Scanning the forcefield, he noticed a possible weakness. One of the generators had destabilized to the point where a directed energy blast might be enough to overload it and the entire system. "Stand back" he said, drawling his weapon.
He fired. The orange beam struck a normal looking boulder in the upper corner. After a few seconds of exposure, the boulder shimmered until an emitter of some kind appeared in its place, before exploding. A ripple-effect seemed travel through the rock face. The rock face then vanished. Beyond where the rock face was was a small chamber with small box at far end.
Holstering his weapon, Justin and the others approached the container. Gathering around it, Justin eagerly opened it. "Wow" he said in amazement.
Neatly stored inside where five unusually shaped palm sized devices. Mostly black in color, but each had a different colored "handle" and display face. Justin picked up the blue handled one... looking it over in wonder. It seemed to vibrate in his open palm. An unsual feeling went through Justin, but he ignored it as being just excitement.
