Lenon started to studder out some kind of coherent reply, but the dragon's preemptive attack stopped him short. He pressed himself against the wall even harder, as if he could morph into it. He stared strangely as the man licked his bat, and then his eyes flickered back to the dragon. "I...I think it followed me back from t-the mountain...." He managed to get out. His fingers began tapping the wall silently in agitation that he was stuck in here with a dragon and some crazy person who simply stood there. He would have rolled his eyes if he wasn't scared as he was.

Lenon blanched. "T-the <********> I'm going to settle that thing down!" He hissed through clenched teeth at the man with the bat. "I still don't know if it wants to eat me or something equally as gruesome!" Had this been a normal day, Lenon would have thrown his hands up in the air and stormed out of the room, but there still was a dragon in the room. He watched it in the corner of his eye to be sure that it wouldn't flip at his display of anger and take him as a threat.

Lenon sighed, his hands pressed back up against the wall. He looked around again, but for no other reason than to find an escape route if the dragon did feel like snacking on him. Finding several, he decided it was time. Hesitantly, he took a first step off of the wall and toward the dragon. He took slow, small steps that he hoped wouldn't seem like he was going to harass it. His chest heaved up and down with his deep breaths, made to calm himself, and he continued onward toward the dragon. "Eh..." He sighed in frustration. Getting down on his hands and knees about seven feet from the dragon, he hunched over to try and make some kind of eye contact.
