Character Name: Hoshiakari Seiza
Age: 25
Appearance: Hoshiakari Seiza wears a dark cloak usually with a skimpy outfit underneath it. Such attire has never been seen nor condoned on a holy woman before her reign. Her accessories include a cloth bag of her blades, pouches of her herbs necessary for rituals, and random rings on particular fingers.

Bio: She knew herself even before her conception. That is how she explains it to anyone who asks for the why of her current conditions and lifestyle. Of course, those people knew her before she accepted her fate. They knew her as the bubbly blonde who was born to one of the richest families in France at the time of her birth two hundred years ago. Due to the expansive estate, her naturally explorative and curious personality had enough room to be sated during her formative years. Her parents had tolerated her boisterous mannerisms for as long as they could before they felt the need to send her off to boarding school in England. She was only seven years old and it did not help anything in the way of settling her spirit. If anything, she became more attuned to the human psyche and without trying, she would have these fits and speak of things that such a young child should not know. Sometimes in a trance, she would talk to random students and teachers about deceased loved ones and future events as if they were common knowledge. Once in a while, she would be aware of what was happening, but that did not matter to the administrators. In their eyes, she was a public menace. It took a little over a year for her to be sent back home, but not even her family wanted her at this point. She was forced to live on the streets.

Seiza walked. Her childish eyes began to lose their knowing twinkle and it would be years before she felt any semblance of joy ever again. She learned quickly the art of deception so as to steal effectively for herself and any other person who looked like she did. She did not understand fully that she was poor, homeless, and flithy looking. She did not think that her appearance would cause people to treat her differently. She did not let it affect how she treated others with kindness and respect. Despite her conditions, her heart grew to espouse justice even if it was a skewed version that permitted the occasional theft. By the age of thirteen, she was known on the streets for her illusory skills. She had managed to keep the trances and blackouts to a minimum. They scared her. She dared not to lose more friends because of them. It was at this point that she ran into a local kook that had been one of the first astrologers of that time. She had attempted to steal a pocket watch from him and upon her failure, he smiled at her knowingly and invited her to travel with him. It was that smile that had influenced her acceptance of his offer the most. She thought that she used to smile like that, too.

Over the next two years, she left France and traveled to other exotic lands in which concepts of magic were actually real. She learned about other cultures and languages. With so much mental stimulation, her innate curiosity about the world in which she lived came alive eventually. She visited the lands of the Dark Elves, and India, and Japan. She learned even about the dying race of Dragons. Oh my gosh, that was an amazing experience for her. And during all of this, she studied under her mentor about the dark heavens. She became accustomed to navigation by way of the night sky because she knew each star, constellation, and galaxy by name and their legends. She learned how to read different paths by the positions and various colors of the stars. She was blessed with her own tools and charts as the older man was impressed continously by her affinity for his hobby. He was given the reason on her fifteenth birthday. On this date at midnight, she woke up with gnawing sensation in the pit of her stomach and a cold sweat. Within an hour, she was locked in a deep trance. Their location at the time was in uncharted territory where unknown villages and people lived a simple life off their surrounding fauna and foliage. It was to these people that the astrologer went for any form of help. He brought the eldest shaman to her side. He watched intently as the elderly female passed her hands over Seiza's motionless body. She did this for almost another hour before pulling her hands to her forehead, eyes closed.

"Who is this girl that you have brought to us?" the woman asked in a masculine voice. The man was taken aback by the altered voice, but answered all the same that he did not know her that well. He knew her only as his apprentice. She used to be a thief. The shaman nodded at this and in the blink of an eye, her right hand found itself on Seiza's throat and choking her. In a few seconds, Seiza was awake and stifling obviously. The woman did not remove her hand until Seiza did something that she had not allowed herself to do: cry. As the tears flowed, her throat was released and she was able to sit up at last. The old woman explained that Seiza was a Seer and a shaman. This was not known to her for most of her life so she was left unprotected to both benevolent and malevolent spirits alike. Unfortunately, the latter group would be more likely to hunt for unprotected vessels like Seiza. Without even asking a question, the elderly woman told the pair that Seiza is to come by her hut at the break of dawn for the beginning of her training as a shaman and a Seer. It was not long after this experience that the astrologer continued on his journey, leaving Seiza to realize her potential.

That was more than a hundred years ago. Since then, Seiza had taken over the position of Head Priestess in her village. After learning about her powers and the responsibility that came with them, she mediated for hours per day to know how to use them to the best of her ability for her people. During her extensive lifetime, she has never stopped learning about other people and how things work for them. She gained numerous hobbies including bladesmithing that led to her discovery of her ability to manipulate dark energy. While she formulated attacks and defenses, Seiza referred to herself as a Shaman Seer first and foremost.

Personality: Hoshiakari Seiza is a collected and strict person who is at complete peace with her being. Her work with nature and the universe is of the utmost importance to her. She does not allow herself to be overrun by her emotions in any situation and she takes the concept of balance between the our world and that of the dead very seriously. She is silent most of the time, very observant, and possesses a peaceful temperament. However, she has been known to bite when angered. However, that is very rare since she meditates briefly yet immediately whenever she feels that her inner peace is unbalanced. Due to her slow reaction to almost every situation, she is quite quick and stealthy in a physical battle. Also, her wit shows blatantly in a verbal squabble when she skips the meditation and needs to voice her opinion. Despite her belief in universal unity, she is not big on the notion of family and friends. Thus, she can be found on her own surrounded by the nearby forests and its creatures.

Special Power: Seiza is a shaman as well as a seasoned astrologist. It is this odd mix of talents and knowledge that is the foundation for her innate ability to manipulate dark energy through her body as well as the daisho, a set of a katana, a kodachi, and a tanto, that she carries with her at all times in a bag made of animal skin. The blades were constructed from ultra high carbon steel with sharp edges. The sword sheaths are sheet steel and the handles are heavy duty resin plastic, wrapped in blue braided material. She has learnt these abilities through much trial and error. Thus, she respects them to the point that she refrains from using them if it can be helped. A list of her abilities includes:


• Shikai: It is triggered by the command, Onegai (お願い, Wish) Upon release, the complete daisho set is held together and morphes into a silver-plated ultra-high carbon steel star wand. The entire wand is a very sharp and deadly tool that can hold its own against any blade. All of its edges and apexes are razor-sharp and acute to the point of cutting too easily. The shaft of the wand is the strongest part and can be used like the blade of a sword if necessary. The wand is quite resilient to damage and does not show any throughout a complete battle at times.
  
  
  • Shikai Special Ability: Toku (匿, Shield)
    Upon activation, Seiza's hands up to the wrists are covered in dark energy. This coating allows her to use the wand without fear of cutting herself with it. Also, it stops her from bleeding when cut by other blades and weaponry. When cut, she feels it like an actual injury but she does not bleed.
    
    
    • Andromeda (アンドロメダ, Andromeda)
      Type: Offensive/Verbal Callout/Activated
      By swirling her wand in a circular motion and pointing at a particular location, Seiza is able to conjure smaller versions of a blackhole at the tip of it or anywhere else that she desires except on living beings. Once created, an inward spiraling motion begins and it sucks in anything and everything indiscriminately. No matter the exact size, it holds the same amount of power throughout. Eventually, when she has more precise control over this ability, she would not have to swirl the wand, but to point it simply. With further training, more than one blackhole can be conjured simultaneously. An individual blackhole lasts for one post.
      
      
    • Eaponpu (エアポンプ, Air Pump)
      Type: Defensive/Mental Callout/Activated
      This technique allows Seiza to create a blob of dark energy at any size. This blob possesses nullification properties that counter any adverse and foreign alterations made to the surrounding air. Usually, she places the blob against her nose and mouth to breathe through it. If used in a more elaborate manner, a dome can be created to nullify the aforementioned effects within the covered area. Essentially, it cleanses the air.
      
      
    • Saidan (祭壇, Altar)
      Type: Defensive/Verbal Callout/Activated
      Seiza slams the base of the wand against the floor. A raging stream of dark energy travels at lightning speed from that point to meet the target. When it reaches the target, it raises off the floor and wraps itself around it continuously, tightening with every twist and turn until it crushes whatever is in its hold.
      
      
    • Hokubeidojin (北米土人, Native American)
      Type: Offensive/Verbal Callout/Activated
      This technique allows Seiza to bring any picture or part of one to life. Specifically, she touches the desired image with the star-shaped end of her wand. Dark energy radiates from it into the drawing and rips the picture away from its source. The surrounding dark energy seeps into the paper until the image becomes the dark energy equivalent of its real life counterpart in all aspects. This minion lasts for one post and can be used either to attack or to defend. More than one can be summoned by holding multiple picutres together one under the other. To makes this ability viable, Seiza carries hand drawn pictures with her at all times.



• Bankai: Hoshiakari Seimei (星明かり清明, Pure and Clear Starlight) Upon release, the original coloring of the daisho changes from blue to black. Also, her current attire becomes a blob of dark energy that morphes into a copy of her usual outfit.

• Bankai Special Ability: Kinkou (均衡, Balance) The dark coating of Toku (匿, Shield) covers her whole body and its characteristics remain the same. While she cannot be cut by her own weapon, others can injure her without her bleeding out.
  
  
  • Sankaku (三角, Triangle)
    Type: Offensive/Verbal Callout/Activated
    This technique requires Seiza to stab the nearest surface with the three swords in a triangular shape with her target at its centre. It has to be swift and without fault. Thankfully, once the third blade is in place, a raw energy passes through all three points before meeting to skewer whatever is within its shape. This is all very fast paced and Seiza cannot be caught within the triangle especially during the last phase because it is merciless and does not discriminate. Also, the triangle nullifies anyone's enhanced speed techniques.
    
    
  • Iteza (射手座, Sagittarius)
    Type: Offensive/No Callout/Activated
    This technique allows Seiza to create dense dark energy arrows that are compressed blackholes in reality. First, she holds two of her three blades where one acts as the bow and the other is considered the arrow. By passing the arrow along the blade of the "bow" perpendicularly, dark energy is emitted in the form of an arrow that shoots forward once the tip of the arrow blade leaves the bow. If the process is extended and done slowly, there will be more energy and power behind the arrow as opposed to if it was done quickly. Each arrow is a singular black hole. Once it passes through an object, an inward spiraling motion begins until the affected object ceases to begin. With more training, inverse blackholes will be possible. The arrow affects both living and non-living beings as well as that it can pass through almost anything. The size of the arrow permits the size of object that it can make spiral in on itself. For example, a quick and thin arrow is good for a humanoid target but will not be able to swallow a building.
    
    
  • Futagoza (双子座, Gemini)
    Type: Offensive/Defensive/Verbal Callout/Activated
    This technique allows Seiza to recreate an ability used by another person as long as she saw how it was executed originally. Usually, it is tainted by the fact that she is aligned with darkness and thus, they are darker in color.
    
    
  • Nenshouro (燃焼炉, Combustion Furnace)
    Type: Defensive/Verbal Callout/Activated
    Simply, Seiza is able to utilize dark energy from her body and release it into the world as she pleases. The potential formations include voids, blackholes, the shapes of other weapons but are not limited to them. There is a minority of techniques that is more defined than this.
    
    
    • Ohitsujiza (牡羊座, Aries)
      Type: Offensive/Verbal Callout/Activated
      When the name of the attack is stated, a cloud of dark dust surrounds Seiza in the articulate and definite shape of a charging Ram. Her hands ball up into fists where the horns are located. By jerking them forward, the dark energy Ram charges at the same time against the intended target. Upon impact, the Ram disappears and a monstrous and destructive force of dark energy is released to decimate the target head-on. However, it is very exhaustive and should be used sparingly. It can be used against other energy attacks as well.
      
      
    • Nomi (鑿, Chisel)
      Type: Offensive/Verbal Callout/Activated
      This is a very explosive technique. A five foot pole of compressed dark energy is formed and thrown at a particular target or point. Upon impact, the surrounding area is blown in an outward direction and the pole disappears. One of these can blow a hole in steel wall easily. The mechanics behind it is that it is an inverse blackhole so upon contact, instead of sucking the object in on itself, it blasts it away in an outward spiraling motion from the point of contact.
