Buck shivered thanks to Arcane's nibbling and paw. "Hey I didn't torment you when you were sick." He chuckled again which caused him to cough just alittle. He rolled over on to his back so he could look at Arcane. "Listing all the things would keep us both up all night." He pressed a paw behind Arcane's head and moved it close enough to give a gentle lick.
(( The cute is killing me. LOL Though if things get too much more interesting we may have to fade to black lol ))

Arcane blushed and flopped down on his back beside Buck. "We'll its still pretty early yet, why don't you say them till you fall asleep." He suggested before he sat up and pressed noses with Buck to check his fever. "mmm still high, you need more snow."

Buck chuckled as Arcane flopped over, and then sighed as Arcane confirmed his fever. "Alright, you go get the snow and I'll get the bed set up for us." He stood up a bit shakey but was determined to help get things set up.

Arcane huffed before he picked Buck up by the scruff again and set him down. "No just sit tight I'll come do it once I get you something to eat and some snow." He took the rock, returned with snow and was out again to hunt. He didn't come back for a while but soon returned with a pair of rabbits.

Buck glared as he was picked up like a pup again but was silent. Once Arcane was gone he took a few nibbles from the snow and set about to getting the bed ready. He scooted the rags out to make the perfect nest-like bed then fluffed the fur over the rags. That small bit was enough to make him a bit tired so he snuggled under the fur on his side and finished off the snow. He drifted in and out of sleep but soon the smell of rabbits caused him to open his eyes. "Those look divine, Handsome."

Arcane's ears flattened when he saw the bed was set up. "I shouldn't give you one, because you did wait like I asked...but you are not feeling good." He dropped the rabbit a bit ways of from the bed before setting down and starting to eat his own.

Buck looked at the ground sheepishly. "I figured I'd been down most of the day I could at least get the bed set up." He moved slowly to the rabbit his tail and ears hanging low he sat and started eating slowly on his rabbit.

Arcane glanced up as he ate before dropping his eyes and going back to his rabbit. "If you push your self like that your going to have to stay down longer cause you'll get worse." He looked back up with a glare blood covering his muzzle.

Buck nodded and finished his rabbit quickly. "You've got somethin on yer nose." He smiled and returned to the bed, wiggling back under the covers he then made sure all the blood was off his own face before laying his head down and closing his eyes. "Thank you for taking care of me too." He yawns. "Means alot." Soon he starts producing soft snores.

Arcane licked off his nose a bit more and cleaned up the rabbit, burying it deer under ground so things would come looking for a snack. He then returned to the cave and climbed back in to the fur with Buck. He lay down and covered Buck with one wing to keep him warm before he dropped his head and looked out of the cave making sure nothing was coming.

Buck slept for quite awhile before the urge to use the little boys room and get a drink was too much. His eyes fluttered open and he looked at Arcane. "Please excuse me for just a moment Handsome. And then I'll place myself back into your hands." He ducked under Arcane's wing and quickly dashed into the snow. After running a few feet he stepped aside and took care of his business. He dashed back and took a few small bites of the snow near the mouth of the cave before heading straight under the warm fur. "Ok when this is over we're heading down to my den where it's a bit warmer." He giggled and nuzzled Arcane before getting comfortable once again.

Arcane blinked and his ears when back. "Whats wrong with MY den, its warm." He huffed a bit offended and nipped at Buck's ear hard. He lay his head down looking around the cave. "Your just a wuss..." he grumbled pushing the blanket back on to Buck and letting him self lay in the cold.

"Oh Handsome it's not your den that's so cold, well maybe now." He giggled and stuck out his tongue, his tone light and filled with amusement. "It's what's going on outside the cave, that I'm talking about. Out there is cold snow while down at my place it's still nice out, except when it rains, then it gets a bit cold. I wasn't insulting your den Handsome, I quite enjoy the place actually." He got up and nuzzled Arcane, his back to the entrance.
The male raised his maw to the sky and sniffed. There he is I've got him now! No one messes around with my girl. He quietly sneaks up to the mouth of the cave and peers in. Seeing his quarry nuzzling another he lets out a deep growl. " YOU STAY WAY FROM THAT MALE! NOT ONLY DO YOU MESS AROUND WITH MY GAL BUT NOW YOU'RE MESSING AROUND WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S MATE! I'LL KILL YOU!" The male charges Buck.
Buck turns to face the oncoming male his horns down ready to impale the intruder. But the illness has made him weak and only manages to scratch the other while being thrown about.

Luckily, Arcane wasn't sick any more. He leaped in to action and slammed the attack male off and pinning his to to the ground. His teeth bared growling loudly as he held the other male to the ground.
"And what makes you think your girl wasn't messing with MY mate huh?!" He hissed his wings opened fully so he looked much bigger. He never took his eyes of the other male keeping him to the ground before he bit down on his throat heavily, he didn't intend to kill him only wound him.
(D: *gasp* he admitted his love *squeel* )

Buck was dumbfounded enough that he couldn't even attempt to get up. He had conflicting emotions on one hand he liked arcane alot but was he ready to settle down, not to mention they'd only met the day before but he really liked Arcane.
The male was completely taken by surprise both from the attack and the words. He glared at the male on top of him. "It's no secret that your 'mate' there isn't picky about who he messes with not to mention he flaunts his free-for-all attitude." He grimaces as his throat is bit. "Well you should keep your 'mate' on a shorter leash."
Buck finally manages to get to his feet and walks over to Arcane and the male. "Your gal didn't tell me that she was spoken for and I've made it clear before I leave those with mates with harmless flirting never go any farther. Now I'd advise you leave before my mate decides you look like dinner." Turning to Arcane he nuzzles him and gently pushing on him. "Let the fool up, I doubt he'll bother us anymore." He gives Arcane a very affectionate lick on the maw before his legs go weak and so as not to make a scene he bravely makes it back to the bed and lays down trying to keep the pain from showing on his face.
