Not budging an inch, Foust just stood there with his arms hanging down at his sides. It looked like he was in a transe, but due to the merged ceros he was knocked unconscious while standing. The ceros had hit his back hard enough to do so. Foust stood in the same spot with his back all scared and burnt from a direct hit. His top clothes were all burnt up on the back, and the captain's robe was almost gone. A gust of wind blew by, and Foust's captain's robe was then captured by it and fell to the ground.
As Foust stood there unconscious, he started to dream. He dreamt of Australia safe and sound, and his squad was ok, too. His new family was having fun,but suddenly the dream transformed. It started to get dark, and the land started to break away into the dark. In the distance, you could see a hole opening up in the air. Hollows started to come through by the dozen, so Foust went to unsheath his zanpakuto. Unfortunately, Arana wasn't at his side, then he heard a scream and yell. He turned to Jake and Sayuri, and they were shouting as they faded away into the darkness. Foust started to run towards them, but it was useless. Once they were gone, Foust shouted, but it was useless. The hollows surrounded him, and started to talk. They were al saying the same thing,"You let them down. You couldn't save them or Australia. What kind of captain are you? Who lets their squad just go away like that? You are Pathetic."
This was only a dream, but Foust was still unconscious so he wasn't sure himself. He needed someone to wake him up soon. It wasn't like he wasn't capable of waking up, but if he was to help out now he needed help. There was only one person who could help him now, and ht was Sayuri.

"Captain...?" Sayuri said quietly to herself as she saw her captain standing still, his back to the confused Menos. Dear God! Please don't let him be hurt! She thought as she used shunpo to get to his side. As she grew near she could see his eyes half-closed and fogged over. Since he wasn't moving Sayuri knew that he was knocked unconcious by the merged ceros."C-captain! Wake up!!" she yelled as she shook her Captain. Seeing that he was still unconcious Sayuri began to cry. no...why? Why didn't I move faster? If I was just a little bit faster I could have prevented this from happining...
"Please wake up....." seeing no change Sayuri grabbed her captain around the waist and shunpoed him a small park a short distance away from the Menos. Enraged, the two Menos followed, but very slowly. Still cying, Sayuri placed her zanpakuto, Awaihiko, across her chest and yelled "Hae!" As her Captain began to heal in Awaihiko's light Sayuri bent down and carefully kissed her captain. She didn't know why she did, but it made her feel better to do so. Quietly she raised herself up and stood agressivly between the Menos and her Captain.

After being moved by his vice captain, and having her by his side trying to wake him, the dream changed. In an instant, the dream became full of light, and everything went away. Foust could hear someone crying, but didn't know who exactly. Listening closer, he realized it was Sayuri, and then he started to regain consciousness. Before he could fully wake up, Sayuri had kissed him. She had stood between the minos grande(s) and Foust, ready to protect him. She even had Foust being healed.
Foust's eyes shot open wide, and he began to get up. " Thank you Awaihiko, but I would rather you stop healing me now." Foust walked over to Sayuri as if he felt no pain what so ever. Once he got to her side, he said," Thank you for waking me up, and I am glad you are here." After what had happened, Foust had felt more much closer to his vice captain. This made Foust kind of speechless, because he didn't really know what to say to her.
He took a step forward, and his back was probably now visible to Sayuri. Awaihiko had not healed his wound entirely, since Foust told him not to. He could feel the pain on his back, but at this point, he didn't care. Foust did feel pain, just not from the wound. The pain came from Sayuri crying. Foust was sad on the inside, becuase he basically made her cry, and that was not good at all. "Please, forgive me for making you cry." Foust then turned his head to her with a smile,"I am ok thanks to you."
Turning back to the enemy, Foust's started to get serious. He shouted to the hollows," That was a knarly cero, but I bet it was a fluke. You can't hurt me with it again, even if you tried." Shouting hat made the minos enraged, so they prepared to fire, yet another cero at the same time. It shot out towards Foust blood red , and as powerful as the last. A smurk came across Foust's face as he held out both hands for the cero. The cero connected, and the outcome was different this time. When the cero finished, and the smoke cleared, Foust became visible not hurt at all. He started to raise his spirtual pressure to the highest it could go with the gentai kaijo. Since Foust was a captain, he was allowed more power than others with the gentai kaijo. His spiritual pressure rose to that of a newbie in bankai form, which was his the most he could do with the gentai kaijo not released yet. "Hey Sayuri, I don't think we need to release he gentai kaijo. Just look they are moving even slower now, or is it just me."

Even if I die, I won't let them through! Sayuri roared mentaly as tears rolled down her cheeks. Her captain laid on the grass, her zanpakuto healing him when she heard movement. Sayuri quickly turned around to see her captain waking up.
"Thank you Awaihiko, but I would rather you stop healing me now." her captain said to her spirit as he began to wake up. A pleasent form of shock filled Sayuri as Captain Foust stood up, but also sadness. Awaihiko, on her captain's orders, didn't heal him compleatly. Sayuri could tell that his back was bothering him, but she knew that if she offered to heal him compleatly he would reject it.
"Please, forgive me for making you cry,I am ok thanks to you." Captain Foust said, his head turned towards Sayuri. Sayuri suddenly had the urge to smile. I'm so glad he's alright! Smiling and crying Sayuri told her captain"Please don't say your sorry...I'm just so glad that your O.K."
After she finished Captain Foust turned his attention back towards the two Menos Grande. He taunted the already angry Menos untill they were seeing red. After roaring the Menos began charging another cero. Something was different this time. Captain Foust emmited a confident aura around him, which calmed Sayuri down. Even as the two ceros merged, Sayuri knew that this time the outcome would change. As the cero finished, and smoke cleared, Captain Foust appeared compleatly unhurt. While raising his spiritual pressure to the gentai kaijo's limits, Captain Foust told Sayuri"Hey Sayuri, I don't think we need to release he gentai kaijo. Just look they are moving even slower now, or is it just me." He was right. The two menos wern't even moving half the speed that they were when they first appeared.

Foust started to smile wide for he had a plan to demolish the minos. " Hey Sayuri, do me a favor and blind the minos with your light please, but stay behind me." Earlier, she wanted him to promise her they would fight as a team, and that was Foust's plan. There was only one word that came to Foust's mind, that could be the correct punishment for the minos. The captain started to laugh at the power difference between him, and the minos. They would have to multiple by a great number to mach him, let alone both him and his leiutenant.
"Yo minos, I have a the word of the day for you two. Guess what it is?" Foust was starting to annoy the minos, mainly because he knew they were as good as dead at the moment. Foust unsheathed his sword, and said," Bankai!" As soon as he said this one word, his reishi formed into lightning, and surrounded him. Suddenly, it flashed bright, and when the flash was over Foust was covered with a boney armor. His shikai weapons were at his side, and lightning was still around him.
He lifted his arms, and swung them back down to get rid of the lightning. " This is my bankai, Kuro Raikou Arana. Hey Sayuri, I am ready whenever you are." Foust felt he was now able to control the power of his bankai, especially after thinking about what Sayuri did to wake him up.

Jake watched as V-C Sayuri moved Captian over. It looked as if she leaned in towards him but he didnt see what she did. Jake also noticed that her spirit was healing Captain as Jake was healed earlier. Then Sayuri moved in front of captain ready to fight the menos grande(s). Jake had stopped crying he knew that everything would be ok. Jake became very glad when his captain stood up and was ready to fight. Jake did notice however that captains back was still very damaged.
The menos grande(s) shot another cero at Captain but this one was blood red. This one seemed very weak though because Captain blocked them very easly. Jake could tell that these horrible creatures were moving much slower for some strange reason. Jake saw as captain released his bankai. He stared in complete aw as his superior was coverd in some strange armor. Jake then yelled as loud as he could making sure V-C Sayuri and Captian Foust could hear him "You are my new family and i know you will win because we are Squad thirteen and you will protect our way of life with all your power" After yelling thisJake had become scared happy mad and sad all at once. His emotions were getting the best of him. If this went on much longer he just might not be able to control himself and try to help in the fight like an idiot. There was one thing that helped him keep his mind right, "My new found family" Jake said aloud just to reassure himself.

"It would be my pleasure, Captain!" Sayrui said happilily, a thankfull smile across her lips. Carefully and elegantly Sayuri raised her zanpakuto, Awaihiko. "Ready Captain? This will only last a second!" she said as she dimmed her zanpakuto's light down and concentrated it. Suddenly light quickly burst from the sword. Those who had not covered thier eyes would be temporally blinded from the sudden burst of light.
As the Menos screamed in pain and covered their eyes, Sayuri's Captain laughed. Thats the Captain I know! Sayuri practically sang in her head as she looked down at her gleaming zanpakuto. Carefull, Sayuri! The fight isn't over yet! Judging from your captain, I'd say your in for a good fight~! Awaihiko chimed in. When Sayuri looked up she saw her Captain suddenly become surrounded by a bright light and when the light faded he wore a strange type of armor and was surrounded by lightning. "This is my bankai, Kuro Raikou Arana. Hey Sayuri, I am ready whenever you are." he said as he raised his arms and swung them down to rid himself of the lightning. Quoting her zanpakuto Sayuri mearly replied"I was born ready!"

Seeing that the Menos were blinded, Foust used flash step to appear in front of the one on th left. He pulled out his dual swords, and began to rapidly attack the overgrown hollow. Foust thrusted his swords at the hollow's face multiple times. Each thrust was so fast that it remained hard to see with the average set of eyes. As he continued to thrust, he had shouted," Shocker barrage." Of course this was the name of his attack, and was also rather stronge. Foust thrusted one final time, and left his sword in the hollow's face. This was his twenty-seventh thrust, and the menos's face was all messed up. With Arana's left blade still stuck in the hollow's face, Foust says,"Bolt." Instantly, a red lightning bolt, show out of the back of the menos's head, and it started to disenagrate into nothing.
Using flash step again, Foust got to the other menos's feet. Smiling, he swung his left sword downward into he hollow's foot. It goes straight through, and stabs into he ground, making the hollow incapable of walking away. The electricity was still going up and down the gap in the blade as it stayed staped into the ground through the hollow's foot. This made the foot emoblized, and totally useless.
The hollow began to get angry, and charged it's cero, thinking it was actually powerful against the captain. Foust chuckled as he flash steped under the hollows jaw, and thrusted his remaining sword into the jaw of the giant being. Doing this clamped the menos's mouth shut, and stopped he charing cero. Foust stodd there in mid air lauhing like crazy at his work. The menos grande could not walk, or shoot a cero. He was now completely screwed. Foust stopped laughing, and hopped down to Sayuri," Tha ones all yours. Deal with him as you please." Foust kept his promise, and worked as a team with his vice capatain just as planned.

Sayuri watched her captain make short work of the first Menos. The huge hollow couldn't take the captain's barrage of thrusts and at last died when Captain Foust left his zanpakuto in it's face and sent a red lightning bolt sailing through it's head.
As soon as the first hollow began to move to the Soul Society, Sayuri's Captain flash stepped onto the remaining Menos's feet. He grinned ear-to-ear as he swung his zanpakuto down into the hollow's foot. Captain Foust's thrust contained enough power to send the sword through the foot and into the hard ground under the Menos. As the hollow became enraged, it began to charge a cero. Laughing, Captain Foust thrust his zanpakuto through it's jaw, clamping it shut and rendering the hollow useless. Suddenly Sayuri's Captain jumped down and told Sayuri "That ones all yours. Deal with him as you please."
"Thank you, Captain!"Sayuri said in her musical voice. With her zanpakuto unsealed Sayuri wanted to finish this quickly. Once again Sayuri dimmed her sword's light as she shunpoed above the Menos. Lets finish this! Happily. Sayuri then raised her zanpakuto and swung her sword down. As the blade of light rushed forward Sayuri releaced the concentrated light, resulting in a blade at least two times larger than the one she had used earilier on the small hollow.
The massive blade of light cleanly cut of the Menos's head. As the hollow began to disolve Sayuri ran over to her Captain. When she was about ten feet away she jumped up and tackled her Captain as tears streamed her face. "I-i'm just so happy...that your alright! Please, Captain! Please don't do anything like that again..." Sayuri begged. If he ever gets hurt like that again....I don't know what I'll do...

Foust was impressed as his vice captain demolished the handicaped hollow. She defeated it as planned, and with beauty. As the menos started to vanish, Arana's swords fell to the ground. With the battle over, Foust's bankai form started to disappear. The armor vanished into thin air, and the dual swords became one serated sword again. Foust was happy for Sayuri, and started to realize he did have more feelings for her. This made him nervous, because he didn't know how to go about telling her. He figured he would at some point in time.
Unexpectedly, Sayuri jumped and tackled Foust giving him a hug. Noticing she was all teary, Foust wrapped his arms around her while blushing. "I am so sorry that I worried you. Please forgive me." Foust was sorry, but he felt that it was his duty to do those reckless stunts. If he didn't jump in front of Jake at that time, then the kid would be dead. Foust didn't want to sadden Sayuri, but he knew he would throw his body away to save the life of someone else.

Sayuri looked up at her Captain's blushing face and lightly smiled. She knew that he was sorry, but he would do it again if it was too save another shinigami. After a minute Sayuri let go of her captain and used shunpo to go get Jake, who was on a nearby tower.
"Come on Jake-kun." she said in a strange mix of happness and sorrow as she once again grabed the unseated member around his waist and shunpoed towards the small park where her captain was. Even if I don't like the thought of him getting hurt, I understand why he did it. If I could, I would have done the same thing... When Sayuri and Jake touched ground, Sayuri, who had stabbed an angry Awaihiko into the ground when she tackled her captain, picked up her zanpakuto, went over to her captain, and said "Hae!" As her voice echoed around the empty park, her Captain's wounds finished healing.

As his vice captain went and fetched Jake, Foust ran over to his zanpakuto, that was still on he ground. Picking her up, she said," I was right about her, and you know it. You can't deny it Foust." He shook his head yes." Arana, I get it, you were right and I was wrong, ok. Please, don't rub it in." After walking back to where he was, he awaited the arrival of his Squad. Once they returned, Foust said," Let's go hom..." He was interupted by Sayuri, because she wanted to heal his injuries. "You don't need to heal, I am fine." For some reason, Foust knew telling her that wouldn't make her stop, so he piped down. Being healed always felt weird to Foust, because he still wasn't used to it. Usually, he would just let his wounds heal naturally, but he knew Sayuri would probably scold him if he didn't let her heal him.

Smiling, Sayuri and a now calm Awaihiko finished healing Captain Foust's back wounds. Now and then Sayuri's captain shifted uncomfortably, sugesting the fact that he wasn't used to being healed."Your all healed, Captain" Sayuri said happily as she sealed her zanpakuto and put it back into it's saya. Uncomfortable with the silence, Sayuri took a few steps towards a lightpost and smiled towards the fading stars. Awaihiko, what do you think of Captain Foust? She asked her zanpakuto spirit. Hrmm? Well...I think he's a nice and trustworthy man. Hehehe.....I know why your asking me! Your -----Don't say anything or I'll leave you in the pond! yelled Sayuri in her head. Anyone who was looking at Sayuri could easily see that she was blushing bright red as she tried to concentrate on the rising sun.

Jake was tired and was ready to go home by the time battle ended. This giant tower was really starting to freak him out. Jake saw Sayuri tackle Captain Foust and thought to himself, "My superiours sure a strange bunch." He awatied his V-C as she shunpoed towards him. She then said "Come on Jake-kun." to which he replied "Yes maam" He was then gentely set down after being grabbed by the waist. Jake was very imbarressed about this.
Jake just watched as Captain grabbed his sword and as V-C grabbed hers and healed Foust with it. Jake was just glad that everyone was okay. Jake then said aloud "I dont feel to good i think i need to lay down" Jake almost threw up. "Captain... Thank you for saving me" Jake layed down on the ground because he was very nacious. "Can we leave soon that height made me feel horible...please and thank you"

Along with Sayuri, Foust was blushing too. Noticing the sun rise, Foust walked over to her. Before he said anything, Arana decided to speak. " You should... " Interupting her, Foust said," Now befoer you finish your comment, remember that I can throw you down a cliff with no regret what so ever." " I'm going to shut up now. " Foust was playing around with Arana though, so she knew he didn't mean what he said.
Standing next to Sayuri,"It's nice isn't it. The sun rise is as beautiful as the moon at night, but they don't compare to your beauty." As soon as Foust was done giving her the lovely compliment, he tried to change the subject. He wanted to tell her that, so he did, but it was hard for him to do. He was embarrassed, but didn't care. Showing his true feelings, was something he wanted to do at the time. "Well, dude and dudette, let's start heading back home." Foust then summoned the senkaimon, and walked towards it while it opened. "Home here we come."
