Kipcha
As Vakia walked off towards the shade, Kipcha remained where she was, laid down, and looked at her wounds. Her side pulsed with pain, and standing became a strainuous thing to do. She gently nosed it as she answered, "Greetings, Vakia. I am Kipcha." A muffled yip escaped her as she accidentilly put too much force on her side. Staring at her side, she knew that this injury would last for another day or so, but it would cripple her for now.

Kimi flicked her ears.She new she heared something.It was very faint, but still that means there is hope.She got up and shook off the fog. I will get out she thought determined. She looked around her cage wildly. Then she spotted a latch. Hmm.......I wonder she whispered to herself.
She started to toy with the latch with her mouth.Almost there......... Got it! she huffed out excitedly. Kimi jumped out of her cage.She was searching for a door way when she notice light from far away.Kimi ran as fas as she could, for how small she was you would think she was slow and weak but you got her all wrong.When she ran she felt like she could run forever, like she could climb the highest mountain, soar like the most wonderful eagle.Oh it was the biggest rush ever.But as she got closer the light grew brighter and much hotter.She stopped to a halt.Wow she said in amazment.She peeked throught the hole and breathed in the warmth of the very hot sun.There was the most wolves she has ever seen in her life.She shyly walked out of the hole and into the light.Some wolves noticed her and looked down at here at here feet, H-hello she stammered nervously.

Vakia pondered the name of the female. Kipcha.... She'd never heard it before. It was so strange, it even sounded cold like the femme's home. Kipcha flinched and Vakia looked at her, worried. "You ok?" she asked, her tongue lolling out of her mouth in the heat. Suddenly another femme emerged from the plane. The heat had probably masked her scent, and all the commotion had made it almost impossible to hear.
Vakia cried out. "Hey! You ok?" Same question twice already she thought to herself.

Kimi turned a noticed the femme that called to her.The heat was starting to get to her and she noticed that she was panting heavily.She was walking towards the femme but she only made it half way before colapsing.I..... think.......so, she said between her breaths.I wonder why everthing is spinning....She was thinking before she asked, Hey do you know where any water is?She looked around hopefully.

Lox looking around scared limping lightly from wondering around alone. As she spotted the pack she starts to wagging her tail. She runs towards them thinking theres safety and food.

Ѵคҡїค Vakia heard the feeble response and trotted over as the pup began running towards the gathered wolves. She felt like an idiot. Hadn't even thought of water... She sniffed the air, but she couldn't make out anything. She smiled at the pup, happy that she was moving.
The arabian thought quickly. If she could find a path...maybe a grove of trees, there would be water there. She swept her gaze across the landscape, watching the tall grass move slightly. "I'll try and find some, ok?" she said, eager to do something, and not just stand around and wait.
She spotted a grove of trees off in the distance, and some green beneath them. "Be back as soon as I can!" she started off at a fast pace, her lungs sucking in the simmering air and breathing it out as fast as they could. The grass parted before her as she moved, hoping there was nothing hiding in the foliage ahead.

Kimi looked up. O-okay she stammered weakly.She crawled towards the safe shade of the tree. she was so thirsty and her tummy was clenched in hunger.At least i am out of that cage she thought.She lied down and scoped out her suroundings waiting for the femme to come back.

Kipcha
Kipcha's ears flicked at the voice of the approaching pup as it answered Vakia. Lifting herself from laying to a sitting position, she watched as Vakia trotted off across the grasses, and called out to her as she left, "Do be careful, Vakia."
Seeing that Vakia was some ways away now, although it pained her, Kipcha stood up and curiously went towards the same shade to hopefully gain introductions at the least. Settling back down in the cool comfort of the shade, Kipcha spoke to the pup, "You seem very tired and young, Uiviilaq (Child). Do you have a name?" Her tail twitched, the heat was becoming increasingly annoying to her.

[[Hey guys! I've opened another section for profiles called "Natives"! If you want to have a character native to Africa (like my new cheetah character!) send me a profile! (fill out the same skeleton) You can be a help, a hinderance, apathetcic observer etc. HOWEVER You may only (because wolves cannot be vegetarians) be a carnivore. Think of it like, carnivores speak one language and herbivores another. It'd be weird if you were a zebra and the pack was like "Let's go hunting! O_O ]]
Tafiti was crouched low in the grass, watching the young zebra gnaw on the side of a small bush. An inaudible growl rumbled in his chest, barely there. His claws gently scraped the soft earth as he prepared to pounce. Suddenly, the yearling's ears perked, it's nostrils flared, and it took off into the brush. Tafiti's eyes went wide before he leapt into action. His powerful legs devoured the ground beneath him, the zebra getting closer and closer. He pushed harder, his footfalls becoming more eager, when he tripped.
He tripped and rolled forward, his tail flipping wildly about as dirt filled his mouth and covered his fur. When he finally stopped rolling, his back legs were over his shoulders and he knew he'd be covered in bruises. When he opened his eyes, he saw, through the dust, a strange creature. It looked like a hyena, but with more grace, finer lines. A beautiful creature in fact.
The strange canine's ears flicked, its mouth hung open. The cheetah stood, looking the animal in the eyes. "What are you?"

Ѵคҡїค Vakia could do nothing for a few seconds. "A-a-a-an Arabian wolf" she stammered in response. The creature standing there had deep brown eyes with small dark pupils."What are you?!" she asked quickly. She had never seen anything like this creature. He was orange! His coat was ike a Jaffa orange covered in black spots. Her head cocked as she examined him further.
"I'm a Duma" the creature said. Vakia's head just cocked further. "A Duma?" she repeated. "Yeah....", it said, "a cheetah". His tail flicked back and forth, the end covered in white fluff.
A million questions flooded into her head, but one jumped out. "Water!" she exclaimed. "Where can I find some water?"

Tafiti listened. Maybe there are others like her? he thought to himself. Occasionally some human's dog would get away from their village and join a pack of wild dogs or hyenas, but they never lasted long. This creature knew how to hunt.
"Yes, there's a watering hole not far. May I ask where you came from?" he asked. The canine was quiet. "The sky". Tafiti looked at her confused. Maybe it's just the heat

Tafiti led her to the watering hole that, thankfully, was completely empty. The wolf took several deep gulfs of water as Tafiti watched her.

Adaeze
Small clouds of dirt followed the footsteps of Adaeze as she trotted along. Her head was low and she kept a good pace, she looked like a regular Hyena, except for the ghoulish smile that was on her muzzle. She quietly talked to herself, and a high cackle would pierce the air, and soon be replaced by more gibberish from the uncanny beast. In an instant her emotion flipped and she angrily kicked a small rock along her path.
As she walked by, a hare suddenly darted from its place, and bounded along the high grasses. Adaeze simply laughed at the frightened hare, It should fear, all my prey should cower in the presence of the hunter, she thought to herself as she continued. Feeling a dryness in her throat, Adaeze turned her course towards the watering hole. As she neared, she spotted a cheetah and another creature lapping away at the water. At closer inspection, her maddened eyes at first thought the creature was a hyena, at which Adaeze almost let out an excited laugh, but as she stared, she saw it wasn't so. Angry at her mistake, she kept low to the grass and watched the creature she mistook as her kind, and tried to figure what it was.

Kimi looked at the new aproching femme.Umm..... my...name.She had to rack her brain for that one.Why can't i remember she thought.Then it came to her.My name is Kimi, she huffed excitedly.She got up and jumped around the femme.She was starting to feel much better and less sad.Whats your name? she said still bouncing.
