You don't decide your rank. As I said before, if you get to be an Espada, you'll be number 5-9, so getting Quinta Espada is still a possibility. Don't get your hopes up though; it's up to me what rank you get, and I'm not too convinced so far.

My mistake.
Even so, just because you request a rank doesn't mean you will get it.
By the way, whining will only make me less willing to give you a higher rank.
Anyhow, you need to post a two paragraph, well-developed sample in the captain/Espada application forum. Just edit the sample you already posted. Sorry for asking you to once again change your sample. It's just that you need a really good sample in order to get that kind of rank.

Since gravity is too powerful of an ability for Novena, I'll have you be Ocatava for now. I might move you up to Septima depending on the other applicants. You won't need to nerf (weaken) any of your abilities. In fact, could you add one or two more gravity, based attacks? Gravity has a lot of different applications, so creativity is encouraged. Just make sure that they stay within your power range as number eight. Try something like what Memnoch suggested earlier with increasing or decreasing gravity. Maybe something like making a radius of a certain range where gravity is greatly increased.
