Scheelite had his full of Senshi for the day as well, so rather than use the smoke pellet to launch another attack at Alcyone (or whoever he could get his hands on), he used it as it was intended. Their getaway.
When the smoke cleared the pair was gone, no trace left of them minus the bits of lingering smoke.

The senshi of storms murmured a quiet 'thank you' to Sailor Orion, making sure that she stood with a straight back and the kind of confidence one would hold themselves with were they not feeling tremendous amounts of pain at the ankle. It was important for her to keep the facade until the agents left, or, at the very least, until they were a good distance away where she felt comfortable enough to summon a storm and not drench her beloved team members or the tanned ginger currently holding her up. Her eyes never left the paired lieutenants as they marched their distance, and it took her a few more minutes still to relax after the smoke dissipated and revealed an empty street.
Once she realized that the two were indeed gone, she slumped against Orion, letting her power diffuse into lackluster jeans and a peasant top. She was lucky that she'd worn flip-flops prior to the attack, as any other shoe would not have allowed the now softball-sized ankle to fit through. Alba winced at the sight, knowing fully well that walking on it was out of the question for the moment.
"Ugh...I suppose I need to go to the hospital for this. It's been a while."
She did not sound enthusiastic at the prospect of returning once more.

Atlas was stiff as a rail with nervousness as the two lieutenants trailed away, not wanting to move a muscle until he was sure they couldn't see him or his teammates. He was half convinced the taller, blonder one would snap and come back at them again if he so much as breathed too loudly. It was only when their footsteps waned into inaudibility that he dropped his fight-or-flight stance to a relieved slouch, heaving a loud sigh of relief.
"Is it me, or is everyone in the N-negaverse completely nuts?" he asked, by means of conversation. The flavor of the air was sort of awkward now that the thread was gone, the presence of a senshi none of them had met before in their place.
And Alcyone's ankle had swollen up something terrible. Atlas winced at the sight, then bent towards her out of concern, saying, "You probably shouldn't walk on that. Here, I can carry you back to your dorm..."

The pitter-patter of retreating Negaversers wasn't the only thing that could be heard. Sailor Merope had both of his hands cupped in front of his face into the world's worst makeshift gasmask and was coughing, eyes watering. “Ugggh!” He managed, wiping his eyes with the back of one hand. The breezy fuku faded away to reveal a pair of babby pants and a hoodie – a much, MUCH warmer upgrade to his previous outfit.
The boy turned towards his teammates and coughed again before running a hand through his damp hair. The adrenaline rush was wearing off. Sure, it was all fine and dandy to be roughed up as Merope – but it was Carter Martin who had to deal with the after-affects.
Which... honestly didn't seem to phase him that much. He grinned at his teammates. “I think we did pretty good!” He chirped, “I think crazy's one of their requirements, but... uh, you sure you're okay there...?” Carter said, shifting his attention to Alba.

Orion kept a hold of Alcyone during the whole exchange with the Negaversers, his grip tightening when she slumped against him after they left. He glanced down at her about to ask if she was okay, but he was distracted by the giant size of her ankle. And then by the fact that the girl he was holding up was the girl from the library. "Alba?!" He didn't hide the surprise on his face. Looking around he spotted Carter and his jaw further dropped. "Hey, I know you too!" It was too surreal.
Realizing he was still Orion he let his fuku go, powering down to jeans and zipped up jacket. Looking over at the tall sailor that seemed to want to take Alba he nodded and gently handed her off. As much as he'd love to carry her off into the sunset she did have an ankle the size of a softball which wasn't a big turn on really. "And yeah, I don't think many Negas are all that sane." He shook his head remembering some of his previous encounters.
"Oh, I'm Damian, by the way." He wasn't sure if they were supposed to shake hands or what.

"I would imagine they have a few screws loose." Alba agreed. Anybody who'd be willing to take the lives of innocent bystanders to obtain more power for-- well, for more power's sake as far as she knew, couldn't possibly be emotionally healthy. One would argue that most humans are pre-dispositioned to be aggressive, but Alba would like to think that there are people who are more opt to offer a hand shake than let out a punch.
"I think I'm alright," She answered Carter, while at the same time lowering her foot to the ground to test that theory. With another wince and hiss escaping through her teeth, she flinched her foot back upwards. No walking tonight indeed. "Or at least, I'll be better. This isn't too bad....just inconvenient."
Alba was happy to see Carter and Simon henshin down alongside her. The idea of a returning threat lingering in the shadows was all but a whisper in her ears, and she felt safer knowing that if the two of them, particularly Simon, were comfortable enough to be themselves, then she should as well. It was the first time since they've caught up with the lieutenants that she'd been able to fully relax, though her nerves shot up again as who she thought was Sailor Orion exclaimed her name in surprise.
She knew that voice. She wasn't sure how she didn't place the voice before, but now that the new senshi powered down with them, it was unmistakable. "Damian?!" Alba said in surprise, jerking her head up to see that indeed, it was the lonely boy from the library only a few weeks ago. She was suddenly very aware of the hand that was holding her up from her waist, and immediately regretted doing such a ridiculous move that got her into this situation in the first place.
Though credit had to be given to the flirtatious red-head: Alba had been expecting many things from Damian, and him kindly placing her under the sturdy care of Simon wasn't one of them. She allowed her hands to clasp around the lanky boy's neck to help with the newly distributed weight in his arms. She was flustered, and had her skin been any shade lighter it might have been even evident with the palest of blushes. "Um...thanks for helping."
She could kick herself for thinking even just a little bit that he'd take advantage of her.
"So..you too, huh?"
Alba: master conversationalist.

It was a bit of a relief to see that his teammates -- and this new person -- agreed with him. Negaverse: crazy, and in the scary way. Atlas finally powered down now that the coast was clear, probably giving Alba a scare as his arms jerked a bit at suddenly being forced to use normal human strength to carry her. He managed not to drop her, however, and instead just had to readjust a little to support her weight. As for her misplaced worries about taking advantage of her: he was none the wiser.
"I'm Simon," he said, after a moment of social reluctance. Now was probably the time for handshakes -- but now his hands were full with an injured passenger. "Sailor Atlas when I'm powered up. So... you know each other already? I guess that means I'm the odd one out."
Odd, how often friends and classmates turned out to be senshi. He was starting to wonder if that was just everyone in town who wasn't in the Negaverse.

"Well," Carter slowly ventured after Simon spoke, looking from Simon to Alba to Damian and back again. "The way I see it, since Damian just introduced himself that means you know him too, right? Besides!" The boy's face lit up with a grin as he clapped his hands, leaning forward slightly towards Damian. "Your attack was SO COOL! You also jumped through your own cardboard wall, man! You know how how many others do that? None! You've gotta join our team!"
"I mean," he began in a rush, "You're experienced. You held your own against those two that we fought against, and you worked well with us. Why not? We could use more firepower, and the more we have the easier it'll be to drive off those types, right? Right!"
