I got on Pein in front of Juliet. "Pein, home." I commanded. He listened obediantly, and took us back to the manor. "See? I told you that I'm part of a clan. And if we wait here for a few more seconds..." I said as my uncle Leo ran outside. "I smell a human!! Where is she?!" He yelled. He dashed at Juliet, faster than I could, but I was a step ahead. I tackled him, pinning him to a tree. "She's with me, Leo. Back off." I said. "Fine, but the next time you bring a human here, I'm not going to be so easy to catch." he replied.

Juliet's eyes widened, and she slid off of Pein slowly, and watched, frightened. "You...you weren't lieing." She whispered, and her mask fell of, and she ignored it, never taking her eyes off of Zenouse and the other one.

"No, I wasn't. And Leo knows how to keep a secret, but I need to know; do you? You have to promise never to tell another human about this. Do you understand? No-one may know the whereabouts of the Clan, or even that we actually exist." I said, grabbing her shoulders a little.

Juliet stared at him, scared still. "No... I wont tell." She whispered, her voice horror-struck.

"Look, Juliet, there's nothing to be scared of. The Reticath Clan is a peaceful one. We only drink the blood of men who want to Change. Men who have earned their rights to become a Reticath. We would never physically harm anyone on purpose, unless it was absolutely necisary." I said, trying to calm her down.

Juliet blinked a few times, and relaxed a bit. "I guess Ill believe you, you haven't lied to me yet." She sad, and looked over him at the other vampire. "Pleasure to meet you too." She said, her voice mocking slightly.

"Yeah, sorry about my uncle. He hasn't had a female's blood in like, a thousand years, so whenever one walks onto our proporty, he's the first on the scene. He's the only one with little self-control, though. You can come inside, if you want. My uncle may be good at keeping things from humans, but he's the gossip king of our clan." I said, motioning to the door.

Juliet bit her lip, and thought about it for a second, weighing her options. I could just go home, and forget all about this, or I could walk in and maybe get attacked by some ravenous...thing. She thought, and sighed, and looked at the door. "Why not? Ive got nothing to really loose." She said.

"Oh, and before we go in, I suggest you do not think such insults about my kind. The only reason that a swarm or 'ravenous things' isn't attacking you for thinking that is because I'm the only one within range of your thoughts." Is aid, walking up to the door.

Juliet's eyes narrowed. "Stay out of my mind, and you might find me a little happier." She warned. Her mind was her only safe place, and now someone had entered it. She followed him silencing her thoughts.

"Just a helpful suggestion. Some of the other vampires aren't as tolerant of insults from a human as I am." I said, opening the door. We entered what seemed to be a normal tavern sceen, with men covered in leather and fur drinking mugs of beer at a time, being served by an 'attractive' waitress.

Juliet blinked a few times, and looked around. "Yup. Ive gone insane..." She muttered to herself. "I wonder what mother would say." She thought aloud, thinking it pointless to keep her thoughts in her head if someone is going to intrude.

"Umm, I hope you didn't mean anything bad by that..." I said as everyone else in the room stopped talking and looked at us.

"I didn't." She replied, and felt her stomach squirm when everyone's eyes fell on them. She hated attention, but her mask... "My mask." She gasped, touching her face, and realized it wasn't there.

I pulled her mask out of my jacket pocket. "I thought you might be wanting this. It won't do you much good, though." I said, motioning to the people in front of us, staring.
