In an instant there was a gust of sand, which quickly dispersed leaving three boys standing in the road outside of the library. David released his grip on the other two, reclaiming his staff from Zin quickly as all the sand used to relocate them vanished back into his sleeves, returning to the weights on his arms. Happily basking in the warmth David simply stood in the street for a short time, before looking to Zin. "So what are we here for? We have to wait until tomorrow to get another artifact, but why the library?" The boy quizzed, not really sure what was special here. Unless maybe the boy intended to do research on the town, to help find more artifacts? Nonetheless, he followed Zin into the building. [Happens before Zin's post!]

After hearing what Zin had come up with, David smiled and settled himself into a seat, leaning his staff on the nearest book case. What the boy said made sense, and if his last idea here didn't come to pass, they could head that way quickly. "There's a few more in that area we could check out as well, along with some in other countries. Seems we're pretty well off as far as choices go." The boy smiled, confident that they could pass this test easily enough. It was taking longer than he had hoped, but they were doing just as well for it.

David watched Zin closely as he gathered his books, rather impressed, and yet amused at the way he hurried about. It was all pretty close to watching a school child studying up for the big exam. Which if you though about closely enough, it was. Unsure what to do while Zin studied, David glanced around the room, wondering just what he could do to pass the time. For a short while he decided to practice a skill most people rarely used, and followed Zin's readings upside down. Honestly that could be a useful skill if he ever needed it.

As time passed however, the boy grew bored of that, and instead went back to thinking about the various clues, focusing on ones he hadn't been able to figure out before. Most specifically, the one for which he already had the prerequisite for. It had stumped him all along, being more complicated than most. All of a sudden, the boy froze, staring straight at Zin. "s**t." He bit out, dropping his head on the table. "We have to go back up the mountain." The boy muttered, not lifting his head. Why had he not thought of this before?! But then, they couldn't expect to solve both at the same time. It was annoying that he hadn't at least thought of it before. The village as tough as the jutsu it prizes was obvious, what he hadn't been able to figure out was the colder air part. For some reason he had been thinking a sheet of ice, and he hadn't been able to link that to anything. But now, after being up there, it was all so obvious! "Number three is on the volcano." He sighed, just to make sure the boy understood just why he wanted to drag them back up to that hell.

David perked up at Zin's suggestion, having been thinking of the climb up the entire time. But he was right, with his shunshin technique, it would only take a couple minutes! Nodding to the boy, David smiled. "That should work fine." He agreed, happy that they were back on the course they had started on. Picking up a new artifact at every turn was a good thing for them, as it assured them entry to the finals. A glance at the Aburame and David frowned. Had the boy said a word, or even done anything but follow them since that forest? It was disturbing to say the least. As if they were being followed by a ghost.

"Let's just hope the rising fire isn't an eruption." He whispered, remembering a few of the more literal riddles they had run into. Order a drink and get a mug of infinite drink, pebbles to boulders and boulders fell, touch my face became a mask. And now they were going to climb a volcano to meet rising fire? Maybe he hadn't completely thought this through after all.

As Zin studied into the night, David quickly grew bored. He didn't want to practice his own techniques, as despite being allies now, they could easily be opponents in the next round. Reading the boy's notes as they were written quickly grew boring to him, as his area of study was more in the tactical things. The only reason he knew as much of Iwagakure as he did, was because he was interested in their jutsu, and knowing the area they lived would help to better understand all that. No, the Ichibi aside, the study of demons interested him very little, though this other boy seemed to find it interesting, if the notes he was reading were any indication. While David would most likely have made a fact sheet of various abilities, Zin seemed to delve into all aspects of the beasts.

With the passage of time, David soon found his eyes closed, and his mind automatically shunting him into meditation, to avoid the havoc that would arise should he sleep. he didn't know how many hours passed while he was in that state, but when he finally awoke, he found the rest of his team preparing to leave, going about their various actions. He was rather surprised the library staff hadn't booted them onto the street for the night, though he supposed they had been quiet enough, maybe they just didn't care.

Standing and moving to he bathroom for his own morning rituals, David was ready within a minute, standing by the door with his staff in hand, never having dropped his pack the night before. "The technique works best from outside." He stated, immediately walking out the door to wait for the others. Gazing up at the mountain they would soon be climbing once more, David sighed. Hopefully the artifact would be as simply located this time as the last, because he didn't look forward to spending time on the mountain.

Handing his staff to Zin once more, David ran through the same set of hand seals, focusing on the location they had been at before. Right at the bowl of the volcano would be the surface that cries, if everything else had been interpreted correctly. With his seals completed, David grabbed hold of the other two boys once more as sand poured from his sleeves, wrapping around them until they vanished, teleported back up to the top of the volcano.

Kaze quickly entered the library, a place in Iwagakure he hadn't been to in a while. He went to the librarian person, and asked her where the Katon scrolls were located. After that question, he awaited her response.
