Skye smiled and nodded softly as he spoke, they were so alike in so many ways it sort of gave her little butterfly's in her stomach. She was so intent on listening to him she almost didn't notice that they were just about to the lake. But she soon caught the fresh smell of the water as the wind gently swept past her nose. "Oh here we are " she smiled at Parker. "Do you want to race?" she was curious to see if he could beat her in the water.

"Race?" he repeated with a grin. "Sure thing. I'm up for it if you are. Although, I gotta say. I think I got faster in the last five minutes." He was teasing, of course. Since they were going to race, he stopped walking and crouched down low, his tail swishing quickly behind him. "On your mark...get set..."

Skye smirked the grin growing and stretching on her face. "Oh I'm up for it." she giggled softly, "are you sure you can handle the speed at which I am about to go?" she was just kidding but this was so much fun, being with him. wait...did she just think that? she hoped she hadn't said it out loud. She shook her head and smiling at him as he said ready....set.. she yelled. "GO!" she lept off the edge and dove deep into the water.

Parker ran and jumped in behind her, breaking the surface of the water with his dive. Shortly after he swam back up and stuck his head out of the water. The lake felt good and did wonders for cooling him down from the heat outside. His feet paddled in the water beneath him, keeping him afloat. Playfully, he splashed at Skye when she surfaced for air.

Skye finally came up for ear, giggling as she paddled her feet beneath her keeping herself afloat. When Parker playfully splashed water at her she giggled, the cool water refreshing and crisp on her fur. She laughed and gently flicked water at him, her paw swishing the water around at him. her eyes bright and glittering as she looked at him, she thought he was very attractive and she couldn't help but blush as he moved closer to her. "How was that?" she laughed again, the blush returning, hot under her fur.

Parker wasn't expecting to be splashed back so quickly. His face dripped, and his ears were a bit drooped, but soon he shook his head free from the droplets and smiled at Skye. "That was awesome," he answered, swimming a little closer. So far this was turning out to be the best day he'd ever had, and all because he met a wonderful female fox. "I forgot how nice the water feels here." He turned over and started to float on his back, looking up at the clouds. "It's great."

skye swallowed hard and smiled, her blush making her face hot that she was thankful, oh so thankful for the water. "I am too am so happy, this day has been amazing." she smiled and looked up into the bright blue sky, the clouds puffy and white gently floating gracefully in the blue. "Yes the water does feel so very nice, its so fresh and clean". She watched him turn over and she quickly ducked her head again into the cool water then shook her fur out, this caused her hair to floof out a little she giggled and rolled on her back, gently kicking her feet and swishing her tail as sort of steering as she floated along side Parker.

He didn't need to look to know that Skye was now swimming beside him. They were both on their backs, and their sides were touching. The gray fox felt his cheeks heat up under his fur a little as he decided to rest his tail on hers. His legs were still kicking, so it helped to keep him moving. "I'm really glad I met you," he said softly a few minutes later.

Skye felt him put his tail over hers, her cheeks started to burn red hot under her fur. She could feel the intensity growing, the feeling of his side against hers, his tail on hers she was blushing so hard she almost couldn't breath, but she calmed herself down. Turning her head she peered into his eyes, the deep blue of her eyes glittering in the reflection of the sun off the water. "i am really glad I met you too" she said.

She was so...beautiful. Impossibly so, in fact. The dark color of her fur, her spots, and her breathtaking blue eyes were perfect. It left Parker speechless for a minute as he just stared at her, marveling at her natural beauty. He swallowed and tried to speak, but he failed to say anything; the words died on his tongue. He tried again and was given the same result. Finally, he decided he wouldn't say anything at all. Instead, he leaned in and kissed her the way foxes kissed: His nose pressed into hers and their lips faintly touched.

Skye felt the heat intensifying again as he stared back at her, she wished she could hear what he was thinking, She was glad that he could not hear her thoughts. He is so handsome...I have never met someone like him... she swallowed as they stared at each other. She watched him and then he leaned over, kissing her gently, their lips touched so softly, her eyes got wide and she blushed and even darker hotter red. The kiss felt so good, she had no words to say anything. She simply looked at him, her tail gently wrapping around his as she leaned and nuzzled his muzzle and cheek softly.

Parker felt his heart swell with newly found affection for Skye. Although they hadn't agreed to a relationship or anything, he knew they were right for each other. He also knew that he'd never find anyone else like her. This was why from that day on he wanted to stay with her. They could hunt together, eat together, and even find a nice place to live together...if she wanted, that was. Deciding that he would leave all of that for later, he nuzzled her back and closed his eyes, enjoying the day for what it was worth.

Skye could feel the butterflies in her stomach doing acrobatic tricks, her heart was beating so fast she could have sworn that Parker would hear it. She purred softly, she knew that they were not in and official relationship, they had not agreed to one, but it felt right being with him. She had not before met someone that understood her like he did, she knew in her heart they belonged together. She hoped that he felt the same, she wanted to continue to be by his side no matter what. She wanted them to hunt together, eat, and possibly live together, she wondered what he felt about her. She felt him nuzzle against her and she relaxed by his side, her feet gently kicking to keep her afloat. This day had been the best day of her life so far.
