EXAMPLE: EXTREME FEMINISM So the alternative is to grin and bear it, without showing the other person what it's like? You can't tell someone that they need to back off your country, because that starts a political discussion, which is not what this is about. The alternative is to prove them wrong with (as cheesy as it sounds) kindness. Show them that they're wrong, and that the United States is in fact a place open to other cultures. The way to shut people up is going to be to prove that the U.S. is in fact a country of fairly nice people, and not a bunch of arrogant assholes as much of the world seems to think right now. The kindness of one person, as nice as it can be, can't overturn societal expectations all at once. It's better than that person acting like a total a*****e.

All I'm sayin' is "getting even" by bein' dickish back is just gonna reinforce the stereotypical image of the United States as a bunch of arrogant assholes. To break that you gotta prove that you're all actually really nice people. Most of what Kuzo said seems more narmy than serious to me. xd I can understand your point, I really do. But if you're so upset about what he said, it would probably be more productive if you take it up with Kuzo himself.

I'm done here. We've gotten to the point where I'm just restating myself and people are twisting it to make me look bad.
I think that Americans are nice people. They just need to show it a lot more to break the misconception the rest of the world has that they're jerks. The end. Seeya.
