"I am Magus-General Joe Simpson, of the Hunters' Coven, avatar of the Mighty Consul Iblis of the Djinni," he said to Merasha.
After that, he watched everything that happened silently, watching the door with one eye.

Krisa growled for a moment, trying to decide her best course of action. After a while, she dropped down to all fours, relaxing a bit. "Very well. If that's what it takes to return me to my rightful home, I will help. Is there a plan in place yet?"

"I'm with you, Krisa," Joe said, finding that he liked her already. "We're going to wait until the guards come in here, then ambush them and escape. From there, we find her half-brother and go home."

Krisa glared at the human. She wasn't sure she liked this stranger calling her by her nickname, but hopefully in a short amount of time, it wouldn't matter anyway, so she let it go. Flexing her claws, she gave a feral smile. "I think I can handle that. Dead or just maimed?"

Joe's flaming eye flashed brighter for a moment as he returned the smile. "Let's just see what you can do, huh? Kill em if you can, and let's see who can get more."
He drew his sword and the magical pressure skyrocketed again.

At first Krisa was insulted by Joe's words, but then she heard the challenge in them. She smiled, flexing her claws as she created a batch of hail stones and sent them crashing into the wall. "Oh, we shall see, won't we?"

A wave of relief eased through Merasha as the sound was just the fourth of the supposed five the spell was supposed to summon managed to appear. "Oh... my! What a feral demon! Merasha said before she could think against the comment. This cat-like creature, and Joe, were a lot more like what she'd anticipated to come through.
Merasha clasped her hands together. "Greetings, demon, I am your summoner, Merasha... that is... um..." she went silent and quietly observed the interactions of the cat person, who came to introduce herself as Krisafia, and the others. Once Joe so kindly, and briefly, updated the new arrival on the situation at hand, she was about to make a suggestion... only to have the creature attack the wall. The hailstones bedded into the wall, their coldness quickly cracking its stone surface. However, it did not make a hole, as the stone was very thick, but certainly weakened it to the extent where further damage could decimate it.
"Wait... we were going to just lure them.... nevermind."
Sure enough outside in the corridor there was the sound of heavy feet running, and the chinking noise of metal being jostled. Soon voices became apparent, but the words indistinguishable from the din of noise outside. There certainly was a tone of excitement from the outside, and the sound of metal creaking could be heard, followed by a BANG as the wooden inner door was crashed open. Standing in the doorway were two guards armed with halberds. From the sounds of it, there were more in the hallway.
In fact, there were six more, to be precise, wearing full plate and visored helmets. The two in the furthest rear were hulking men with large battle axes, while the other four poised in the hallway were average builds carrying short swords, and having offhand daggers at the ready. None of them had the sense of magical capability.
Talmaya jumped at the flashing, quickly throwing her hands over her face for a moment. However, when things seemed to calm again, she lowered her hands to behold the strange, fur covered creature. She stared at it with wide eyes for a moment, then squinted. "Is it... is it a Noczivotian?" she wondered out loud. Certainly, the cat like attributes were like a tribe of beastmen from her own world... but this one was different. It felt... it had the feeling of an element. In fact, everyone, save for the summoner, had a primal feeling of magic about them. Talmaya remained aloof from the rest as she quietly turned to the door, cautiously going near it and examining it. However, when alerted to the noise of the approaching guards, she hopped back, gawking at the door in anticipation.
Seeing the guards arrive, she rolled up her sleeves and spread out her hands, moisture gathering and condensing in glubular orbs at her finger tips.
((Alright, I will say this now. These guards will be auto-hit okay, and it's alright for you to control their actions, but do NOT take liberties of any auto-actions against any future NPC's I bring in unless I specify otherwise.))

Rena gasped when she heard the incoming guards, and quickly she flew over to her master and stood by her side defensively. She knew that the others would attack the guards, so it was up to her to defend her master in case of a sneak attack. She had seen it often in the jungle, the main wolf pack would attack from the front, while a few would circle around and attack from the rear as well. Giving a small gulp, she said to her master. "Don't worry master, I won't let them get to you no matter what!" Her eyes were looking around all sides, since she had heard of magic that instantly moved you from one place to another, kind of like summoning except a circle isn't needed at the exit, only the entrance.

Merasha gave a genuine smile over to Rena, being reassured that at least one of her summons was the loyal servant described in the stories she'd heard. However, there was a small pang acknowledging that she was perhaps the weakest member that had come through. Still... this small being was probably more potent than her, a lowly apprentice.

Joe cracked his knuckles and spun to face the door, his flaming eye flashing bright as he roared, "Master Iblis! Fill me with your power!" He held out his hands and inhaled.
Nothing.
Joe couldn't access the power of his Patron from this Sphere. That might be a problem, but at least he had discovered it here, and not in a life-or-death battle. He could still handle these mundane fools without outside help.
He clapped his hands; they sounded much louder than they should have. Then he pushed them forward, and the hall in front of him was full, from wall to wall and floor to ceiling, with a raging torrent of fire that would literally incinerate the guards in the way.

WOOOSH
Amidst the roaring of the conjured flames, screams of agony could be heard competing with the cracking of the billowing inferno created by Joe. A disgusting smell of cooked meat, burnt hair, and charred metal quickly befouled the room, wafting in from the corridor after the screaming subsided. There was a distinct clanking that got quieter and quieter with the rhythm, or lack oif rhythm, of someone retreating.
Another response to the sudden burst of fire caused a minor explosion of the wall where Krisafia had cast her hail. Shards of distorted stone and other debris went shooting in all directions, including towards Krisafia. A large hole showing the immolated hallway was all that was left. However, the room itself remained sturdy despite the sudden loss of a chunk of wall.
Another clap, not quite as loud as the one which combusted the air, resounded as Merasha applauded. "Yes! YES! This is exactly what I was talking about! Ruthless, powerful... there's no way they can keep me here any longer! Olance will pay for putting me here!" Perhaps Merasha sounded a tad bit too enthusiastic about the carnage. She was about to say something further, but her gag reflexes had kicked in and she gasped, then cringed. Quickly her hand was to her face, covering her nose and mouth as she coughed.
When the flood of fire poured out of the room and into the hallway, Talmaya withdrew her hands with a yelp of surprise, as the orbs of water she had been conjuring turned to steam, scalding her hands. Blowing on them and shaking them, she turned a contemptuous eye on Joe, but said nothing as he was just doing what he was summoned to do. Backing away from the fire and heading closer to the snow leopard, she brought forth more water and bathed her hands in it, trying to cool them down and minimize the burning.

Rena gasped as debris from the wall shot out, and by reacting quickly, she raised up her hands. Her small body began to glow and a change in the air could be felt as a small current of wind surrounded her and her master, the strong current took the incoming debris and redirected it off of the tower and into the water below. Once the threat of debris was over, she carefully returned the wind to it's original current. Her body stopped glowing as she lowered her hands and gave a small sigh. Looking up at her master, she said with a giggle. "I might not be very strong, but I'll still be your shield oka-" She was cut off when her master began to cough violently. "Wah, master! Are you okay?" She looked at her with worried eyes.

Cough. Cough. Sputter. Amidst the coughing Merasha put her other hand out to Rena, signalling for her to give her space. After a while, she turned her hand outward, shielding her nose with the back of her wrist. Her eyes were watery from the coughing when she finally spoke. "The smell..." she croaked.

"Umm ummm.." If it was the smell that was getting to her, then she could help with that as well! Her body glowed as she raised up her hands again, taking a nearby current of wind and wrapping it around her master, blowing rapidly as it pushed the smell out of her immediate area. She maintained this current for a good thirty seconds before her body began to feel fatigue. With a movement of her hands, she returned the current to it's original position and said to her master. "I hope that helped a little. I don't want master to be coughing so much okay?"

As the thick stench was lifted from arund her, blown away by the helpful fairy, Merasha breathed in a sigh of relief. First, she protected her from debris, then she swept the worst of the smell away. Merasha lowered her hand and smiled to rena, giving a nod of approval. "You are very good, Rena." She moved a little closer to the wind fairy and said quietly, her head close to her ear, "You're master's favorite."
