Abe gave Serenade a sad smile. Poor thing.
"I'd rather live further out than the moon." She commented. "It's more interesting."
Considering their lives had been mostly constant battling, that was one way of putting it. Still, she wanted Serenade to know that she didn't mind. And that she had bubble-wrap in a perfectly Princess cut back home. Eventually she would catch her unawares....

Pierrette smiled at Abeline.
"Space must be nice..." was all she said as she picked up a question.
"Would you rather wear some kind of hideously outmoded..."
Pierrette blinked.
"... Dress, or lose one of your shoes in a sewer grate?"
Pierrette looked up from the slip of paper and put it back in the bowl.
"I honestly don't know what outmoded means," she shrugged sheepishly. "But, I love my shoes. I love each and every pair of my shoes, they are special and cute and... I love them. I couldn't imagine losing one of them, so I'd most definitely rather wear an ugly dress than lose a shoe."

Imo looked between the girls, picking up that Ally (whoever that was) indeed important to them. It made her horribly curious but as much as she wanted to pry she got the feeling it was best not to.
"I think space would get...lonely and dull, unless you had people with you and even then -" She shrugged. It struck her has being a very big empty place to be and as stunning as seeing stars and planets would be she'd miss all the things that were here on earth. And what if you didn't get on with the people you were with? What if you didn't have someone you loved amongst them? She didn't know why but she felt firmly against the space idea as she plucked her question from the bowl.
"Teddy bears or dolls?" Imo giggled. Far off from the notion of important people who were presumably far away and far off from space too. Teddy bears or dolls seemed such a silly little question.
"I don't really have a preference. When I was very little I used to have a cat toy I took everywhere with me though, so I suppose that counts as a teddy."

((haha, give the hair-fetishist the perfect question!))
Abeline had been one of those girls who had collected any sort of stuffed animal as a child, her bedroom still contained a virtual horde of fluffy bodies hiding in the closet.
With a flourish, she drew another piece of paper.
"If you had a choice, what color would you like your hair to be?"
This perhaps did not cause the casual, calm and cool reaction that most might have come to expect from Froust. After all, she never seemed to get really excited or terrified or emotional about anything. She was cool. Ice cool. But this, mention of.. of all things, hair color? Why on earth would that cause the prima dona to literally squeak and shift around like ants had suddenly marched up her pants.
"That's a very personal question..." And then she realized that she had mumbled that so she declared her unwillingness to answer by.. well... "WHITE!NO!RED! she looked at Imogen and the Pierette. Ohgod. "No, its white. I like white. I mean, its pretty and...." back and forth between Imogen and Pierrette, like a tennis ball her head darted. "Red is very nice. But I like white. I mean, I like red too. I especially liked it. But now its white. Ohgod I am so confused." Yes, yes she had just said that outloud. Abe took a quick gulp of her green tea and decided that her foot was already too far in, she'd have to keep going. "Not about hair, though. No. I am not confused about that. Wait.. the question was about my hair? Oh... uhmm.... I don't know? I like it... maybe I'd try out a strawberry blonde or something?"
And then, as though she realized that most of what she had said seemed intangible. "Because it is pretty not because its like a mix between---" And then she sat back, took a long soothing breath and her face cooled down. Force of will. "Perhaps someone else should take a piece of paper?"
And no one would suspect a thing. Because Froust did not blabber or gush or squirm like a teenaged girl. She was refined and sophisticated. Why such a question should worry her... well it didn't because they had seen nothing. Nothing at all.
Abe wondered if senshi could do jedi mind tricks.... well, she knew one senshi who could. Perhaps she could save herself having to murder all these people by having Serenade wipe their memories.
Because Abe was very responsible with her uses of power.

Fallon was in the same boat as Imogen. She knew that this person must be important, but she had no idea how. Judging by the candor in the room, it might be inappropriate to ask. Besides, the hostess did not want to turn the dinner party into some kind of sobfest. They were playing a game!
Abeline's reaction brought a confused stare from Fallon and then a sputtering laugh. "I don't think I put alcohol in your tea," she said, taking the offered bowl. "But maybe I should check again?" Fallon wasn't sure how the girl would react to a little gentle ribbing, but she took the risk.
Oh, and it was her turn. She pulled out a slip and read, "Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or white chocolate?" The paper hung limply in her fingers. Not a very deep question, but that was fine with Fallon. She'd rather the others expose their feelings in her place.
Pressing a painted nail to her lips, Fallon though of the time in the mall where a tall boy in a bright yellow hat had screamed, "HEY, MILK CHOCOLATE! SHAKE IT OVER THIS WAY AT ME!" Really, boys -- how did the straight girls deal with that kind of attention? And how could they actually like it?
"Dark chocolate is probably my favorite, but I like them all. The dark just has a bitter, earthy taste that I prefer. It depends on what I'm cooking which one I'll use." The words stirred something. "Oh, I actually have a little chocolate truffle on a puff pastry if anyone is interested. I've boxed them up so you can take one to go before you leave. No one let me forget." As if she would? Her eyes found the clock. Hm, they'd probably have time for one more round.
Fallon passed the bowl to Melinda. "You're up again, Mel," she said.

Abeline took the ribbing as well as Abe took any ribbing ever. She looed in concern down at her cup before she realized that Fallon was teasing her. Her ears turned pink and she took a sip of the tea. Hair was a delicate subject for Abeline. Afterall, you couldn't just date anyone with any type of hair. It had to be... well... she squirmed again. She wasn't going to explain such complicated things!
Ohhh, that did it. She was going to ask Serenade to wipe their memories! And then no one would have to know.
It was the perfect plan.

Imo would have had to be blind not to see how Abeline glanced between her and Pierette so while she agonized over red vs. white hair. The more she got to know Abe, the less frosty the Froust girl seemed sometimes. She could get so flustered and worked up over simple things or zone out entirely - it was kind of cute.
Though she'd much rather have redhair than white herself. With her pale skin she'd look like a ghost with white hair. What kind of chocolate though...

The food was eaten, the questions asked, the merriment had.
Fallon considered the dinner party a success (oh, weren't they all?) and whisked everyone out her door with warm smiles promptly at 9:00PM. Even Elke -- the girl who seemed so close to the people that Fallon could only hope to be close to -- received a light hug and a wave. There was a lot to think about after that night, but for now, Fallon would focus on cleaning up and rearranging her room.
This, too, made her happy beyond happy.
