12/18/2012 Kara Walker AKA KC2 Commissions Cosplay Update: here are some updates. I just have to add naps to to the clothes, the silver circles on Melfina, make the white undershirts, and finish the ranma outfits. I haven't taken a pic of the ranma yet since its not much to show right now. Melfina's skirt looks good too. The back of Melfina's cloak is almost perfect. All it needs is a little slit in it. The circles on Melfina's cloak are white. Is the inside of the cloak purple? The only thing about the front of the cloak is it looks like triangles instead of rectangles with a point at the end. I'll add more reference pictures. You are doing beautify, so far so good! Ordered Gene and Harry during the free head event, so Melfina will have a spare head and closed eyes!

AOD screwed up!
Gene and Harry are AOD MSD BJD's both bought from the AOD web site.
Gene is a Chen and Harry is a Li Ge.
The free heads are an opened eyed Meng Ya Qi and a regular closed eyed Meng Ya Qi .

The boys arrived but the entire order is so screwed up!
I'm getting my photos together, but still no word from e-mail or the AOD page.
The shipping boxes had some damage.
The doll boxes had a little damage.
Both doll boxes had pink pillow things.
They gave all four heads pink girly face-ups with brown eyebrows and long brown eyelashes.
The two Meng Ya Qi heads were supposed to have black eyebrows.
The Chin head have red eyebrows, and LeGi head have turquoise eyebrows.
Gene's body is a yellow non-muscular male, it's supposed to be yellow muscular.
Harry's body is a white female, it's supposed to be white non-muscular male.
The two Meng Ya Qi heads were supposed to be yellow skinned with one opened eyed head.
The two heads are different skinned tones, one yellow closed eyes and one white opened eyes.
They sent one dark purple eyes, one two toned purple eyes, one spiraled grey/purple eyes, one pink eyes.
They were supposed to send one brown pair, one blue pair, and two pairs of purple.
The two random free wigs:
One short white cute wig.
One medium length wine red with bangs so long you can't see their eyes.
They pierced Gene's ears, but you can't get an earring on the left side, but you can on the right.
Boy body has some speedo looking flowered swim suit/underwear.
Girl body has a white bra and panty underwear set.
Overall I am very upset.
I intend to send Gene and Harry's naked body's back to them, keeping the girl and boy underwear, and the heads.
I hope they get it right and send back a non-muscular white body and a muscular yellow body.
I don't even want to mess with the wrong free heads.
Who knows what I'll get back.
I don't think I'll go threw the AOD company again, maybe HappyHouse, Junkeyspot, Ebay, or even secondhand.
Also, my Melfina is supposedly from the summer of 2011, I noticed some differences.
Harry's girl body and Melfina's body are the same, but the white girl body has slimmer feet.
Melfina is supposedly a normal-yellow skin tone, but she's almost pinkish next to Gene's yellow body.
I know resin batches are different, and she's older, I was just surprised.
Also the three Meng Ya Qi heads (Melfina's and the two new ones) are all different colors.
The two new Meng Ya Qi heads are the same mold, but Melfina's has bigger ears and eyes.
I know they change molds every so often.
Also the head-caps are deigned differently and can't be interchanged.
The white girl body and Melfina's body have almost like a "six-pack" abs, and Gene's non-muscular body is flat.
Also after looking at the web site's body options the muscular body and the non-muscular body have some differences.
The pictures of the muscular body shows ribs, abs, pecks, etc. while the non-muscular is flat and tone-less.
Also according to the pictures the muscular body has um... a well... a bigger... boy part than the non-muscular.
It looks like the non-muscular body has slimmer hips from looking at the pictures.
Any advice?
I won't fuss about the eyes or wigs because they were kind of random.
The face-ups are fixable, so maybe I shouldn't fuss too much.
I am very upset about the two different colored free heads, but I guess I can live with it.
Having the wrong body's are the problem!
I should send naked body's back together in one box, keep everything else and hope they don't screw up again.
It would probably take a month to get the replacement body's too.

AOD update: They did discontinue tan skin and muscular male body's.
They said if I pay the shipping they will send a white AB402 boy body!
I also found a dealer on DOA with a yellow muscular male body!
Cosplay update:
I paid $67.00 on October 2nd and received a partial refund of
$34.50 on February 28th.
Also this note:
"I tried doing as much as I could but I'm leaving in a few hours. I'll get the package out for you before I head on the plane but there are some things missing. I hope the partial refund makes up for it. But I will be happy to make you anything else when I return. Or if i get access to supplies while I'm away I'll continue."
She's going to China for a semester. I'll update with information about the package and what all was included when it arrives.
Over all today was eventful.
I am in the process of getting the correct body's for my boys!

I did get reimbursed half of what I spent on my cosplay commission but still no products, finished or not.

No, when I go to aoddoll.net and add white male body for $120 to my shopping cart it cost $19 to send to my address EMS shipping.
If I bought a $120 body the shipping would be $19 and the total would be $139.00
It is not $40 for one body.
It is only $19.
The $20 I sent is enough.

Melfina Y Gene (Black Pink Red Wingdings Bold Comic San MS) Pear Tree 2013 Photo Shoot Melfina and Gene are two of my 1/4 Angel of Dream BJD's. Melfina is a 2011 Pink Ming Ya Qi with opened eyes. Gene is a 2012 yellow Chen head on a 2010 yellow muscular male body. They are enjoying the blossoming Pear tree and will probably have another photo-shoot when the Peach tree blossoms! It's a very windy day today, they didn't want to sit in the tree, or stay out too long. Thank you! They both have petals in their hands.  Close up  I am holding them in front of the Pear tree, and Melfina is trying to hold her hair back.  The wind tried to knock them over, but it died down long enough to take pictures of them standing!  Melfina and Gene with the Pear tree.  We're waiting for the Peach tree to blossom! The commissioned clothing came in the mail today.
I received:
Melfina's cape, unlined and maybe incomplete.
Melfina's skirt: odd fitting.
Akane's school outfit and two shirts (?), no bow or jacket.
Ranma's two shirts and one pants: pants are coming undone, shirt's ribbons falling off.
Extras: Large Jeans, large flowered skirt, and an Easter Basket.
Overall I am mildly disappointed.
The parts that were finished were coming apart, odd fitting, too big or too small. It took too long, and isn't finished.
