Ali retained his guard when the bandits stopped. He didn't expect them to fight with any honor. Thankfully though, they seemed to take orders from the girl really well. It didn't make any sense to Ali that they would do that, let alone that there even was a female in this woman's position. But it really wasn't the main thing on his mind at that moment.
He tried to look the woman over better, but holy s**t, she didn't waste any time! You'd think Ali had been the one to hit on her or something the way she came at him! "Would you just ********'-- Gah!!" He lifted his sword and intercepted the poleaxe, but the woman went straight into a a followup move. Ali hopped back, barely missing the axe blade and then slashed back, since there was a chance her slash had left her open. It didn't. The weapons met again and the two of them struggled to overpower the other for a minute. "Damn it... b***h...! I aint no messenger and I didn't get ********' lost...! I-" Before he could finish, Ali was forced back and unexpectedly tripped over some rubble he hadn't known was there. He fell on his a**. He was open.

When are these idiots ever going to learn? Jezebel was a volatile ingredient in the slurry of bandits roving across Sentria; she followed orders sometimes, and then other times she simply followed her own whims. Her 'collection' was positively revolting, but it at least it kept her happy. Jezebel was difficult enough to deal with as it was, and catching her in a good mood was sometimes the only way to assure she would even bother to listen, much less agree. But there was no time to mentally complain. Orders had to be carried out, and that meant delivering other orders. A figure clad in black and violet suddenly descended from atop a crumbling building nearby, and before the axe-bearing man could realize what had happened, boots crashed into his shoulders, and he fell to the ground, dazed and bewildered. His buddy seemed rather defensive about it; he lifted his own weapon and swung. The small figure deftly dodged to the side, tucking into a roll. He swung again, and his new target simply sidestepped. Easily leaping to the side to avoid a third hefty swing, the black-clad Assassin threw a small dart. He paused at the sharp sting of metal sinking into his neck, but before he could respond again, he collapsed to the ground, out cold. The Assassin drew up to full height, two unconscious or otherwise-unresponsive bandits nearby. Adjusting the bandages wrapped around both hands, Murphy's round brown eyes narrowed in Jezebel's direction. "Jezebel, please rein in your temper. We don't have the time for it anymore." A single dagger appeared in each of Murphy's hands, short and wickedly sharp. It served as a small reminder: Listen to me when I'm talking to you. "Plans have changed. The Serpent's Fang is requesting that you bring your new... 'friends' to see him. Immediately. Discussion won't be necessary."Murphy glanced at Ali and Jaren, still holding the daggers. "It should go without saying that the same applies for you." The Assassin looked back at Jezebel. "Let's move, if you would. You should know he hates waiting."

Jaren was still staring down the bandits before him when the cloaked assassin fell from above and took out two of the scoundrels with startling speed.
"Holy crap Ali! It's a ninja! Where the heck did you come from fella?" Jaren demanded raising his sword again. "Hey are you a bad guy too? You don't look like these guys!" His questions went unanswered as Murphy addressed Jezebel. "Oh you're with her? So wait, I'm confused Ali. Is he good or bad? Who's this Serpent's Fang you're talking about? If you're an evil ninja, know that you will taste the Sword That Champions Justice!"
The day kept getting weirder and weirder.

xxxxxx"You foolish men who walk the earth like blasted kings!" x "I will collect my trophies soon."8===========================> xx J e z e b e l xx <===========================8 xxxxx Jezebel chuckled and then licked her lips. "Are about to become an addition to my collection." she said, finishing the man's sentence. Without giving him a chance to get up, Jezebel raised her poleaxe and and began to swing down.
However, the sudden appearance of the assassin who forced the brigands to stop made Jezebel jump and caused her swing to fall short. It lodged into the sand maybe two inches from the black man's middle, landing in between his legs. "What the hell-" Jezebel looked up angrily and locked eyes with Murphy. He knew how to deal with Jezebel. He didn't look at her as meat- that also meant he wasn't any fun, either.
Jezebel jerked her head away and rolled her eyes. "Tch! ...Fine." She pulled back her axe as she leaned up and glared down at the black man. "You're lucky, maggot. You get to keep yours. Now get up and get moving!"
"Your wangs shall be a fine addition to the others!"xxxx

Murphy stared long and hard at Jaren, brown eyes narrowed underneath a fringe of black hair and a purple and black hood. Who did this kid think he was? The Assassin didn't even flinch as Jaren lifted his sword and proceed to very loudly announce his entire thought process, not even earning a twitch of response. "Oh, you're with her? So wait, I'm confused, Ali..." Murphy didn't bother to clarify. It didn't really matter, honestly, whether or not he believed this "ninja" to be one of Jezebel's buddies. It was all business. The Assassin gave a slow nod to Jezebel, casually nudging the hand of an unconscious bandit out of the way of a boot-covered foot. Neither were dead, but if they didn't wake up soon, then at least one of them might have a bit of memory issues. Head injuries could be finicky like that. (Then again, bandits weren't typically selected for their cunning or intelligence, so perhaps for Jezebel's purposes, it was for the best?) Both daggers disappeared from sight, leaving Murphy's hands free. The Assasin then let out a small sigh and scratched a finger idly against a scar across the cheek, starting about an inch below the corner of the right eye and curving down to just below and to the side of the corner of the mouth. "Good. We're on a tight schedule. Let's move."The Assassin adjusted the large kerchief of cloth worn over the chest and tied around the neck before giving a neutral glance to the still-fallen Ali and the clearly-bewildered Jaren. Brown eyes narrowed as Murphy's neutral expression tinged with impatience. "I said move. The Serpent's Fang is waiting."

Ali eyed the kid that had just appeared and saved him. From his garb and professional performance, the kid looked like he was from the Shadow Guild. Ali had only heard about them, he hadn't actually met one of those assassins before, but he did know that the Serpent Fang naturally had connections with the group. It wasn't too big of a surprise to see a Shadow Guild assassin. The surprise was that it was a kid.
The bandit looked back at Jezebel, glanced down at the axe and then back up to her. "WOULD YOU GET YO AXE AWAY FROM MY CROTCH, ********' b***h?! DAMN." Ali scooted back before getting to his feet, securing his sword to his side and brushing himself off. "Crazy a** b***h, swingin' 'round her ********' crotch chopper..." Ali mumbled as he went over to Jaren and lowered the kid's sword. "Put the damn sword away... and let's go."
The group set off into the city, moving closer to the large castle with dome shaped roofs, in the middle of the capital. Though the castle itself was well kept and beautiful, the rest of the city was in shambles. The ruins of the buildings were seen when they entered, but going through the streets truly showed the destruction that had taken place so long ago. Only some buildings were completely put together and looked like they were much more recently built; obviously the bandits slept somewhere and couldn't all fit in the castle.
While they walked, Ali glanced over at Jaren, who probably wasn't sure of what was happening. "The Serpent Fang is the leader of Sentria's largest group.. and also the country." Ali looked down at the kid, and then back ahead of him. "He's the man I came to see. He's why we're here."
As the group reached the castle, they climbed the long, wide stairwell to the top and then went inside. It was amazingly spacious and filled with elegant tapestries and rugs, for those that actually cared. As Ali looked around, he eventually turned to the cloaked child. "So, where to?"

Murphy's stature and apparent age didn't seem to translate into confidence or authoritative nature around those more experienced, and those clearly older; the Assassin walked with the stride of a looming, battle-scarred warrior. Head held high, hands held loose at the sides, Murphy's stride made no sound across the sand and stones. No attention was paid to Ali's speech to his green-haired companion, the one who had made the "ninja" accusations. He was a non-threat, really. The tiny Assassin guided the group up the stairwell to its peak and into the castle, then turned to face them. Now safely out of the harsh sun and blistering winds of the Sentrian day, Murphy raised both hands, and the hood over the Assassin's head was lowered. The young one's hair was short, wavy, and incredibly messy, with choppy bangs sweeping across the top of the Assassin's forehead, but not quite far down enough to hide the scar over and through the left eyebrow. "We go up." Murphy sheathed both daggers at both hip holsters and turned once more, walking wordlessly ahead. They would follow, or they would pay. Simple as that. With bandits moving throughout the castle, as well as the Shadow Guild assassins and thieves lurking in the shadows, they wouldn't be able to so much as suppress a cough without someone noticing and calling them out on it. Murphy walked in complete silence, hardly even giving any notice of recognition to those they passed. Murphy strode into the expansive throne room, with no barriers separating the group from the figure at the far end of the aisle. The Assassin closed the distance between the throne and that archway, moving now across a long, ornate rug. "Sir." Murphy fell to one knee, head bowed, and pressed the thumb-side of one fist to the heart, with the other hand on the knee. The Assassin looked up after a moment of respectful silence, waiting for the Serpent Fang's cue to rise up to full height (as meager as it was) once more. "The three you asked for." There was a brief pause before the addition of, "Are my services desired further, sir?"

Super Awesome Swordsman; Jaren Degriess!
I'm the HERO of JUSTICE LOVE ME! Jaren sheathed his sword at Ali's command, and followed after the ninja, of course he chatted the whole way but by now Ali was used to it and Murphy seemed like he'd be able to ignore the peppy guy. "Wait, whoa, so we're going to see the king?" He asked while walking quickly licking his palm and then running his hand through his hair in a vain attempt to get it to lie flat. "That awesome! I've never met a King before, well there was this one time I met a guy named King... or was it Queen? I don't remember but he wore a silly dress and told me he'd make me feel good for a gold piece!"
And on he droned until they reached the castle, and then he droned on as they went up the stairs. "Oh hey look Ali! More people, awwww but they're all guys." Jaren glanced back at Jezebel assuming she had followed this far and winked at her. "But you're not!"
Eventually they made it to the throne room.
Jaren who had no sense of tact what so ever strode forwards along with Murphy, matching each of the assassins steps, the only difference was that when Murphy bowed Jaren did not.
He also stuck his foot on his mouth, "So you're King of the Desert eh? Cause I've noticed some serious problems! You have a major bandit problem, first of all! Second, no water, might wanna fix that. Third, all your buildings are falling apart! Carpentry, jus' sayin. Fourth..."
Someone had better stop him.We all have our secrets, we all wear a mask. A persona if you will, to cover our real selves, our shadows, the face that we could not show to society and still appear sane. Not even we know our true nature.

The Serpent Fang slouched in his throne as the four people entered the room. Two skinny girls, scantily dressed, clung to his legs, rubbing them with their bodies. They did not stop at the arrival of more people. They did not even seem to notice their presence.
He looked the two new faces over as they approached, and even as he signaled Murphy to rise. The black man looked strong and dependable. The kid with him seemed to be the complete opposite. At Murphy's question, he glanced over to her. "No, they aren't, but I'd stick around anyway if I were you and Jezebel too, because-"
His words were grossly interrupted by the kid, who so daringly decided to address him. The Serpent Fang stared blankly at him as he kept spouting his complaints. Complaining to the Bandit King about a major bandit problem in the country; it was suddenly clear that this boy... had to be the most naive, oblivious being in existence. "You're right!" he said, stopping the boy from proceeding. His tone was surprisingly calm. "I'll get right on that." He looked down at the two at his feet. "Girls, our guest appears displeased. Why don't you go comfort him?" He snapped his fingers and the two girls flowed up onto their feet. They swayed over to the boy, one on each side, and clung onto his arms before pressing their breasts upon him and blowing softly upon his face. They showed no visible enjoyment.
"I am Drake, the Serpent Fang, and ruler of these lands." He grinned slightly. "But of course, you know that... or else you wouldn't be here. Which leads me to the question we all here are dying to know the answer to..." His calm demeanor suddenly shifted to a menacing stare. "Why have you come here?"

Ali was muttering incoherent curses under his breath as Jaren suddenly started talking, saying idiotic things to a man like the Serpent Fang. He was going to be made a fool of because of the kid! Ali was about to stop him, when the Serpent Fang did it instead. Ali remained quiet and just watched wide eyed, almost certain that the bandit boss was going to order their death at any moment, but that order never came.
Instead, a question came, and the look that Drake gave him caused Ali to instantly straighten up. "My name's Ali, born here in Sentria. I been in a few groups, fought a lot a fights. My last boss was Feo, the Harem Herder. It... didn't work out." He glanced to the side, reliving obnoxious memories of that man and his disgusting habits. "The kid's with me. He's a Learanian who was left to die. The reason we've come... is to join your group."

Murphy could not believe it. Simply could not believe it. What in the name of Paggy was this boy doing? First the rambling about being solicited by a transvestite prostitute, and now approaching the Serpent's Fang and ranting to him. It was only expected that it be about complete trivialities and things that he couldn't possibly either care about or not know already, but... holy crap this kid needed to shut up. Murphy lifted a hand to smack Jaren across the back of the head, but then the Serpent's Fang had spoken up, surprisingly collected in the face of such insolence, and Murphy slowly dropped that arm back down, letting both arms rest at the Assassin's side without taking action. Gods damn this boy would end up being the death of them. If he didn't cause his own death first, that is. Murphy's stance did not so much as falter as the Serpent Fang's casual demeanor shifted into one of intimidation. The Assassin continued to hold still and at attention, arms held loosely at the sides, eyes directed briefly to the green-haired idiot child before moving to Ali. The Serpent's Fang had been busy in giving orders to both the Assassin and Jezebel, but Murphy did not bring it up to him as he addressed the dark-skinned man. He would bring it back up eventually. He always did. "The reason we've come... is to join your group."Murphy just couldn't help it; the little Assassin let out a surprisingly high-pitched derisive snort, almost startlingly loud in the expansive room. Almost instantly, the Assassin's face angled down towards the floor. Murphy clasped both hands quietly at the front of the body and kept silent after that, listening intently still. That idiot? Work under the Serpent's Fang? He'll die within the week. The other one is crude, though I can't say anything now of his abilities... Murphy looked at Ali out from the corner of the eyes, head angled slightly to allow reasonable visibility, but for the messy black hair that had been previously hidden under a violet hood to mostly hide the Assassin's face from view. Adding more to the ranks only makes things more precarious, though... I'll have to stay alert...

Super Awesome Swordsman; Jaren Degriess!
I'm the HERO of JUSTICE LOVE ME! "Hahahaha excellent! I wouldn't expect any less from a King!" Jaren exclaimed delightedly in response to Drake's blowing him off assurance. "Oh, I'm not displeased! I'm never displeased you can ask Ali! I'm always in the best of moooooooooooooooo----" Jaren was cut off of what promised to be a long winded and nonsensical tirade when the two girls who were at Drake's feet suddenly decided they liked Jaren better.
"Oooohohohohohohoho," He laughed, face going red as he put his arms around the girls. "Hey Ali, lookit, lookit ehehehehehehehehe that tickles" He giggled as they blew on his face. Of course Ali was busy having what looked like a mini-panic attack. So instead Jaren gaze met Murphy's eyes, the myrmidon gave the assassin a wink."The reason we've come... is to join your group."Jaren turned back to Ali, "Oh really? Huh, so thats why we were wandering naked in the desert together! What is this guy a King of Justice or something?" Suddenly something seemed to occur to Jaren and his eyes went wide as he shoved the two girls off of him, taking a few big steps forwards and shouting now. "OH, I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT! I NEVER INTRODUCED MY SELF YET!" He quickly cleared his throat and began to speak dramatically. "Through out the shifting sands! One man and his bestest friend in the world walk, saving helpless citizens from evil and injustice everywhere! The man who slayed Basheekylucky and his funny named bandits! JAREN DEGRIESS THE HERO OF JUSTICE AND HERO IN TRAINING ALI IDON'TKNOWHISLASTNAME" Jaren's voice echoed around the chamber. The myrmidon had been making pacing and making faces throughout his speech and now stopped beside Ali, one hand on his hip and the other pointing into the air in what he imagined was a heroic pose.
He also clearly expected Ali to do the sameWe all have our secrets, we all wear a mask. A persona if you will, to cover our real selves, our shadows, the face that we could not show to society and still appear sane. Not even we know our true nature.

"What the-!!" His eyes flared widely. "Whaddya mean we were wanderin' naked?! You was the only one who was naked! And don't talk about us bein' 'together' like that, you'll give people the wrong idea, sick ********, the kid had become too accustomed to hearing Ali shouting, and so everything the bandit had just said went in one ear and out the other. As Jaren began to introduce himself, Ali's face sank and his eye began to twitch. Never in his life had he seen such ridiculous poses and faces. Jaren then stopped by him in a stupid pose and his resounding voice echoed within the throne room as he finished. Ali's face showed that he was clearly unamused. "...I take it back, he aint with me."
It was rejection.

Out of everything said, there was one word that lit a spark in Drake's eyes above all else. He subtly grinned and mumbled to himself. "...Learanian, huh...?"
He snapped a finger and the two girls hastily knelt back down by the side of the throne, bowing their heads to hide their empty eyes that showed no apparent will of their own. Drake then arose and stepped towards the duo. "Ali, is it? The very same... Ali the Ruiner? You've got a bit of a reputation, you know... I hear they call you that, because any group you join ends up falling apart." Drake chuckled. "Must get annoying being called that by a bunch of superstitious idiots. It's mostly all in fun, though. I personally ignore the name and focus on what else I hear... like your skill. And skill, I can use!" He grinned. "Welcome to the group... Ali."
Drake then turned his focus to the boy. He walked over, put his hand on Jaren's shoulder as a sign of friendship and began to pace slowly. "As for you... just a bit ago you asked if I was a King of Justice, right?" His tone was changing into a more warming and peaceful one. "Truthfully... that's exactly right." He smiled at the kid, ignoring any strange looks from the others. "At least... that's what I'd like to think. You see, not too long ago, I received word that Learania...invaded my country and attacked one of the band- err, one of the military forts." He bowed his head in feigned sorrow. "It seems Ali was the only survivor... I never thought Feo would fall so easily." He then shifted his face so that it would be perceived as pensive by the boy. "But... you were here, too, weren't you? And... you're a Learanian... aren't you." Drake took his arm away and stood in front f Jaren. "You, a Hero of Justice, couldn't possibly be one of the bad people that invaded my country... could you?"
The guilt; it was laid on thick. It was obvious to everyone that the boy was a true idiot. He lived a deluded outlook on things and his mannerisms were a joke to behold. He would be no true asset, but Drake had an idea on how to use him, if only he could be convinced that Learania was evil.

Rejecting Jaren was pretty much the worst way to try and get him to stop from doing something. As Ali was about to find out, Jaren rushed over to where Ali was standing and wrapped him up in a huge hug. "N-not with you?! Of course I am! We came here together, didn't we? After wandering that horrible desert! What about all that time I spent tied to you?! Did that mean nothing? Or the nights we slept together under the stars?!" The myrmidon then gripped Ali's wrists tightly, pulling and trying to tug Ali's arms into a heroic pose. If Ali resisted, him and Jaren would look like they were doing an awkward dance and he'd look ridiculous... of course if he didn't resist, Jaren would just make him pose and he'd still look ridiculous.
Thankfully Drake interrupted before Ali could sock Jaren in the face. The myrmidon perked up the moment Drake started paying attention to him and stopped trying to force Ali to pose (instead he just held onto Ali's hands).
"Invade? No, no, we weren't here to invade! A little girl got kidnapped and we went to save her, I would never invade a country that was good. See I'm the HERO of Justice, not the villain! That umm Feo guy was... well I don't know WHO he was! Ali, who was Feo?" Ahhh poor innocent sweet Jaren.
