Mit raised and lowered his eyebrows, "That's for sure..." He took another sip from his drink, "You should see the elven cities... Finer clothes, though they are more comfortable, and the houses are twenty feet up in the trees. And harder to have a conversation with them... At least here they don't talk in riddles and stretch truths..."

The elder servant came into the room, a younger man carrying a tray with two covered plates. The younger man placed both on a free table and left while the older servant removed the covers and started slicing the bread, "Pardon me my lady..." He said in a very polite tone, bowing, "Would you care to taste some of the Wynn spiced meat? Today it is spiced Stag minion. Our country is famous for it."
Ambersky's head popped up, "Eliss, May I have some?"

Eliss cut a very fine piece of meat, rolled rolled it with a fork and offered it to her, "Miss would like to sample it first? I also brought our famous Sour milk bread, and cheese and herb loaf. Both are well suited to match the meat." He looked over at Ambersky, "Lord Sly, how much would you like?"
"Just a small snack," Ambersky said jumping to his feet and trotting over, "Lord Tora would you like some?

Violet took the fork and began to sort of gnaw on the meat, unsure of how to eat it.

"Make that two." Ambersky said happily, "And don't be afraid to make thick slices."
The meat Eliss had cut for Violet had been deli thin, like what was served from party traus, mean while he cut large , and thick slices from the large hunk of meat for Tora and Ambersky. He placed all on two clean plates and carried them over to Tora and placed the second next to the first plate. He bowed as he backed away, "Enjoy..."
Mit had climbed to his feet and walked over to the table. He waited until Eliss returned, "Would you please make me a sandwich from the meat and Sour milk bread?"
"Of course, Lord Mage," Eliss said with a little bow and started cutting into the meat and bread, "Lady is the meat to your liking?"

"uh... yes?" Violet seemed to ask. The problem wasn't that the meat was not good, she just had nothing to really compare it to. She glanced over to Mit like she was asking for help.

Mit raised an eyebrow, how was he supposed to know if she would like the meat or not?
Ambersky dove into the meat, playing with it, a little before he ate it.
Eliss finished making the sandwich and handed it and the plate to Mit, "Did Milady like it enough to want more? Or would she like to try the bread? If you do not like that, Milady I can go find some fruits and nuts for you. I can not promise they will not be dried, but the palace does have some."

"Of course, forgive me." He said bowing, "Among the Fae we have had in the palace I'm afraid we've never served a Fairy. I'm unsure how to best serve to your needs, Milady. If you feel a need for anything to not hesitate to ring or one of the kitchen staff."
