Santa would use the Death Note to kill naughty children, but that would catch the attention of L. Since Santa's not as smart as Light, he would get caught by L and given the death penalty. L would also discover Death Note, which would be a big problem for all the other holders out there. Christmas will stop existing because Santa wouldn't be around to give gifts anymore.

o dear...Santa having the Death Note is definitely NOT a good idea...
many children will die..
think of the future population of the Earth.
There will be limited numbers of people left in the world! yay...i mean nay.
Elves will be out of a job too!
less presents to be made...

Yeah! Santa would probably get fed up with his job and end up killing half the worlds population just because of it! What wouod we do once L caught Santa though?? I for one, would nominate L to become the new Santa. While solving crimes at the same time. 3nodding

I think if that happend I would have to send a letter to our new 'Santa' saying, "All I want for Christmas is L" 4laugh And it would give a fan girls a reason to sing out, "Santa baby, come hurry down my chimmney tonight."

That would clearly redefine the naughty list. XD Although it might give some kids more reason to be good besides dreading coal in their stockings...
"You'd better not be bad, Jimmy, or Santa will give you a heart attack for Christmas..."
L would be interesting as the new Santa, but I'm sure he'd love all the cookies left out for him. That might be enough motivation for him taking the job. Billions of sweets, all for him. The sled could give him access to crime scenes all over the world. It also would make for some very interesting chases.
Just had an image of L arriving to catch Higuchi on Rudolph instead of that helicopter... o.O
