He was a bit shy. He was always used to getting beaten up back at his old school, as he was a bit nerdy. He just stood there, hoping that one of them would help him out, instead of looking at him like he was a freak.
"Umm...Can you?"

"Um... W-where do you need to go?" Cassidy asked the new boy. In her lifetime, she had never seen him at the school. 'This is the most I've seen... people in once place since I died.' Cassidy thought to herself, but didn't mention anything about it. Lana had a good question. The boy didn't look like he was a ghost.

He looked at his schedule again, fumbling with it.
"Uh...Honors English. Mrs. Perkins. You know where that is?"

"It's, um, over there. Follow me." She started to walk to the room and looked behind her.

Cassidy smilied at Mrs.Perkins name. She had her as a teacher when she was still alive. "Down the hall, should be... Third door on the left. She's a really nice teacher, so don't worry about that." Cassidy said, actually cheerfully. She decided to tag along after Lana who said for the boy to follow, planning on not walking near the doorway enough to be seen.

"Umm...I think I'll follow here. Umm...no offense of course..I just..I...I think I'll just go now."
I hate talking to fleshies. I prefer spirits. For some reason, I never have these issues. with them.

"Um... ok bye." She looked at Cassidy. "I'm going back to my windowsill. Bye!" She disappeared and sat on the window.

Cassidy stared blankly from one person to another as they spoke. After a moment she just shrugged and sighed. "Not getting used to this very fast at all..." She muttered to herself, wrapping her head phone cord around her hand.

Brian jumped in surprise, dropping his books.
"Wha...wha...You...you're not alive?"
He spoke to Cassidy, the only one left.

She stared at the sky. It didn't seem to make her happy, so she appeared back in the hallway.

Cassidy flinched slightly, but recovered quickly. "Nope... We both arn't. But... How can you see us? Normally people don't notice us.." Cassidy answered, rubbing the back of her neck. The faint feeling of the pressure of the head phone cords around her neck a bad reminder. She jumped when Lana appeared again. "Jeez... That's not helping either." she said.

He composed himself quickly, so that no living person would think him weird. He leaned against a locker and tried to look normal.
"I'm the seventh child of a seventh child, and was born on midnight. I've been able to see ghosts since I was born."

Cassidy nodded as if she understood, but she didn't really. Her living friend might have known more about that, but there was no way in asking her. "What a way to come to a new school, huh? First people you meet are dead." Cassidy said, shrugging slightly.
