I tired out the skill/mini game yesterday.
And I agree. I wish I could keep some items! Some. At least 10% of the items I make.
I wish we could get some rewards, during the thing, that we could keep other than Tokens.
Why can't we find treasure which we could trade in for tokens.
Example: 10 pairs of blah blah vases = 2 tokens. Or collect a set of items (collection items) before trading them in for tokens or lame limited time items such as "Ability to wear your own armor and weapons in any floor level and complexity level of your choice."

So yeah. It is an ok. I want to go with a group... maybe just a duo.

Got ******** screwed over 3 times in a row so I stopped playing...

First Plane-Freezer kills me because I kept getting pushed away before I could ever attack and ran out of food and died.

Then when I got more food (13 salve eels) I burned 10 of them at 99 cooking.

Then I got a monolith and got piled by ten level 50 spirits... And I got glitched and couldn't leave the door I came in for some reason even when it stopped charging...

You DON'T say how shitty the XP is and how long it takes just
to get a ******** level. And how you can't use your own armor
and weapons, and how you CAN'T keep anything you pick up
in the dungeons.

*rage*

But the XP is the beauty of it. They didn't want another grinding skill. You can play this and could enjoy it too. It isn't just about clicking. mrgreen
This is the only skill that I enjoy training, regardless of experience. Some parts of Hunter, Farming, and Slayer, maybe, and Construction has some perks, but I can just jump down there and dungeonplunge and it's fun. Complexity 6 dungeons are nice; if I get lonely, I can summon a gorajo to talk to. Also nice: summons don't vanish when you die in Daemonheim, they just follow you back to the starting room. Hooray!

So far I've only done small groups, or with one other person; I like being able to make armour and potions for people.

James and I had to fight that Plane-Freezer thing. We
did a medium size dungeon on like...6:6. We couldn't
get into two, maybe three rooms because my mining wasn't
high enough. God damn, I was starting to get so bored of
it and just wanted to finish.

I want to write an angry letter to Jagex. Having lived in
Wisconsin, affectionately named The Frozen Tundra, I'd like
to point out that walking on ice is actually quite easy and you
rarely slide around that much.

The MINI GAME, not even going to call it the skill anymore. Its ok, the exp is so little till you get to complex 6, and bigger rooms. But the running around is VERY annoying. Have to make lots of like gate stones for less running. Wish they could stack up or something, cause they take up to much space or having to keep making one each time.

ITS NOTHING LIKE WOW, I saw someone post that. Don't even compare it to WoW raiding or stuff. It's a mix between Zelda and DnD I think.

The binding item ins annoying too, wish it could bind more and when you higher lvl it so you can bind full sets, not just 4 items at max lvl. I found out to you can bind up to 125 arrows so you can bind arrow and bow. for rangers, or staff and runes for mage.

I give it alike a 7/10 myself, its fun but some things just lower the raiding on fun for this Mini game.

It feels almost exactly like DnD and Zelda. Hell, I'm going to
go ahead and guess that some of these levels will even be
like Hackmaster for ******** sake. I think the XP should be upped
quite a bit, or at least give us OTHER ways to earn XP while
running around in the dungeon. I foresee this being one thing
I'll only do for parties or something. I won't train it past 70.

Actually, I love the skill. It was very confusing at first, but after you get the hang of it, it's super fun. It is a nice change that they released a skill for both F2P and P2P. I find it a lot more fun if you Solo the dungeon on a lower level because you don't have to share xp, the rewards or anything else. I also played a game with these jerks and they were cussing me out. XD

Anyway, great skill, now lets see if Jagex can come up with anything more. If they do, maybe I'll start playing more.

I usually solo, but I've enjoyed most groups...even if no one knows you should trap mastyx whenever possible. xp I suppose that with the sort of usual gameplay in Runescape, someone yelling "Don't kill it!!" is crazy talk.

I actually find it more fun to go through the dungeons with
James than by myself.
1.) It goes faster.
2.) I HATE running back and forth.
3.) You get more XP.
4.) Things die faster.

You just have to find the right people to dungeon with to
make it fun.

I try to duo whenever I can. I also get at least 1K experience per floor now, hoping to get up to 2K at some point razz

I'm not sure what max experience for floor 1 is, I'll have to ask my friends when they get all 30 or w/e floors done. Got three that are 70+ already =P And they all dungeon together x.x' So they're probably gonna get 99/120 together haha.

I've been in 3 that sucked, haha. Since it's such a new skill, 2 of the groups had no idea what to do.

The running back and forth is time consuming and a pain. :/

True.
