A shadow disapears behind the library. It lurks to the side and watches as villagers pass by the library. He looks over to notice a woman walking by, alone, and out of sight of anyone. As he heads to the library. A hand suddenly reaches out and grabs her by her mouth and then by her waist. Nothing is heard.

"Sorry, but you will become an example..."

Nothing but the quiet sound of slicing flesh is heard as a small pool of blood runs out of the corner of the library. Other villagers pass and look, but nothing is there.

The robed shinobi snuck to the side of the library, masking his chakra completely as to avoid an detection by the guards posted up front. Looking up, he found a single opened window. Grappling his hook on the ledge, the robed shinobi pulled himself up as he went through the window, landing softly inside the library. The librarian was closing up in the back, meaning he only had mere moments to do it. Dashing through the library, he found what he was looking for. Ever since the incident in Sand, he needed to learn how to change his vocal chords, train them in order to create different sounds and mask his voice. Finding the book on how to do so, he began sifting through the pages rapidly in order to learn the secrets of changing one's voice.

Taya arrived at the Library, still disguising herself as a merchant lady. She walked into the familiar building, remembering the missions that she had once done here. Taya stopped herself from reminiscing immediately, memories as such would only keep her yearning for her home. She moved with stealth through the rows and rows of books, looking for the 'D' section. She picked her way through the books, finally finding what she had been looking for. Taya grabbed the book from the shelf, and headed for a few more sections. Koutaya found what she needed under the 'B', 'R', and 'S' sections. She skillfully stashed them in her pack, and turned to head out of the place, lingering for a few moments.

Taya had not been expecting an on coming 'missile', and the hit knocked her to the ground, plus deactivated her transformation. Taya's heart jumped, and then she noticed who it was. "s**t, what the hell are you doing here?" Taya asked, a furious look about her. Crystal would probably notice the lack of a headband on Taya.

Taya all but swatted Crystal's hand away, and picked herself up. "My business is none of your concern, but I will enlighten you a bit. I am no longer apart of this Village, or any other Village." She spoke with coldness in her voice, something very un-Taya-like. On her person was an array of traveling equipment, as well as the stolen books. Taya shifted her body so the books were out of sight, as well as her items.

Crystal's calm sparked anger within Taya. "No, wait, what the hell is Akatsuki?"" Taya brushed the idea off, and then began to walk on. "Crystal, if you don't move..." Taya didn't exactly know what she was going to do, but whatever it was it was going to get ugly if she didn't move. She had no idea what Taya's heart felt like...almost that it froze over, and then shattered into 1 million pieces.

Taya sighed and stepped back, she didn't want to have to do this, but Crystal would complicate things. She reached into her pocket, and extricated a kunai. Taya seemed to be weighing it in her hand, though she was thinking about the impact of her actions. "I can't stay here, no matter what..." Taya seemed to be speaking to herself, not actually Crystal. Before she could begin to feel guilty, Taya lashed her arm out and released the kunai, aiming for Crystal's left shoulder. Her face was now devoid of emotion, and her body ready for action.
