I did for the fullsize pictures but not for the halfbody ones, which are the ones I really need to make transparent.
I shouldn't have rushed and saved them all in jpeg AGHHHH

So with the halfbodies you drew them all in one layer? Man, you should make a habit of using a looot of layers when you draw for when things like this happen. xD If it's too late, you can always just erase the background manually - free-hand, Magic Wand, Pen Tool, whichever tool you're most comfortable with. Just be sure to save it as PNG after so the transparency remains.
...You're using Photoshop, right?

Well Bapp, I've used GIMP quite a bit, and it functions very similar to PS if what I've heard is correct
But only for modifying, not much for actual coloring, but I still haven't needed to do that much

I think I can handle coloring now though. It's gotten easier once I've done a whole bunch.
Can GIMP remove backgrounds? My photoshop is faulty.
I used PaintTool SAI to color the images then I cropped it to get the halfbody before changing the faces.

Well I still just need to take out the white backgrounds so I can get started with the busier stuff, where I might find more things I need people to do...
