Thom closes the books and sets it aside as Ama brings the map over, he studies it for a time before pointing at a spot two thirds the way up the mountain "Up in this general area" he circles the area with his finger. "Back when I lived there, there was many eagles nests here, I dont know if they still exist or not"

Ama rubbed the back of her head. "Well, we could give it a go, and maybe we'll be back down before sundown..." She threw her head back and drained her tea, placing the cup down. "What do you think, you up for some adventuring?"

Thom looks out the window towards the distant lands beyond thinking "Sure why not, I have nothing to lose... that I havent already lost" he downs some more of the tea and stands up, stretching.. He certainly needed it he felt stiff

"C'mon then!" Grinning, Ama grabbed him by his wrist and made her way back out into the hall. "You're going to have to go faster than this if you want to get back before sunset!" She stuck her tongue out at him, letting go of his wrist, and sprinted down the hall.

Being nearly pulled off his feet for the second time in a single day, Thom looked rather amused. "Okay okay... And you have far too much energy" after a moment he runs after her, heading once again out of the HQ, he was truthfully anxious to know whether or not his home still existed

Making sure that she didn't loose him, she looked over her shoulder at him. "C'mon, Old man, you should have plenty of energy from being a rock for so long!" Ama was actually enjoying herself, a pleasant surprise from the last guy she'd had the unfortunate fate of being connected to.
A frown flickered over her face as she thought of that other faun, snorting. "a**....."

"You forget one thing, I have a slight advantage over you.... I can fly" he laughs as he gains on her even jsut running. "And no teasing on the rock thing.... I can remember the rocks vividly" he smirks and rubs a slight bruise where one of the rocks had pelted against him back in that hall

Ama grinned, the competition getting the best of her. "G'luck with those wings in the trees of the forest. I, however, was MADE for running through the trees." That said, she burst into the foliage, easily making her way through the branches and logs.

"Why go through... when you can go over!" he spreads his wings at the edge of the foliage. He jumps into the air to lift over the trees, his vision watching her through the foliage as he moved forward himself.

Coming to a skidding hault, she looked around for Thom. "Thom....? THOM! Where'd you go?" A worried look came on her face. "Aw c'mon, you old fart, I wasn't THAT fast..."

"Who said anything about fast" he cals down to her from almsot directly above, in fact he was flying little circles above. "Come on young lady lets go.. or we wont be back by sunset" he teasingly mimics her want to get back by sunset

A bright flush came over Ama's cheeks as she heard him calling from above. "You jerk! You had me really worried for a second!" Peeved now, she took off in the right direction, grumbling under her breath.

"Hey I did tell you I could fly..." he calls back at her and takes off after her. It wasnt long before the edge of hte forest was reached and the base of hte mountain stood before the pair. Thom lands beside Ama and puts his hands on his hips "you up for the climb?"

Ama smacked him hard upside the head when he landed. "You damn jerk, don't do that again...." Crossing her arms, she looked up the mountain and sighed. "Alright, lets start climbing."

"Ow! Ow!... Hey now!" he hods his hands up to avoid any more smacks, but let them down when it became evident that the one was all he was getting. "Yeah lets go" he starts to climb the mountain with what is obviously practiced ease. After a minute or two he glances back over at Ama to make sure she was keeping up
