Layna punched a nearby table, breaking it in half. "DAMMIT!" she screamed, her anger getting the better of her. "NO IT'S WASN'T A LIGHT SPELL THAT DID THAT. WHOEVER DID THIS TO HER MUST'VE BEEN EXTREMELY POWERFUL. THEY PLACED A LEVEL 0 CURSE ON HER! WHO DID THIS TO HER...?" she screamed, as angry tears spilled down her cheeks. Because she was too weak to heal her sister, she would have to go possibly the rest of her life blind.

Rayna smiled a happy, blissful smile. "Layna....It's okay. I've come to terms with my recklessness, and to be honest...I don't regret it. Yes I was reckless, but I saved countless lives and I am fully prepared to live the rest of life blind, because that means they get to live. It was worth it." she said in a tender voice.

Dark just closed his eyes, letting the sister's have their moments. Compared to Rayna Layna was so impulsive. He wasn't sure when he saw Rayna get so easily angered... "Many still died.." It slipped out of him. He didn't mean to say anything, he really didn't. He cleared his throat.
"..Anyways, Rayna. You'll be staying here for a bit, so like that you could get used to your vision. Outside of your forest I'm sure you wouldn't last a day blind."

Layna looked at her sister with awe. She hastily wiped her tears away. How could she be happy about her decision? Rayna's self righteousness had always irked her. She never understood how no matter how bad things got, she would always smile. When things got worse, her smile broadened. She never understood how her sister did that.

Rayna ignored his remark, she knew he was just stating fact. "Yeah your probably right, I should stay here and recover." She said hesitantly. She found herself blushing though. "So will you be staying here...with me...or will you return to sanctum?" she asked, almost afraid of his answer.

He looked at her, his eyes and face stern besides his calm. "..Sanctum's safe, and being here reminds me of how it made me feel when I first came. So, I'll be staying here for a while." He replied, turning to Layna. "So I guess there was nothing you could do.." A part of him blamed himself, having had dragged Rayna into Sanctum. But mainly because he hadn't acted quickly enough. Dark sighed, and turned to leave the room. "You should get some rest, too, Rayna."

Rayna's heart skipped a beat at his response. That was not what she had expected. "It's good to have you back Dark. Welcome Home." She said in a warm voice, blushing.

Layna gently picked up the broken table and fixed it with her magic, half listening to them. "He's right Rayna you need some sleep you look like you've run a mile." she pointed out. "You go on ahead, i'll be with you once i'm done with this." she said. What she really wanted was sometime to mull through her books and try to find something in there about curses.

"Come on. I'll take you to your room." He told Rayna, and waited her outside the infirmary door.
He wondered if Graft was still here. He remembered that he wanted to fight the knight, and half of him still did but the other told him that he had no real reason. Miki also came to mind... Hmm..can't see anything good coming from that other than her loud scolding. And then there was that vampire chick, and Kevin. Funny..he remembered them all. That was a suprise.

"Okay good night, sister." Rayna said, blushing at her comment. Was she really that disheveled looking? Her mind wandered to the night Dark and her had spent together, her face flushing at the thought as she let him lead her to her room, her arm around his.

He looked towards Rayna when she leaned closer, and clung to him like a child. She did explain why she felt for him like she did..but it was still something that would go unrequited. "So I guess you're going through your life blind, huh?"

"Looks like it..." she said her voice cheerful. "Tomorrow I'm going to train my butt off until I can use magic perfectly without my vision. I have people to protect, I've got to concore this handicap. Now that my magic has doubled, I've got to learn to control it. It's okay, because I've never come across a boat I couldn't sink." she said, determined.
