Cascade smiled and nuzzled up against Kafun. "I think I'll be ok, as long as your by my side to protect me, I'd travel anywhere with you." She licked his nose and gave him a deep passionate kiss. She leaned against him again and started to walk towards the cave. She looked to the sky, the sun was still shinning, but in the distance some darker clouds were starting to close in. She smelled the air, it held a faint smell of rain as she was sensitive to changes in the weather. " A storm is threatening to let loose it seems, we might want to get a move on...we may need the cave for shelter....great...", she said a little weary thinking of the pitch darkness of the cave. She gave a sarcastic like smile and stuck close to Kafun.

Kafun couldnt help but laugh at her sarcastic tone of voice. She was scared and he knew he shouldnt laugh but she was just so cute it was hard not to. His ears twitched as he listend to the storm. "Your right and it sounds like its picking up its pace,"He nudged her forward so she would get into the cave first if it decided to rain right than and there"Lets get inside it will be dry and safe there."

Cascade nodded her head head into the mouth of the cave, she didn't go far in, she stayed in what dim light was just inside. When Kafun entered she stuck close to his side and nuzzled into his chest a bit

Kafun put a paw around her to give her a hug knowing she was uncomfortable."Further in or stay here? Its your choice love."He spoke to her in soft soothing tones. Kissing her gently.

Cascade smiled at him, he made her feel so much better. "We can go in a little further, the clouds are right above us now, the storm could start anytime. I like to watch lightning, it's another beautiful natural phenomena. Possible my favorite next to the changing of oceanic tides based on the moon.", she blushed a bit as she felt she was getting a little weird, but smiled and moved a little further inside the cave, still keeping close to Kafun.

"Moon ocean veiw. Sounds very nice. I would love to see it some time with you."He let her lead a little. Staying right next to her but letting her go just as deep as she wanted with out her feeling pressured by him.

Cascade stopped after another few steps and looked at Kafun. "Once the storm passes Ill take you to one of my fav. viewing spots. Maybe we can have a pick-nick?", she smiled and kissed his cheek. She took a few more steps in, when the sound of the rain began to echo through the cave, followed by a clap of thunder that shook the cave floor. Catching her by surprise she let a small yelp out as she lost her balance and fell against Kafun. She was looking into his eyes a bright purple flash of lightning illuminated to cave. "Wow......your eyes seem to dance in the light...it's beautiful", hes words drifted as she leaned in and kissed him.

Kafun's face turned bright red as she talked about his eyes. No one had ever commented on his eyes. Always how strange his markings were and if they were real or not but never his eyes. He smiled as she kissed him and he kissed her right on back. "My Angel your eyes beat mine by a ton. There is no comparison at all."

Cascade blushed a bit, but shook her head. "I can't agree with you there, your eyes are far more mysterious and entrancing then mine. I truly get lost in them." She kissed his cheek, right under his eye and then cuddled into him to watch the storm rage outside.

Kafun shook his head telling her no but didnt argue with her. He didnt see the point nor did he want to upset her. So instead he pulled her under him and wrapped all the way around her making sure he kept her safe and warm as they watched the storm.

Cascade couldn't be happier, she had completely forgotten the fact they were in a cave. She snuggled close to Kafun and laid in his arms watching the lightning and listening to the rain and thunder as if it were a lullaby. She looked up at Kafun and gave him a deep passionate kiss and whispered, "I love you, always...". She then drifted off to sleep feeling safe in Kafun's arms.

Kafun smiled as she kissed him and watched her go to sleep. As she did he stayed up to watch her and hummed a lullaby. He stayed up watching the storm go on and making sure everything was fine.

Cascade awoke to the sound of humming. Kafun was humming. She glanced at the cave entrance, the rain had lightened, but was still going on. As another crash of thunder and flash of lightning she glanced up at Kafun's Maroon eyes and smiled "You have a beautiful voice. How long was I asleep?" She sat up and gave him a peck on the cheek and leaned on his shoulder watching the rain.

Smiling Kafun licked Cascades cheek as she woke up. "Hello my Sleeping Beauty." Nuzzling her cheek he answerd her question "Almost an hour or so why?" Looking into her eyes he said "Your eyes are like the most beautiful sea colored emerald that capture my heart and soul. Which I would gladly let you keep prisoner inside you."

Cascade giggled a bit, "No, reason I was just curious." She smiled and stared back into his eyes, and hung on his every word. His words were beautiful, she could not top him this time. She was blushing as she kissed him. "You are quite the poet as well. Im not one for conquering, I trust you with my heart and soul, that is way I give mine to you. I expect nothing but your love in return.", she spoke her words softly, but she'd never said truer words as she leaned in again and kissed him, never wanting to let go.
