I know where you are coming from but still making an OC you have restrictions but within those restrictions you can make a character that is unique, also just cause you change the plot or what is happening you are still restricted to do what they would do other wise it might cause problems and still there is no fun just extending the story of the show or manga if you are restricted to do what that character would do. But even if he makes Canon characters you will not get their actual powers so what would be the point of RPing as a Canon, if you can't use their abilities?

I'm not talking for myself. You would have to ask the others that.
However, If I wanted to RP a cannon character- just being able to play their personality would be enough for me. It would be interesting to play Edward who uses crystals- or a Roy who uses liquid.
In all, even a Cannon character is an OC. At one point in time, even Edward was just an Original Character, thought up by Arakawa. Aren't they unique characters?
And on a side note, I've had plenty of fun 'extending' an anime, as I have played a Main cannon once, so I'm sorry if I fail to see how it's no fun. :/ I don't think you should speak for everyone. It can be fun for others, and even the OCs in the RP thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm not ******** around any more I'm going to make an rp the way I want to make it if you don’t like the plot you don’t have to join. I'm not going to argue in this thread any longer. I have enough aggravation in my personal life I dont need it comeing from gaia.

It's hard to beleive such a thread caused this big chaos..I just think that since this is just one of many Rp guilds it should be able to stick to its own rules without complaint,besides,to all those who deny this fact,it's your own d**m fault for joining a guild/forum after reading the rules and still refuse to co-opperate in the first place.If you don't agree to this ones rules just join another or make your own.Simple as that.
I also think that some people should be able to play a bit of a canon character,for if there are no contributing characters in the story itself it could cause the plot to get out of line.
If you do not agree with this then please answer and atleast,I beg of you,try and settle it in a dignified manner,this not only causes stress for the creator,but the people who have to read this crud themselves.So please,join and stay without problems or just leave.

Isn't that what I'm at least trying to do? I mean no harm. I'm just providing the other side of the coin. I'm only debating. I really don't care if the captain chooses to allow canon characters or not. I'm only here to provide the other half.
It would be nice for people to be able to play their canon characters, however, like you said before, there are many other guilds that they could go to.
I'm sorry if I caused any problems. :/

Oh don't worry, I wasn't mad at you,you were proving your own point,as was everybody else,I was just hoping to remind some that other people read all of this aswell.Nobody means any intentional harm,it just ticks me off when so many have disputes that make you wonder if they have any pride.It's like spam if you ask me.

It can be,yes.Just,in many arguements people sometimes go all out,not realising there is a better way.At first it's usually to protect their pride,then they become blinded by rage due to somebody standing against them.That is,however,how I usually act or just see it.I'm not sure if I would still stand up,that is yet to be seen though.
Also,the only way I really see it as spam is that they start so easilly and spread like wildfire,appearing everywhere.If I'm not annoyed by it,I'm usually just amused,or if it's a decent fight with a decent meaning behind it that I have nothing to do with,I stay out of it.I just posted something because I am a member and do not want this to spread and cause hateful judgements on ones veiw of things.
And no,you are most definantly not a fail for your replies seemed to be one of the very few intelligable comments there were throughout this.I'm just glad that there are others that don't try to strike nerves by saying foul words just to win a virtual fight,even though sometimes they are needed to finish one of and show how serious you are, they aren't always.

And I am not talking for everyone either these are my opinions so, but I mean I am not the captain so I do not care if he puts them in or not im just saying that I don't like the idea of using cannons.
Ok Mustang I don't know what your problem is but really I couldn't careless if you create your own GUILD, but no RPs within this guild. I mean you could have simply said, 'hey guys I am going to create a guild that fits how I want a FMA Guild to be like.' You didn't have to curse and really it was a friendly dispute if you get upset that easily then maybe you should go see a counselor, cause that is not normal. Also you don't have to be in the debate if you don't want to be nobody is forcing you to argue. But if you really won't be in a guild because it doesn't have everything you want then good luck cause unless you make your own guild you will never find a guild that will have everything you want. Plus why would you quit because you will have to over work your brain to think of a few thing you have to post on a profile, really I mean come on because you have to use your imagination to create a character you quit?? If you don't want to be here then leave nobody is forcing you to stay.

Thank you for saying that.I understand that you have your own idea of things and I shall respect that,I just get bored of ongoing fights.I actually would have prefered that this small one had not started in the first place,but by now there is really no reason to dwell on it.And to tell you the truth,I am a bit of a fan of cannon char. Rp's but,i dont have any room to decide what will go on in this guild.The captian is obviously the only one allowed to do so.I just hope that even though I just joined this guil,and I may not be in a high rank,it does not mean that others can't see these comments.That is mostly all =/ I just hope soon this one will be solved in decent way,atleast.

It probably does,but i try not and base all fights (mostly ones I myself have been in) on pride ,but you are most likely right.
I agree on the whole cannon arguement.It defanantly(sp?) is making me very bored =w=;

I did not intend to argue anymore anyway, I was going to stop as well, but as for the Captain he will read and take every comment into consideration, he is one of my friends in real life so I know for a fact that everyone is equal when it comes to their ideas. So please post what you think and I know he will look at every detail and decide if he likes it or not, he is a very layed back and generous person, so I know everyone will get along with him as long as they follow the rules and listen to him when he warns you about something.
