Rei grunted and ended the call."I'm not going anywhere. I'll protect you Zane..."Her expression relaxed for a moment as she mumbled this under her breath. Then she scowled again and kept up her silent vigil.

 Val walked down the highway. She saw her brother and said, "Everyone out of the hallway." She picked him up and took him in his room. She locked the door. "DO NOT ENTER! NO ONE!"

"Loosen up, Rei." Kiriko smiled. "Things will turn out fine. So get that frown off your face. We're all going to support Zane." Turning towards the shut door, Kiriko wondered again, Just what kind of a sister is she?

Rei stepped aside to let Zane and his sister in, then took up watch outside the door.

Kiriko yawned. "Well, since you seem like you have control here, Rei, I'll go wander around a bit. Find me if anything happens." Kiriko walked away, debating whether to go to the forest, rose garden, or springs.

She stepped out of the room, covered in blood. "He'll be fine...in a couple days." He looked to Rei. "Jacob is back in Hell. You have nothing to worry about...for now."

She smirked."Duly noted."She suppressed a yawn, looking back at the door."Then as long as he will be ok, I think I'm going to go fall dead in my room now. It was nice to meet you, uh, Zane's sister. I am Rei." Even tired she remembered her manners and bowed politely."I pray we meet again under better circumstances."
