Veanna let out a sigh of relief, and felt herself blush as he tied her robe for her. "I don't mind quitting my job, I didn't like being touched by the manager the way he did any way" she mumered under her breath, and relaxed against his chest once more as she pressed herself close to him. "Thank you for everything" she said softly as she placed a kiss to his chest, just above his heart where a faint bruise was forming from the vase hitting him there. "It makes me happy that I don't have to drop out of college, I would have been terribly upset" she said softly, looking up into his eyes as her own glittered with happiness.

Charlie smiled. " I would be mad if a pretty girl like you dropped out of college too." he said. He could tell a bruise was forming where the vase hit but he would take care of that later.

Veanna felt a soft blush creep onto her face, and murmered something softly against his chest. "Charlie, damn you I think I'm falling in love" were the words she murmered, but she had muffled them so they could not be heard by him easily. She felt her heart bloom with love for him, and she felt terrible for leaving a bruise like she had. She kissed it softly, her skin brushing against his as she shimmied herself closer and enjoyed him company.

Charlie smiled but then he heard the door swing wide open. Oh Mother of Christ. He thought as a shrill voice started to speak. " CHARLIE WHERE YOU SMUUCHUM?"

Veanna felt her body tense as she heard the words ring through the halls of the house, and she looked up at Charlie with a questioning glance. "Now I know that was a female voice, who is she" she asked curiously, wondering if he's been lying to her the whole time. "Perhaps he has a mistress, or some crazy girl as his girlfriend and he totally lied to me" she thought with panic freezing over her thoughts. Slowly she stood up and fixed her robe she she looked semi-decent for whomever was now attending his house.

Charlie groaned and closed his eyes. " My Mother." he said. He hated his parents dropping by with out calling first. Charlie? Where is my sweet little honey bucket." His mothers voice rang in the halls.

Veanna felt her face turn crimson as she looked at Charlie with her jaw dropped. "I can't let your mother see us like this, she'll think we had sex" she nearly screamed as she rushed around trying to figure out what to do. She was freaking out, she hated meeting peoples parents. "I love you Charlie, really I do" she said quickly as she kissed him softly, "but meeting your mother is not on my list of things to do today when I'm not even dressed!!"

Charlie smiled at Veannas words and the soft kiss. " Dont worry Love I have a plan." He said. Charlie picked Veanna up bridal style and he carried her to a different room. He opened the door and placed her on the bed. " You stay here while I go talk to my parents about dropping by without calling." He said placing a kiss on Veanna lips.

Veanna felt herself blush deep red when he carried her off bridal style. It made her feel like he was actually taking her somewhere to bed her, but she knew he wouldn't. "Just make sure I'm not found, I hate dealing with mothers" she muttered under her breath before he silenced her with a kiss. She smiled and watched as he walked out of the room, and she rested against the pillows as she let her mind wander about through the little dream world she created. She wondered what it would be like to be bedded by Charlie, but quickly erased those thoughts because she wanted to see if she could hear Charlie and his mother talking.

Charlie closed the door and walked to where his parents were at. " Hello Mother. Father." he said. Nibblet, How is my little honey comb." Charlie's mother said huging him in a tight grip. " Now dear let the boy go." His father said. Charlie I wanted to know if you picked a girl to marry yet?" Charlies mother asked. Mom stop and not yet. I want to fall in love like you and dad." he said hoping that Veanna wasnt listening. And there is a wild girl that has my heart. he thought. " Mom , Dad as much as I love it when you visit you got to go. I have to go to bed." Charlie said as he pushed his parents out of the house and closed the front door. He waited until he heard their car drive away and he let out a breath. " Veanna you can come out now." he said.

Veanna had been listening the whole time, and felt an odd tug at her heart when she heard his father ask if he had found a woman to marry yet. "I suppose I wouldn't count" she muttered before she heard Charlie say she could come out of hiding. She hid all emotions except for the happy, loving ones she felt around him as she walked to where he was. She acted as if she hadn't heard a single word, and tied the robe sash around her to keep her chest from showing. "That was quick, what should we do now" she asked sweetly, not knowing a blush was still on her cheeks from her thoughts from earlier when she was lying in bed thinking of him.

Charlie sighed and he rubbed the back of his head. Veanna I was wondering if you would like to marry me." he said. " What I mean is my family is going to have a family reunion and they want me to show up with a wife to be and I was wondering if you would want to act as that wife." he said blushing at the thought of her being his real wife.

Veanna knew it was to good to be true, but she hid the fact she was disappointed and nodded her head with a smile. "I would love to be your wife Charlie, don't worry I wont screw things over with you family" she said as she started walking towards the room Charlie had carried her too. "I'll be one of the best make believe brides of the century" she said before walking into the room and shutting the door not knowing if he followed or not. She felt her heart crumbling, but told herself he was rich and wouldn't want someone like her except for a one nighter.

CHarlie sighed. He didnt understand how Veanna got to him but she did. He wanted to mary her for real but she wouldnt want some rich guy. Charile sighed again and headed back to the music room to practice. He wanted to just fade away from the world. He hated being famous cause the women only wanted him for his money.

Veanna slowly sunk down into the bed, and just cried until she couldn't cry anymore. She knew Charlie would want some fancy girl with plenty of money to be his wife, not some girl who worked for a living. She felt her heart breaking, and wanted nothing more than to just get over with acting like his wife, and perhaps leave when he didn't need a "mistress" anymore. She buried her face into the black silk, the coolness of it slightly calming her as she tried to forget about everything and just disappear from the world.
