The Shinx grumbled something unintelligent, possibly an insult before he glanced up in time to see the kick coming, but not quick enough to dodge it.
Volkner tumbled backwards in a little kitty heap and lay motionless.
He wasnt hurt.
Just too damn lazy to get back up and deal with this Buneary.
His earlier anger having settled and he was once more left not giving a damn.

"That all ya' got?" The Buneary chucked out as he trotted over to Volkner's heap of a body on the ground. After staring for a moment though and realizing his opponent was completely unharmed he began to scowl."Get up." He practically ordered; his normal tone losing all of it's levity. The fact that the fight wasn't even over and the Shinx had already given up just wasn't right in his eyes.

Volkner made a pissy mewling noise to go along with his glare.
"You're annoying. No."
And that was that for the Shinx. He didnt feel like fighting, it was boring and held no interest for him.
Sure, maybe he use to like a good battle but nothing excited him anymore and he was content to lay on the ground and do nothing.

"You're a real a**. Flint stated rather bluntly. Moving closer to Volkner to the point where he was hovering directly over the electric type. Arms crossed in annoyance for his own reasons."You're just beyond the point of lazy and well deserve the place in the dirt that you're in right now. He spat out; well literally, as he hocked a wad of spittle onto the ground directly next to the Shinx to finish his cold statement. About facing and beginning to walk away; his nerves were shot by Volkner with good reason, which was normally a very hard thing to accomplish, but this was just ridiculous.

Something about what the Buneary said bothered him, and Volkner stood in a huff appearing before the rabbit with his swift speed.
"We're rivals now." He hissed, poking Flint in the forehead with a paw.
"I'll prove to you just WHO belongs in the dirt." He declared, with as much emotion as he could muster.
Which wasnt much.

"Heh" Flint couldn't help but let out a chuckle at Volkner's expense; it being pitiful to him that it actually seemed like the electric type was putting as much emotion he could into his last words. "Took way too long to finally get a damn response out of ya'" He continued; still snickering a little under his breath from the comical tone that the Shinx's speech came out like."Think I'm gonna let that settle in for awhile; ciao~" He stated before once again turning away from Volkner to take his leave.

The Gardevoir finally lit his cigar once outside, giving the Skarmory a moment to realize it was no longer in the Palace of the Moon.
Sometimes it took other Pokemon a moment to realize they had been teleported.
Once outside the magnetic field that Spike's security system made, Alfred frowned when his psychic senses suddenly picked something up.
Huh. So...this wasnt really a Skarmory.
That, so far, was all he got from the current vibes and he was not the type to read anothers mind without permission so he didnt bother. Still, this guy was sending out some conflicted feelings.
Man, sometimes he really hated being an emotion reading Pokemon.
"I would suggest not coming back. It might end badly for you." With that he turned and began to walk away rather than teleport since, A) It wasnt worth the effort and B) He was fairly certain there was a quiet place to relax around her somewhere. Away from the goings on of the Moon Guild.

 PeterPeter blinked a few times before realizing what had happened.
He then listened to what Alfred had to say, cackling afterward.
"To me, that isn't threatening at all, kid," He said.
"Things won't end badly for me... Because I have no end~"

The Gardevoir shrugged lightly. So what, this...whatever it was, though he was immortal?
So did every other power hungry Pokemon in existence. Selena being possibly the first in line.
"Sure. Do what you want. Your funeral." He waved a hand nonchalantly at the Skarmory, not walking off just yet.
He didnt read anyones mind without their consent, but that didnt stop him from picking up any thoughts that were being projected.
Mind reading was like listening to the radio. You could listen to only what was currently playing and had no say in the song choice.
What he was getting right now was concerning. To describe it would be like being fully submerged in ice the color of coal.
Black ice with spider web cracks all along the surface.
Very forboding, but...this moron of a Pokemon didnt seem that threatening.

Alfred crossed his arms tightly across his chest. That had been...disturbing to say the least.
He'd never sensed anything like that before. Very dark, very creepy.
He sighed, expelling smoke from his mouth as well and turned to walk into the direction he figured the church was at.
He'd chill there for a while then head back to the guild to replay the conversation with Lancer or Spira.
Whoever he bumped into first.

Jazz"I guess so. How about we go check out over th-"A loud hyena-like cackle cut him off, and the Pikachu nearly fell from his perch on the Typhlosion's shoulder. "Little Sun Guild Mareep, away from their sheperd, watch out or the big bad wolf will get you~" The same voice sang out in a whimsical tone, laughter echoing in every direction to the point where Jazz could not pinpoint it. "Siggy..." He warned, ears flattening.
