Well, the new comers seemed to be at an unfair advantage. They knew of the people here in the house but no one here seemed to know about them. It really made Neko wonder why that was. Surely Hitsu would have let on she was dating someone instead of waiting until the moment she had gotten pregnant to pop the news....unless this was all very sudden. A question formed at the tip of his tongue but for once tact seemed to be on his side and instead he looked to Hitsu and then back at the two men.

"Well, she already popped the news about the baby. At least to us, though I'm sure there are still some others in the household that don't know.....maybe," Neko said.

"There is really only one lonely soul in the basement who has yet to hear the news," Phibrizzo stated smiling his innocent smile.

Mitsu gave a bit of a shuttered. Though no names were mentioned she could clearly remember the monster that lurked in the basement. Unconsciously she stepped closer to Neko for comfort despite the fact that there was no hellhound present.

Skye smiled intently, and spoke to everyone with a slight gesture, "I'll have no secrets from my future family. Anything we have to discuss, they all may be privy to." He thought himself to be quite gentlemanly at this point, and it reflected in his facial expression.

Quirking a brow Neko looked Skye in the face before a bit of a grin tugged at the corner of his mouth. Was this guy for real? "Oh this ought to be good." He didn't expect Hitsu to lay out what she wanted to say, but he was certain something interesting was about to happen. So with intense interest he turned his head in her direction awaiting the inevitable.

Suddenly Mitsu felt a little uncomfortable as Skye said there would be no secrets and they were...she supposed, free to listen in? There had to be a good reason Hitsu wanted to talk in private and sometimes secrets were necessary....so why was he trying to get her to speak in front of them all? Mitsu was unsure of the information that Hitsu wanted to share but it could be potentially embarrassing. The only thing that Mitsu could think of was the word 'jerk' and in her slightly more emotional and hormonal state, her facial expression seemed to mirror her displeasure.

Phibrizzo did his best to keep his face neutral and not grin like a fool. Oh, this was going to be delicious! Already these two seemed like they were going to be so much fun. Dynast will have a field day when I finally tell him all this...at least when I get around to it. The one seems human though he has an odd aura about him but the other....smells of dragon.

He continued to hold his smile as he coolly lied through his teeth, "You know the answer to that as much as I do, I'm only 24 years old. We celebrated that birthday together, remember? You counted out the candles on the cake." He chuckled inwardly, "You should know that better than anyone here." His eyes betrayed him though with a quick dart to Hanse.

Like a ball in a tennis match, Neko's head snapped back and forth determined to catch even the slightest facial expression change. It seemed that the new comer had already rubbed Hitsu the wrong way....and he had just walked in the door. It was close to being the record but Neko was sure the twins had topped that at one point.

"Neko," Mitsu whispered harshly elbowing him in the side to make him quit. "Hitsu, we can go to the kitchen," Mitsu said looping an arm through Neko's. His face looked suddenly disappointed but he wouldn't argue. "We can get drinks ready for everyone? Maybe some snacks?"

Skye cleared his throat lightly, "I indeed came unto this world from my mother's womb on that day." He glanced between Hanse and Hitsu briefly, then returned his full attention to Hitsu, "As for my acquaintance with Hanse, we've known each other for at least twice as long." His gaze then adverted slightly downward, "Beyond that... time has lost meaning to me, and I no longer remember the delicate details."

So...age was the issue? "How boring," Phibrizzo stated a little flatly as he moved away from the door. So everyone was old, who cared? Normal humani hardly acknowledged their true age. "I'll be off now." With a bit of a smile he winked out of existence. It didn't seem that he was going to get much more from this conversation, but it seemed like the perfect opportunity to give Dynast a visit.

Fazing back in outside the basement door, Phibrizzo smiled knowing the Dark Lord could feel his presence. What was he thinking right now? "So how are we fairing?" Phibrizzo asked with a hint of amusement to his voice. He didn't speak above a normal tone but he knew that Dynast could hear him perfectly well. "Enjoying the life of solitude you have going on?" With little effort Phibrizzo began to faze through the door and finally came to stop at the head of the stairs leading down into the basement. Time to play.

Like Phibrizzo, Neko seemed unimpressed to find out the true cause of the issue. He was only slightly distracted from the fact when Hanse took him up on the offer of food and drink. Looking at the dark haired man Neko couldn't help but feel something off about him. He really didn't seem Hitsu's type. "Sorry, fresh out. And Mitsu is rather greedy and likes to keep hers to herself."

"Huh?" Mitsu looked confused. "But I don't have any of those little snack cakes." Clearly she didn't understand....though they did sound good.

"Come on, we'll go get the drinks ready," Neko gave the two men one last look lingering a little longer on Hanse. He could already tell he didn't like him, but Neko was never fond of other men. Wrapping an arm over Mitsu's shoulder he pulled her along back toward the kitchen.
