l ZS Sailor Cancer l M.I.A is talking s**t again about Gaga '…Oprah seemed like she was giving me the cold shoulder. She was with Iman (Bowie). Iman was always dancing with me, hugging and kissing me, but Oprah seemed really pissed off with me. Also she made this huge speech at the ball praising Lady Gaga and about how she (Lady Gaga) is helping Americans to be the best of themselves. There's millions of other Americans who represent that for me. Is (it) about numbers? About how much you're selling? Is it truly about the journey? Because (Lady Gaga's) journey isn't that difficult: to go from the ******** Upper East Side to a ******** performing arts school and on to a stage at the museum of ******** wherever. That journey's about four miles.'
She is where she is now because for years she went around New York city playing at all the clubs and doing everything she can to make it big.It's not like she was on American Idol and won her fame overnight. Lady Gaga WORKED to get where she is.
Oh and Lady Gaga wasn't 'rich'. She may have come from the upper east side but doesn't mean her family was wealthy. She said her family had to make a lot of sacrifices to get her and her sister into one of the best private schools in New York City. M.I.A needs to seriously grow up. She's clearly talking out of her a** at this point and doesn't even know the whole story.

Holy crap. STILL, MIA? Her jealousy stretches as far as her void of research on Gaga. Geez. Oh, but she's admitted several times that her family was well off and wealthy. She did something that got her dad angry and they didn't talk for a while, and that's when Gaga went on her own path and lived alone. So yes, even in a wealthy environment, she had the audacity to go out and live on her own and fare off well. She said that she was making $hit music for 6 years and she was always depressed. M.I.A. is f****** stupid for saying Gaga's journey isn't difficult.

“I love her, she’s absolutely amazing. We’ve become friends. What I like about the Gaga most is that she’s amazingly polite and respectful to everyone around her,” Elton John told The Mirror.

Since I'm also a big Green Day fan, Billie Joe has also said some positive things on his twitter about her:
"I'm at Lady Ga Ga! And she's killing it! She's in a plastic nun costume!!!!
She's covered in blood! Show me your teeth! Great drummer! 2 amazing ballads!!
Awe tipsy.. Fun night and cool lady. Very sweet to my family and friends and as far as all the other "diva" pop singers,,,? They're not even close. She told me the first cd sh bought with her own money was dookie. She was in the hmv line when were doing an instore"

Asides from being both musically enthusiastic they also have background dating back to old school punk, which is a fairly decent common ground.
