She swings her arm at one and embarassingly misses, but tries to pretend she meant to miss it.
One starts bouncing around her, and she tries again.

She couldn't believe she couldn't even catch the lazy one. But she was determined to catch the slow one, and figured if she can't catch that one, she won't be able to catch any of them.
