Nitta gasped.
"I cannot believe someone would do that to you! How very rude! I agree with Kyoku, you might want to take this up with your Okaa-san because this sort of thing cannot be allowed to go on."
Nitta pulled her fan out of her obi, snapping it open and fanning herself a little bit.

Makoto placed an eblow on the table,
"I said I would, but...well we used to be such good friends, I'll admit perhaps I may have sounded mean while trying to boost her confidence, calling her a baby but, it was how I was raised by my family and how I was when my brother and sister were born. Not only did my mother and father want to to grow up beautiful and delicate they wanted me to be strong and wise, not one to cry or have such doubt in myselfself to believe that I can do anything I put my mind to. I mean look at me now, from no home to Geisha. It was a wonderful heartbreaking and loving experiance and I want to continue down this path. I...I just want all my girls to be in my okiya to be successful not only beautiful but strong."
Makoto paused.
"Speaking of girls I accepted Miharu and Arikku as younger sisters, they are still excited about that."

((Ryoko, i couldnt help but look, and as far as Nai-kyo goes if she wants to be my little sister she must behave everywhere, ive already had some serious talks with her))

Makoto blinked a few times.
"Oh please, its my fault, I am supposed to help more, Okaa-sama is always very busy as well as the head Geisha, I should be steping up better as a geisha and face tasks no matter how difficult."
Makoto bowed her head lowly to Kyoku, her cheeks growing a bit red.
"Perhaps things just got too out of proption."
She bit her lip slightly not yet having lifted up her head.
"It is my fault I am sure. I am still young as a Geisha, I will have to continue to work hard, I will continue my classes and my studies so that I can be successful and I hope that one day I will be as grand as all of you."

Neyon looked around the bar for a moment, then made himself comfortable on an unnoccupied couch. As his eyes swept slowly over the room, he somehow managed to look both relaxed and alert, as if his body was ready to react to anything.

Cinerea "Thank you!" Amaya said with a smile and took the offered seat. "I think I'd like a beer. Would you like another of the same?" Solice nodded, and asked for the bartender to bring two beers. "So, how are the stables coming along?" he asked, noting that the gentleman next to them had started to listen to the conversation.

"Oh, we put all the archery targets and combat dummies up, and the paths through the forest are cut. I went on a rack with Raku today, practicing with the Yari, and it was great... I think the patrons will like it, too." She grabbed one of the bottles the barman had brought and held it out for Solice to clink the bottoms together, not bothering with the glass. Then she went on, frowning a little:
"I'm a bit worried about Gigi though. She has a mean temper, and although I know her so well she managed to do this today!" When she said the last sentence, she held out her left sleeve for Solice to see that it was frayed and a large patch was missing. "Bit me when I brushed her down, I was lucky she drew no blood. We can only lend her to the most seasoned riders I'm afraid. A real shame, you know, her being gaited and all."
She took a swig from her bottle, then set it down again.
"I was wondering if you'd want to accompany me on my morning ride tomorrow... I have no other appointments at the moment, and I'd like to know how you like the horses and all..."

Solice smirked, taking a swig of the bottle. "I would like to, but your going to have to teach me how to ride a horse. The only thing that has carried me so far has been a boat and my feet." he chuckled. "But I'm a fast learner, so maybe a private lesson will do me good."

"Silly for a geisha to know how to fight? Not at all! A woman has to be able to defend herself!" Nitta smiled. "And by the way," Nitta continued speaking as she pulled a long pin from her hair, "The ends of our hair ornaments were originally made sharp and pointed so that we could defend our customers from attacks if need be." Nitta tapped the pointed end of the hairpin. "And the coral pins worn in the winter? They could be used to test for poison in sake because the coral breaks apart when immersed in it."

"Yes, I see you have the balance and the agility... there will be no problem at all. How about that: First, I give you a lesson in vaulting, so you get used to the horses gait and learn some nice tricks on bareback. We'll take Toto, he looks intimidating, but he's a real sweetheart. Next lesson, we put on the tack and have you riding in circles on the longe and after that, I think youll be all set to go on your own if I accompany you. My mother taught me to ride when I was four, placing me in the saddle in front of her." She grinned and playfully sized him up with a misschievious glint in her eyes, then chuckled: "But you seem to be a tad too large for such an endeavor... although, if you are a talented vaulter, I would not be averse to a pas-de-deux." She reached over and playfully tested his biceps. "Yup, I bet you could lift me over your head!"

Solice smirked at Amaya's comments, and tried to not flinch as she rubbed on his biceps. "So, Tomorrow we train, yes? For now, I say we Drink!" he said as he downed the last of his beer and ordered a bottle of sake. "You up for a drinking game?" he asked as he pulled out a small bag of dice.

Amaya made a brief, pacifying gesture with her open hands as she noticed her companions discomfort at the touch.
