Jessie and James and Butch and Cassidy of team rocket are named after the famous American outlaws Jessey James and Butch Cassidy, also Attila and Hun are named after Attila the Hun.

Flareon only learns one Fire Type physical move, and it is a physical fire attacker so it is rather useless.

Gallade is the only non grass type to learn Leaf Blade.

In Cubone's Dex entry, it says that it wears the skull of its dead mother. But when you breed a Marowak, it doesn't die and Cubone still wears a skull.

*Error in one of the games.
Larvitar is female only, while Pupitar is male/female. That would mean that Larvitar would change genders, since Pupitar cannot be caught in the wild.
