 the wind blew through her long hair as she stood ontop of a rigid rock formation. with speed and her ears tucked back she jumped down.

"Well, then," Althea remarked. "I suppose you'll want to take me in as well. After all, I, who have been standing in the shadows for 10 minutes now, am much more suspicious than this poor child who is laying here, bleeding upon your doorstep. Yet, you'll arrest the one who most needs your compassion? I must already be on death row!" She walked over to the "boy" and put her arm around "him".

Noise looked at the woman, she gave a faint smile the returned to her crying, only stopping to swallow the blood that filed her mouth.
"Good point, we'll also have to bandage the kid up as well," the guard who seemed in charge, walked closer, "Since you pointed it out and the kids injured we wont tie you up."

Typical government. Althea thought to herself, helping the kid up to the head guard. Always looking out for their own skins.

Noise looked forlornly at the ground as Althea helped her along, "th-thank y-you," she had shifted the recorder to her bloody hand to she didn't get blood on Althea's clothes. Her leg was still bleeding as well, this wasn't a very good day.
"Okay gather up everything, bring it to the guard house, you want me to take him?" the guard offered to take Noisemaze.

"I can take him and care for him, since guards have a bigger duty to run. Especially if there's an assassination attempt or whatever. Don't want our king to fall." Althea steadied the "boy", not conscerning herself in the slightest with the blood. She never trusted the government. She certainly wasn't going to leave this boy with them - what with them already ignoring wounds, she wasn't about to trust them with anything, much less this boy's life...

"Okay well if you will follow me, patch the kid up, ask some questions, of course the final course of action is up to the king," the captain of the guard, led the way slowly so Althea could keep up.
Noise' crying had dulled to a slight snivel, crying wouldn't help anyone least of all her.

Althea helped carry her up. "Don't worry." she mumbled. "I'll protect you." She slowly began using her power to rid the wounds of possible infection as she walked.

"You make it sound like we're the enemies here," the guard stood at a corner and waited, "so you two have names?"
Noise swallowed more blood, she didn't want to spit it out or she might get it on her clothes, the blood running down the outside of her cheeks was bad enougth. "I won't" she replied to Althea, then the guard asked for a name, she pondered using a fake one but didn't see any point, "Artemis."

"I don't consider us enemies." Althea lied. "However, this boy apparently has someone out to get him. And I will protect him the the best of my abilities." She conveniently "forgot" to state her name...

"Not me, my mother" Noise teared up again but held it back, he kept silent until they reached the guard house.
"Right in here and we can hear your stories and or pleading," the guard said sounding a bit stressed as he held a door open, "and I believe I asked for a name?"
