 What the Totodile expected was fair play! Wild Pokemon didn't know anything about Team Rocket, and this one was no exception. And besides, even if it did, it would still be angry. Another ball was thrown and the Totodile was sucked inside again. It resisted and on the second shake it broke free again! "DILE!" Oh he was hopping mad!

As the Totodile popped out the second time, both Hiromi and Kofuku's head dropped. Oh it had been so close too! Giving a heavy sigh, Kofuku put her third and last ball into Faleen's hand. "Aw swiss cheese, I fail so hard at this." She muttered, giving up; That pokemon was pissed, and she wasn't willing to make Gizmo faint in oder for a slim chance of catching it; Nina was useless at the moment since she wouldn't listen, and Hiromi knew no attacks and wouldn't be any good in this situation.

Faleen blinked when she felt a pokeball being placed in her hand, glancing down at it then back up at Kofuku.
"its okay Fuku" she said, reaching over to pat her friend's shoulder, Than looked over at the Totodile.
"alright, guess we'll see" she said as she made her way forward into a better battle range, her Umbreon trotting briskly beside her before he darted forward once in battle range, ears pressing back into his neck as he locked his gaze onto the water type.

The Totodile wasted no time. It shot a water gun right at the Umbreon.

His head jerked up as the jet of water struck against his chest. large eyes closing against the sting of water slapping against his skin.
after a while his features tensed as the pain grew.
"Umbreon MOVE IT!"
The order snapped, Umbreon twisted to shift his body away from the water gun, breaking out of the move by jumping to the side,
"Confuse Ray."
His ears perked, the yellow marking on his forehead glowing slightly as his eyes grew wide, a rippling wave firing from the dark type toward the Totodile.

The Totodile bared his teeth and watched the Umbreon keenly. Although the confuse ray caused the watermon's eyes to roll around in its head. Grabbing at his skull with his paws, the Totodile stumbled around in his confusion and fell flat on his face.

Faleen tilted her head slight when the pokemon fall on its face.
"hum..." she watched it for a few seconds longer.
Umbreon hung back for a moment as well, watching the pokemon on the ground. He growling softly himself he took a few steps forward.
"well, he looks pretty out of it." she said, holding up the pokeball that Kofuku had given her.
she wasn't practiced in catching pokemon, she'd... never actually caught one before, both her pokemon were either given to her, or bought.
she looked at the Pokeball to make sure it seemed ready to throw.
... and juust to be sure she didn't overdo it and throw the ball over the pokemon, she tossed the ball carefully underhand to make sure it bounced onto the Totodile.

Kofuku watched the ball being tossed out of Faleen's hand and bit her lip. The Totodile was really looking like he was out of it. Bitting her pinkie in her nervous habit, she glanced to Gizmo, who was being tended to by Hiromi.

(( Totally forgot about this sorry. DX )) The ball was thrown and again the Totodile was sucked inside. The ball shook once... twice... three times. ... ... ... *PING!* Totodile was caught! Whoever kept it better be careful though. This Totodile was bound to be a hateful one.

Walking over to the ball once it stopped rocking, he glowing button in the center dimmed off, Faleen dropped her fingers down in time to touch her Umbreon's head while passed him, the dark pokemon looking up at her, then returned his piercing stare at the ball.
well then... Looks like Faleen caught her first pokemon.
Despite that little itch of pride that she felt in her chest, the ball was snatched up from the sand, and tossed almost carelessly back over to Kofuku.
"looks like we got a water type after all" pointing out the irony with amusement.
"watch out with that one Fuku, he's a hero."

At first, Kofuku's heart raced with the excitement; Faleen had caught it! Figuring her friend would retrieve the ball, she ran to Gizmo, giving Hiromi a pat on the head. Scooping the exhausted Pichu up in her arms, she looked up just in time to get bopped on the head with the pokeball.
"Are you.. are you really giving him to me?" She asked; she wasn't expecting Faleen to really have passed the pokemon off to her. Granted, now she could add another rather pissed off added to her team. Would make life plenty interesting.

brow raised from when she saw the pokeball bounce off her friend instead of being caught.
smiling both in amusement and apology she shrugged softly
"it wouldn't fit in with my team"
walking back up onto the beach, putting her hands in her back pocket as they started to get cold.
"lets go start that fire Kofuku,"

Kofuku watched in surprise, then gently she picked up the pokeball and dusted off the sand. "Welcome to the mental ward." She muttered, dusting off the ball. She wasn't really one to have a 'type' of pokemon she specialized in, heck she failed at all types, but he certainly would fit in with Nina, the little snarky biatch.
As the sun set, the bonfire blazed brightly. Nina had, miraculously, been willing to light it and now she was asleep by the flames, probably enjoying the warmth. Kofuku had tended to Gizmo, who was now sprawled on his back resting.
Digging through her back, Kofuku brought out some pre-packaged hot dogs and a bag of marshmallows. "Whoo! Let this party start, baby!"

Holding her hands out toward the fire, finding, with difficulty, that balance of warmth, without the burning discomfort.
Giving up before to long, Faleen instead tucked her hands against her chest, leaning against her knees where her chin then rested.
She could hear Kofuku going through her bag, but eye remained locked on the dancing flames in front of her.
"do we have sticks?" she asked, not sure if Kofuku brought those yet.

"Yeah, I got a few metal ones from the kitchen." Pulling out what looked to be short, two-pronged forks, she twisted the base and pulled them out to the 3-foot length. "They're collapsible, so kinda useful." Tossing a bag of Marshmallows at Faleen, Kofuku grinned and handed her a fork.
Hiromi trotted back from the beach with a sea-shell in her mouth, dropping it at Kofuku's feet before going over and curling up against Faleen. "Veeeeee!" She squeaked out happily, looking up at the girl with bright eyes.
