Once Hitomi was inside the ride, all she saw was clowns. As she walked deeper into the ride, where the carts were, the clowns started to look scary. She paused a second waiting for Leo.

The ride was full of clowns. He automatically went inside and saw Hitomi waiting for him. He snickered and caught up with her.
"You were scared."

 Still unable to see what the girl was looking at, Rei shrugged and went her way, walking leisurely between the entrances to the various rides.

'Hey! Wait up!' Hitomi ran beside him and held his hand because she was scared, even though she didn't want to admit it. She stepped into the cart and pulled Leo's hand so he would come with her.

As they neared the middle of the ride, it got bumpy and faster, and the clowns slowly started to look super scary. Hitomi glanced at Leo and wondered if he was scared.
