Mink smiled and took the empty tray away back to the kitchen.
Nightfall looked around her room still not beliving it was hers. She looked back as the doors opened again and mink walked back in holding a couple of blankets.
"Well Night theres still lots of time for us to go shopping if you want to come." Mink said putting one of the blankets on Jimbo and doing it up. Nightfall nodded and minkey smiled.
"well pick whitch blanket you want. It's quight cold out so you'll have to wear one."
Mink held up a selection of blankets after a quick dession Night pulled out a nice purple leopard print one.
After a quick fitting all three were hedding off too town
((Note: I'm not taking Loki with us Ferret is looking after him as he's asleep and we dont want to wake him.))

Mink smiled at the stall owners as they walked around the market. Stopping and chatted happly with a few of them.
"Well nightfall we got all the much need shopping earlyer so this is just for fun. ok. If you see something you like just give me nudge and i'l get it for you ok?"
"Dose that mean i can get somethings aswell?" Jimbo said trying to smile cutely.
"we can get somthing for loki aswell."
"ok if we have to." mink jokingly sighed "But this is nightfall's Shopping Trip remember that. she makes the dissions."
Nightfall smiled happly as they walked around the market she didn't know what she was ment to be looking for but it was fun being out with Mink and Jimbo. and with her blanket she felt lovely and warm.
As she rounded one stall her leg nocked something. Looking down she saw a little goat that had been chewing on the cloth of the stall.
As she walked away she heard something move behind her. Turnig she saw the little goat following her. "shoo shoo now" Nightfall said waving her head at the little thing trying to get it to go back. but to no avail.
Soon she heard someone shouting and saw a woman running after the goat who hid behind Nightfalls legs.
Mink turned when she heard someone shut and saw the goat dart between Nightfalls legs. Whan the woman reached nightfall she started shouting at her.
"Can i help you?" mink said in a Raised Voice to get the womans attention.
The woman then turned on mink.
"This one here has stolen My goat. i saw her walking away with it." The woman made a grab for the rope around the goats neck but missed as it ran under night fall.
"thats not true. it just followed me. i kicked it as i came around the corner and it just followed." night protested as she tried to move out of the way but the goat and woman were making it impossable
Mink smiled at nightfall and nodded. "well by the looks of it he chewed his way through the rope." mink said grabing the end of the rope. and winced as it was still wet.
"Well give it back to me" The woman said making a grab for the rope.
"how much do you want for him?" mink said suddenly which stoped the women in her tracks and made Nightfall's eyes light up.
"what you want that scrawny little thing?" the woman said putting her hands on her hips
"Yes. i was looking for a few grazing animals for my farm. This Goat would be perfect."

The old lady looked shocked at Minks out burst "Well She is My only Nanny Goat. So how about 1000g for her."
Nightfall took a step back wondering if mink would pay such a high price.
Mink scratched her chin thinking for a second " 500g"
"900"
"600"
"700 last offer"
"650 my last offer"
"Done." the old woman said shaking hands with mink.
After Mink handed her the money the old lady walked off chuckling
Mink smiled and turned back to the little goat who was still hiding under nightfall.
kneeling down she looked at the goat "so little one do you have a name?"
Night looked down at the goat nudging her forward slightly "dont worry she's nice." Night reasured the goat smiling.
the goat's head droped slightly as she shook her head.
"Well i'll call you Tallow. do you like that?" night said nuzzling the goat again to chear her up. The Goat smiled and Bleated happly skipping around.
Mink smiled and fussed nightfall and Tallow "Well Night looks like you've got your first pet."
Mink quickly removed the rope for Tallows neck and sighed softly as she saw the red marks it had left from being to tight.
After a quick trip round the found nothing more of intrest on the way back home mink did stop in at a farm that had a notice up saying livestock for sale.
After about half an hour mink walked out of the farm shaking hands with the farmer.
"what was that about?" Jimbo asked munching on a carrot from the shopping
"well i said i was looking for some grazing animals. He's delivering 50 Sheep, 2rams, 25 cows, a bull and about 10 kids. 2 male 8 female." Mink said happly almost skipping down the drive. "ohh and some chickens, a rooster and a few game birds"
"why are you getting so many? this close to winter? we wont have enough food stored for them to keep all winter." Jimbo said dropping the carrot. which Tallow quickly gobbled up.
"Dont worry Jimbo theres enough food in the Spring Field." mink frowned at the weird looks Jimbo and night were giving her. Then it clicked
"oh wait you hvent been to the Spring Field yet have you? Well i'll Tell you as we walk." mink said walking off in front.
Nightfall, Jimbo and Tallow followed closly behind mink listening.
"Well i know Jimbo wonders why my winter home is so far from the town and My farm consists of Forrests and my two main fields for planting.
Well Along time ago when i had just left home. i Wandered round trying to find the best place to live. It was winter and there was a bitter Blizzard i wandered up the side of the Mountins that we currently live behind. Thats when i found the SpringField and a large herd of cattle.
It was lush and green and warm there was no sigyns of the blizzard anywhere. I quickly warmed up and was soon full as i ate the rabbits and other small rodents...
Dont make that face Jimbo you know i hunt rodents and small animals.
As i was saying I was happy here and though i didn't know who owned the cattle i protected them from the larger predators. like wolves and mountain lions.
The owner Found me in the spring when She came to get her cattle.
I was busy fighting with a wolf who had tried to take a calf that had been born the day before.
As a Thank you for saving her cattle she left me the Deed to her farm and Spring Field. Well i didn't think much of it then and went on my way.
The same year i got You Jimbo i recived a letter saying that the old lady had passed on and i had inherated all her land and cattle."
Mink stoped as she reached the Driveway to the house.
"but we dont have any Cattle." Jimbo said looking at the empty Fields and old abandoned Barn.
Mink smiled and taped his nose. "just because you cant see them dosent meen there not here. As it was a Very hot summer they were kept in Spring Fields all year. We can go up there tonight after dinner if you want or we can go up tomorrow morning and spend the day there."
"well if we wait till tomorrow we can take the others up with us" Nightfall said moving beside mink.
"Good Idea NightFall" Mink Said hugging her neck. "i'll still have to go up tonight to get My Foxies her to help with the move. and Possibly Sasha."
mink wandered into the house muttering about dinner and moving the others to The Spring fields.

Mink rushed around trying to get every one orgonised so that when the Farmer arived with the Live Stock.
Sandy and Fang had both arived to help with the move and were staying inside the inner garden.
Mink jumped slightly as she heard Loki Squeak and ran to the inside worried somthing was wrong.
Loki smiled and squealed happly swinging from Fang's massive jaws.
"FANGNEED! What are you doing!?" mink called across the garden walking over to them.
Fang carfully put Loki down and placed a paw gently on him as he tried to crawl away. " He was crawling towards the pond so i picked him up. He climbed out of his play pen."
Minkey looked towards the play pen and noticed she hadn't pulled the lid over.
when Loki gurgled again she saw he was climbing onto Fangs back and poking his wings. But what shocked her more was Fang Was Smiling, Fang never smiled.
"you know he's Kinda cute" Fang Said dropping one of his wing so loki rolled half way down his wing before rolling him back.
Loki giggled and hugged Fangs back.
"Hey Fang can you keep an eye on hime till we start out? I'm still getting things ready" mink asked watching them play.
Fang looked at Loki then mink "Ok but you owe me"
"Well your the only one tough enough to cope with his claws" mink said holding up her bandaged arms.
Mink left them to play as she heard the sound of a car horn. The Farmer had Arived.
After an hour unloading the Live Stock into the Main Feild , and Saying her thank you's the the Farmer and his Friends who had helped, Mink and the band were Ready to set out.
"Ok Guys Time to herd the to Spring Field. We leave int five mins ok?"
Mink walked into the innergarden to get Jimbo,Nightfall,Fang,Sandy and Loki.
Nightfall yawned and rolled over onto her front. Getting up slowly she noticed she still had her blanket on from the day before.
Feeling alittle hot now she reached under to undo the strap that held it in place.
A few Failed attempts and she let out a sigh she just couldn't undo the Strap.
There was a knock at the door and She trotted to anwser it.
Mink smiled as Nightfall opened her door. when she saw her still in her blanket she chuckled remembering how excited Jimbo and night had been.
~She must of forgoten to take it off~ "here Let me take that off Night we wont need it at Spring feilds" Mink said pulling at the Strap letting the blanket fall away. As the blanket fell away the color didn't.
Mink sighed and picked up a brush trying to brush the color off of her coat but it wasnt working. ~hummm it might come out in a bath later~ mink thought putting the brush down.
"Well have some breakfast and i'll send Jimbo to get you when were leaving"
Nightfall looked at her once grey coat her hind quaters were now a light purple color
Jimbo Smiled At Mink as she left Nightfalls Room. "Morning Mink. When are we leaving?"
Mink smiled back as she picked up loki and placed him in a special Baby carrier she had made. "Morning J. We leave in a few minutes get ready. Oh and You Stay With Nightfall Today No matter What."
With that Mink Left through the Side door leading into the Feild.
Jimbo nodded and trotted towards Nights room. Seeing the door was open he called out "Morning Sis mind if i come in?"
His reply was the sound of a sniffle. Jimbo walked into the room and found Night hiding under a pile of pillows.
"Hey sis whats up?" He asked sitting besid her nuzzling her gently.
Night sniffled and moved out of the Pillows so Jimbo could see her. "The Blanket turned me purple." she sobbed. tears running down her face
Jimbo nuzzled her "what the problem? Dont you like Purple?"
night looked at jimbo then back to herself. "no i like purple. But Minks going to get rid of me now."
This confused Jimbo slightly "Why would she do that? Your My Little Sister and your Not Going any where you dont want to." Jimbo said getting up and nuzzling her gently.
"But i'm not grey any more." night said clearly. Her tears stopping and her sniffles dying down
"And. I'm not grey anymore and She Loves me. Here come with me and i'll show you something." jimbo said nudging her towards the door. Night Followed as they left her room and entered Jimbo's.
After looking through two shelves Jimbo pulled a large red folder from the top and put it onto the table.
Night moved closer to see as Jimbo opened it to the first page. "Who s this?"
Jimbo chuckled slightly "Thats me the first time i met mink. I was Just Like you grey and i loved it i was so proud to be grey. I hated it when i changed"
Night looked at Jimbo red and brown pattened coat, purple mane and tail and his Yellow Stars "but you look so cool. why didn't you like it?"
Jimbo turned the next page tht showed him with his purple mane and tail. "well i had the same thoughts as you. That mink would get rid of me. But she told me..."
"It dosent matter what you are on the outside. it's whats inside that counts." Both turned to see mink standing at the door with Loki in the carrier on her back

Nightfall gasped as she saw the lagre heard in front of her All the larger animals had been made into one large heard of 88 while two large Lion-like dogs were pulling two waggons with the 22 birds in cages.
"Now you two. your bringing up the rear you have to stay behind the group and help herd them forward. I'm Going to be one of the leads so i'll be up the front."
Mink said ruffling Nightfall's mane gently "you be carfull and i'll see you at the top." Kissing he lightly on the forhead she turned to Jimbo
"Now you take care of your little Sis ok." Jimbo lowered his head and Mink kissed him aswell before morphing slightly and moving to the front of the heard.
Within minutes the herd was moving.
After a few tried to escape things moved smoothly as the herd ambled along the trail.
"Come one whats the matter?" Jimbo said turning to Nightfall who kept looking over her shoulder.
"well..em i was wondering. What are the things pulling the wagons?" Night blurted out in a quiet voice so they wouldn't hear her.
Jimbo looked back at the two waggons behind them. "Oh There Nikko's. Minks had them for ages. Mostly they Live up in the woods watching the border of Mink's Land.
The to pulling the Waggons are the oldest of them. The Light Blue one With the Dark Wing is Jareth.
The White one with the Fairy wings is Sasha. Both of them are Very Strong because of there wings."
Jimbo stoped and darted out to drive a few sheep back into the main group.
Night pondered on what he had just said. "How dose having wings make them strong?" She asked when Jimbo returned.
"well they are quight heavy and when you have to fly you must lift your whole body from he floor.
To do that they need to be strong which means they are heaver so you need to have mussles to lift them.
It's a brutle cycle to get it right but after a while you get the Ballance right." Came a soft voice behind them.
Nightfall tuned to see that sasha was closer then before. Then she relised that jareth was behinder sasha's waggon.She hadden't noticed the path getting smaller.
"dont worry the path gets wider in a second were almost there." Sasha said happly "ohhh i can feel myself getting warmer already."
Night hadn't noticed it before but it was getting warmer. as they rounded the bend she gasped the were now standing before a large crack in the side of the mountain. Carfully they herded the last few through.
Night had noticed that th Nikkos wernt in the least bit worried about walking through the long tunnle.

Nightfall was sure it was getting warmer as they walked through as it started to get brighter she gasped again looking round every where was green.
Looking over at jimbo she saw that he had the same expression
Mink giggled softly as she watched her two changlings look around. She thought back to when she had found the place her self her expression had been the same.
Jimbo looked around at the animals apart from the animals they had brought there was a large heard of cattle all ready there.
"I wonder how many there are now?" he mused out loud

"at last count there was 257. so with the ones we brought up today theres 357" Sasha said pulling her cart towards a building just to the left of the entrance.
Nightfall wondered how Sasha knew the numbers of the top of her head. but she soon forgot about it as she looked around.
"so what you think guys?" mink said padding up to them slowly changing back into her human form.
Nightfall was still a little weired out by the fact that mink could change shape but she noticed that Jimbo didn't mind at all.
~probally used to it i guess~
Looking around again she anwsered "It's so big. I bet it would take all day to get from one side to the other"
"a Day and a half. Or four days if you go around the outside." mink said with a chuckle as she remembered doing it herself long ago.
"Can we go play for a bit?" Jimbo asked as mink closed the gate behind them.
"sure. but be carfull of old Brund. He's the Alpa bull up here. You cant miss him he has two massive horns that curl at the top." mink said going to unload the waggons

Mink smiled as she watched them run off across the feild
"Well at least i have you to share my lunch with" Mink said smiling to the happy bundle still on her back.
Loki turned his head slightly and tuged on minks hair gently gurgling happly.
Mink smiled to herself as she set down the blanket and basket in the litte walled garden near the cottage.
Gently she untied the straps and took Loki from her back.
Loki tryed to grasped the hair tighter as he felt himself move away from minks back but it sliped from his hand. For a second he couldn't see or feel anyone just an open grass feild. Trying to swing aound he found it was very hard to move and suddenly he felt as if he had been left alone.
For aslong as he could remember there had always been somone with him or near him. He didn't like this feeling and he started to whimper.
Suddenly he felt himself being lifted up and the restraints falling away.
Then a soft voice he knew talking to him.
"Hey now big man why the tears?" mink said undoing the last clip on the
baby carrier and pulling Loki free she held him close stroking his head genlty.
Loki snuggled into this person. He knew the smell. He remembered it. He knew that when this person was near he was safe. This was his Mother.
She wouldn't leave him.
Minkly rocked back and forth gently stroking Loki's back
It started of by soflty humming but soon mink was singing softly.
The same song her mother had sung to her and her sisters.

As mink finished she stoped rocking and saw , the same as with her sister and her, Loki had fallen asleep.
" Sleep well my little one." she whispered softly kissing his temple.

Jimbo smiled happly as he ran into the water only moments ahead of nightfall " Told you i would beat you." he chuckled happly before turning to get out. Although he liked the warm water he didn't like getting wet. getting up on solid ground he shook the excess water from his coat.
Nightfall followed soon after shaking her tail to get it dry."well after that i'm hungry."
Looking around she caught sight of a tree covered with diffrent fruits.
"Wow they look tasty" Night said troting over and trying to grab one with her teeth.
Jimbo looked up as he saw night try and grab one of the fruits but somthing was bugging him at the back of his mind. Somthing wasn't right.
" hey night lets head back to the picnic. Mink said there would be fresh Apple tarts, Strawberries and cream. and ice cream. you dont want to spoil your appitite"
Nightfall looked at jimbo then back to the tree. suddenly they didn't look that good. "Ok wait for me then" night said trotting over to where jimbo was waiting.
Watching silently from a distance the figure glared at the stallion if he was going to get the foal he would have to split them up.
chuckling to him self he turned and disipered into the shadows.

Minkey smiled as Jimbo and Night came back over the hill.
Mink waved to get there attention as they came charging down towards her.
Jimbo smiled happly the nagging feeling he had in the back of his mind was gone. ~I'll talk to mink about it later~ he thought as he saw her wave.
"Hey night race you down." he chuckled racing down the hill.
"you on" Nightfall chuckled catching up to him and passing him. "Try to keep up Big Brother" Night called over her shoulder as they neared the fenced garden
Minkey smile droped slightly as she watched Night and Jimbo speed up as they neared the fence.
~Oh no ~ mink thought looking round for Loki.
Loki sat next to the fence watching His two sibling race towards him.
This was great fun. He was alone now every one was rushing to meet him.
He gurrgled happly clapping his hands as they thundered nearer.
hearing him clap Mink turned her head and turned white as she saw Loki was sitting right in the path of Nightfall and Jimbo.
Quick as possible mink shifted into her wolf form and darted forward grabing loki by his coat and rolling out of the way of flying hoves

Nightfall speed up passing Jimbo with a laugh and leaping over the fence "Come on old man" she called over her shoulder as she cleared the fence with amaising hight.
Jimbo laughed as he sored over the fence landing a few seconds after night. " carefull who you call Old"
Both chuckled happly talking and Joking unaware of the danger there game had put Loki and Mink in.
Minkey cradled loki gently soothing him she was still half wolf as changing back was painfull after changing so quickly.
Although she had an almost human figure back she still had the face, ears and tail from her wolf form. also her hands still had the pads and fur covered her body.
Loki's eyes were big as anything one moment he had been sitting watching his brother and sister race towards him the next he was bing pulled ruffly to the side by a large beast that smelt like mom.
Tears started falling as he let out a few guiet sobs hugging the figuer tightly.
Turning at the sound of the sobs Jimbo saw mink sitting calming Loki.
His smile faded as he saw the form she was in. He started to mave forward when hi hoof knocked somthing looking down he saw Loki's rattle right in the middle of there hoofprints.
Nightfall had alomst the same look on her face as she realised what they had almost done.
Her knees shook and she slumped to the ground as her mind raced.
Minkey turned towards Jimbo and Night who wew standing waiting.
Rage and anger clouded minks thoughts as she moved towards the two Loki hugged closly to her.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW DANGERIOUS THAT IS!?" she shouted ((Not typing it all in caps but minks still shouting)) "The fence is there for a reason. To keep Loki safe. Having you two racing to see who can cear it first is beyond stupid." Loki shifted in her arms as mink shouted.
"You almost trampled him with you stupid little game. Both of you get no treats for two weeks and no picnic today." Mink calmed down slightly and lowered her voice but the anger was still present.
"Nightfall. You Go wait by the Main Gate Till we go home. And think about what you've done. also your banned for leaving you Stall when we get home for one week " Mink said pointing towards the opening in the rock face.
"Jimbo you come with me." She said walking towards the cottage at the end of the garden.
Jimbo hung his head and nodded not wanting to speak. Mink had never been so angry before she had shouted at him before once. But nothing like this. Hew wolf face made her look even more frightening.
Slowly he started walking behind them looking over his shoulder to watch night fall walk the other way.
Nightfall was shaking as she walked towards the gate. Mink had been frightening her words echoed through her mind as she stood by the gate watching Jimbo and mink walk towards the cottage.
~Why is he getting off so lightly~
Nightfall jumped slightly where had that though com from.
~I did nothing wrong we were only having fun~
~yeah Whats wrong with that~
~It was his idea. why should i be punished for it~
~Right It's all Jimbos falt not mine. Why should i be punished~
~Mabey she likes him better then me~
Nightfall gasped she didn't know where these thoughts were coming from but they were starting to make sence.
~mabey she dose like him better~
~You should be with someone who believes in you~
Nightfall though for a second ~I cant leave mink. She took me in when i was alone. They might send me to somone else~
~Why not runaway. You can be free then~
~where would i go~
~Follow the river~
Nightfall looked towards the cottage and watched as Jimbo walked around the side with mink. He wasn't being punished at all.
~They dont love me.~ night thought as she turned from the gate and ran towards the river.
An Eerie laugh filled the air. "Soon little one you will join me." with a russle of his tattered wings the dark figure moved back towards the river.

Another Note :
Sorry guys sadly somthing fell through with my plans. And i had to sort more stuff out.
It means i'm doing more hours at work and what little time i have to myself is working to keep the house clean ^^
When thats done thought i am free to post here. Which i will.
That means mostly My posts will be in BIG blocks as i can write things up while at work just not get them on here.
I will be back just not as active as i want to be for a while heart
