"I'm not a brat!" she stuck her tongue out back at you and ran into the crowd.

As chibiusa wandered through the crowd she saw the Ferris wheel and ran to it. "May I get on please she said to the worker." with a smile.

Adrian looked back at the rest of his group. The stage was set, everybody was hooked up. "Alright, guys. What say we get a sound check done and start playing something to get people hooked?"

Kyou and Raoul nodded at him as they pulled on their instruments. Kira spun once on her stool, twirling her drumsticks around in her fingers, then gripping them and shaking her wrists out.

Adrian strapped on his guitar and strummed out a few notes, feeling the pulses from the amps behind him. Raoul followed suit, content to go over each string once. Kyou ground out a short rhythm on the bass as Kira tapped each of her drums and cymbals once. Adrian smiled. Everything was in good order.

He looked back at Kira and nodded, then started a song. He played out a Hendrix-style rhythm for a few moments before Kira joined in with a drumroll to help conclude his riff. When he started playing again, it was a relaxed kind of song, and Kira joined right in with a lazy kind of drumming.

The swordsman began smiling as the song went on, and he wondered if anyone else who heard the song had ever been to the Cliffs of Dover...

Reika ran up to the ticket booth smiling. She got her ticket and ran in next to her mother. "Oooh, a carnival. Fun!" she screamed. She waved at everyone else grabbing Rei's hand.

He'd never been to a carnival before. It wasn't something he'd ever thought of doing but when the flier arrived in the mail he went without much thought.
Walking through the gates he heard the band playing in the distance, the woman at the gate grinned at him as he paid the entrance fee and she stamped his hand. To his left was the large ferris wheel all lit up and spinning, he looked up at it. "Interesting..."

Adrian grinned as he saw a small crowd gathering at the foot of the stage. "Looks like we got some attention," he said to the others. "What say we get this show started?" He turned and was met with smiles and nods from the other three.

He turned back to the crowd and started strumming out a few soft notes as the rest of the band joined in for three heavy notes, and they repeated the rhythm, as Adrian muttered softly into the microphone, "Here's the weight of the world on my shoulders... Here's the weight of the world on my shoulders..."

They kicked into a full rock sound as the swordsman shouted, "On my shoulders!"

They fell back into a slightly quiet rhythm as he continued:

"All alone I pierce the chain
And on and on the sting remains
And dying eyes consume me now
The voice inside screams out loud"

They started picking back up again as Kyou joined him for the chorus:

"I am focused on what I am after
The key to the next open chapter
Cause I found a way to steal the sun from the sky
Long live that day that I decided to fly from the inside"

They backed off again as Adrian went into the second verse:

"Every day a new deception
Pick your scene and take direction
And on and on I search to connect
But I don't wear a mask and I have no regrets

Long live that day that I decided to fly from the inside"

They kept the heavy rock going as Adrian belted out:

"I can't escape the pain
I can't control the rage
Sometimes I think that I'm gonna go insane
I'm not against what's right
I'm not for what's wrong
I'm just making my way and I'm gone"

The whole band dropped off again, leaving Adrian strumming the few notes he'd started the song with as he said softly, "Here's the weight of the world on my shoulders"

The other three came back as strong as ever to finish out the song:

"Cause I found a way to steal the sun from the sky
Long live that day that I decided to fly from the inside...
That I decided to fly from the inside...
That I decided to fly from the inside!"

When the song cut off, Adrian leaned in to the mic and smiled, saying, "Thank you! Thank you very much!"

Lucis caught the sound of the music tuning up and starting, instantly turning and following the sound. "Oh, so that's Macro Cosmos..." She laughed quietly to herself, settling into the crowd to listen while having nothing better to do. Besides the fact that they were really good for a cover band.
