Mark made his way from the park to a small cemetery he stood still in front of a familiar grave. He remembered that he can't be a leader of the Trisks if he can't keep his focus on the task at hand. Their was no time to regret of get upset about something that happened all u can do is figure out whats next.
Mark left the cemetery and headed back to HQ. The secretary had no calls for him when he got in. "Okay then. No one can see me unless its Evian or we are literally being slaughtered. Got it?"
"Yes sir."

Entering the large, familiar building James headed to one of the smaller stores on the ground floor, grabbing a cup of tea. He'd planned to just sit and have some quiet time to himself but his plan was foiled when a young couple approached him, the woman's stomach slightly swollen with pregnancy. "Sorry to bother you doctor...but we're worried about the baby. The books talk about all these different-" the man started to explained, holding Lin's hand tightly. "Jian, Lin...try not to worry alright? I'm sure everything is fine with the little one. Your just being good, nervous first time parents," James explained with a shake of his head, even though he was grinning. "Tell you what though, I'll have a look for you to make sure...on the condition that you invite me to every single birthday party at least until the kids sick of me," Lin, clearly much calmer now smiled and gave him a friendly punch to the shoulder, before the three of them made their way upstairs to the medical area. With so many people living under the Si roof this sort of thing happened frequently to the doctor. He'd grown to like it, as it allowed him to catch up with people who he might not see for weeks at a time otherwise.

Kurushi awoke bleary eyed. His hair was a mess, it stuck out all over the place. He got out of bed and went to the small bathroom attached to his room and got straight into the shower. Tiredly he let the water wash over him and he groaned gently. "Focus Kurushi. You need to focus." He said to himself and then. "What the hell does it matter?" Kurushi got out of the shower and shaved meticulously. He went into his room and dressed, putting on a brown and white striped polo, jeans and brown converses. He grabbed a green hoodie from the closet and headed downstairs.
Kit hummed softly to herself as she moved about the kitchen. She wore a long flowing black dress with pink lines on the hips and her hair had green and pink streaks in it today. She took the cookies she was making out of the oven and smiled at Kurushi as he entered the room. She handed him an oatmeal cookie and he took it happily.

Evian swung down from the rooftop, her hands catching the railing of a fire escape, easily dropping down level per level. It didn't take long for her to land lightly on the ground, stretching her hands lest they tense up. May as well report back. Sighing, she frowned to herself, personally hoping Mark would be fine with her lack of info. Man she wanted to just go and drink with some friends.... But business did come first.
It didn't take her too long before she reached their headquarters, heading up to his office. Taking a deep, steadying breath, she knocked on the door lightly, brushing her blonde hair out of her eyes. This'll be interesting.

Talis sat in his chair. His face told that he'd had one of those days you wish you didn't. As Evian entered he found himself noticing how attractive she was but snapped back quickly it was a time for business. Evian's face showed a lot of what was to come.
"I can tell from your face that your target was a dead end?"

Evian opened the door and walked in, closing it softly behind herself. She was about to open her mouth to speak but stopped short since he spoke. Sighing, she frowned, placing her hands on her hips. "Am I really that easy to read? And here I was thinking I wasn't... " She noticed his expression, but she said nothing of it since it was probably better not to, instead walking in more and flopped down in one of the chairs.
"Nah, the girl knew nothing and she had an alibi that checked out. She was off on another target. Since she's so specialized she doesn't receive any info. So, we're back to square one." She answered, crossing her legs.

"I've decided we should put this issue on hold for the time being." Talis said calmly as he reclined in his chair. " It is not fair of one in my position to abuse the power i have on selfish tasks and wasting resources such as the skills you possess in order to fill those selfish requests" Mark felt relieved to tell Evian that he'd given up the pursuit that haunted him.
"On more pressing matters i think it's time to up our intel on all the clans in this city and make sure our turf stays our turf."

Evian raised an eyebrow, folding her arms over her chest. "Eh? Mmm, it's not selfish. Not really I don't think. Someone had to have killed him. Just a matter of finding out who." She murmured, lowering her eyes with a light sigh. "But probably better to focus on other matters this is true. It is not good to dwell on what has passed. I know James wouldn't have wanted it." She said softly, lowering her eyes.
Taking a deep breath, she frowned a little, but then again... he was the boss. "I seriously doubt the other gangs would press for turf. The others seem pretty comfortable with the contract we have set up. But you're the boss man. Doesn't hurt to have intel." Pushing herself up, she placed her hands on her hips, tilting her head a little. "So, orders?"

Mark trifled through some extremely disorganized files. "Nothing serious yet just some routine perimeter checks and security assessments..... i feel like something bigs gonna happen and i want us ready for it. The days of beer all day are over...." Mark gave a sharp laugh and pounded on his desk chuckling. " Who am I kidding? We'll still drink till we cant stand!, but the clan comes first"

Evian just sighed heavily, oh great... dull work. She'd have to make sure the men stayed sharp. She raised an eyebrow, personally not minding the thought of beer ending. She was a horrible irish-woman. She didn't say it though. "Please, if the men don't get their drink, they'd riot I should think." She chuckled, shaking her head as she turned to head out the door.
"Is that all Mark? I better go make sure they don't slack off." She asked, wanting a drink herself. She had some personal matters she wanted to sort out.

"That's all. Unless you have something else on your mind?" Mark badly sorted the files on his desk.

Evian frowned, her eyebrow twitching as she walked over to his desk, slapping the top of his hands. "It's not that goddamn difficult to file papers." She muttered, getting them organized within a few minutes. With that she turned again to the door. If you need me for something, call me." She called back, opening the door. With that she stepped out, jamming her hands in her pockets. Her long blonde hair swayed side to side as she walked, nodding to some members she passed. She have to head to her office to do what she needed to to in order to let people know what was up.

(Sorry for my absence))
Kurushi walked slowly towards the post he was in charge of. He waved to some other people that were out and about, the bokken at his side declaring what he was. When he arrived the three others that manned the post with him saluted. He returned it and sat down. It was to be another long boring day in the house of Sakura.
Kit hummed gently as she painted the clan's emblem on the mural. It was the first one she had complete. Somehow. She thought it was because of the help she had had and the fact that Kurushi would want her to do a good job. She wiped her brow and smiled at the small boy who had helped her. She waved him over and handed him a five dollar bill. "Go get me a coke and you a icecream."

Despite the darkness of the night, Yue still made her way down the mountain back into her home, feeling better now that she had done her due diligence towards her parents. The monks offered to allow her to stay, but she felt better in her headquarters with her people. One never knew if a crisis were going to hit or not.
It was soon almost eleven by the time she got back, glad to see the shops closed down on the first floor. She slowly made her way up the stairs, checking the rooms, not bothering James in case he were busy with a client. It was quiet, and she both liked it and didn't. It still somehow made her antsy. Could just be paranoia, but she didn't think so. Years of instinct. Something was going to happen, she just didn't know what yet or when exactly.
Heading up to her office, she looked over the stack of papers that were there, sighing as she flicked on the light and began to go through them, planning on getting sleep a bit later.
