Nick would pass through the hallway first followed by Marcia with Ander in the back. He had insisted it to be so. Before leaving he took the other torch in the room leaving it in complete darkness as they entered the hallway.

As expected the next three feet of ceiling came crashing down after a clicking noise. It had been just inches from smashing Ander into part of the floor. A chill ran up his spine as he felt the drop. This place would prove to bring back some memories of his time as the Chimera gang leader. Adventurous bunch his former gang was.

Nick continued. The trick was already very old to her...

"Yes." Ander nodded than took a quick glance at the solid 'door' behind him. Their guide didn't seem phased or surprised, which was probably a good thing. The fact she probably expected it could be taken both ways.

He frowned as the group continued forward. Everything about that damn cloak was familiar. Why? Something was blocking the memory from his mind.

Nick focused forward, partially thankful none of the two had any questions to ask. The less the better. The quicker they got out of here the better. The artifact's name was the most unpleasant of them all.

Ander held to the same philosophy, a rouge's busyness was there own. But still, there was something off about this person. "Do you know where we are?" He inquired finally after getting over the shock of almost being crushed by a door.

"Imperial territory." Nick responded flatly. It was only part of his answer, but even she couldn't fully tell the two what temple this was. All she knew was what she was looking for. And hopefully it wold go much smoother than the previous two, despite what the name suggested.

Ander was almost as stunned at the news as Marcia was. They had to have been out a while in order for them to get that far without knowing. The feeling was comparable to the night he woke up with all those scars on his back from that strange contraption that controlled his movements. They would be there the rest of his life as a reminder that he had no idea what the hell happened....

"Indeed... but don't let eagerness get the better of you." Nick looked at the wall as she spoke. Strange lines parallel to the floor appeared on the wall. By now Nick could see where the hallway lead into a dark room. Any details about the room were still obscured by the distance.

The more Ander watched the back of the woman's hood the more the nightmares kept coming to mind. His frown deeped, her, it, that day his Chimera gang was wiped out. That was the memory that kept coming to mind. Fuzzy as it was, he remembered looking through the old base to see the carnage.

Most of them had their skulls crushed and burned. If this was the case him and Marcia were both in trouble. Best keep this information to himself.

Nick was unaware of Ander's slow catching on. Usually the black fog around her prevented any link between superstition and herself. What she didn't know was Saga, Ander's ZOID, was preventing that from happening to him.

She paused as they neared the room. Large, four pillars in the center of the room, and looked to be a battle ground or underground Colosseum. Her heart dropped. This couldn't be good...

Once the group was past the door and into the large room another door trap was triggered. And again it nearly crushed Ander, missing him by merely a few inches. This time he was far to consumed by his thoughts to be startled by the sudden slam of solid rock behind him.

Nick looked down toward the battle ring in the center of the room. Quite a decent... this was by far the biggest room of all three temples she had seen, and no doubt going to be the most vicious. It wasn't large enough to battle ZOIDs against each other, no, human fights or possibly organoids. Room of Judgment came to mind. How appropriate. What made this place worse was it looked as if the exit would be inside the ring on the other side. GOD only knew what would happen as soon as they set foot in the sand.

Whats more, their silence was starting to leave Nick unsettled. The previous soldiers were somewhat vocal, but they, after understanding the circumstances, were clear on their intentions. Nick had formed a very strong trust in both of the soldiers...

These two were also not disciplined like the soldiers were. They were rogues to the country. That thought in mind, Nick was more cautious than before.

The sands of the battle field were separated from the 'stands' by a twelve foot wall. They would have to jump down to continue any further. But if something should pop out they would be trapped down there without a chance to make it to the safety of the stands.

Ander frowned. Riot would kill him if he died here, so to speak. But that was not what took up his focus, no, plots of revenge. With each passing moment he was growing more confident that this was the one responsible for for half his former gang's death. His good chi was once again interrupted.

Nick hopped the wall with little hesitation. Not much to do if there was a trap or not down there. From what she could see through the dark there was nothing but sand and the only way out of the room down there.

Ander jumped from the wall after Nick did. Revenge was now heavily on the mind and over took the 'gentleman' persona. He was now certain who this person was. No weapons, no problem. God gave him a good pair of strong hands for strangling! He'd be sure to put up a fight.

"It was you, wasn't it?" He growled. Bad things seemed to happen when his good chi was broken... "You murdered my gang, my family!"

Nick looked over her shoulder at the now very aggravated rogue. Well, this probably wouldn't end well. Why wasn't the fog blocking any memory of that? Nick didn't say a word to his accusation. What could she say? It was true.
