James made his way into the arena, focused, determined and ready for action. This was going to be an interesting fight, not unlike the one that they had had in the training car. However, he hoped that this time the outcome would be different. He didn't have a partner with him except for his summon. He held his right hand down to his side as he summoned his hexagun to his hand. His left hand reaching up to grab onto the coin around his neck, the memento of his wife who he wished was with him now. However, he knew that she was safe.
'You ready Fenrir?'
"As I will ever be. Do your best to keep distance away from him and you should be alright."
'Right.'
James' eyes narrowed as he looked across the field at his opponent, waiting for their match to start.
((I have a load of new abilities that Kyle and I just finished discussing yesterday but they're not in my profile yet. Hopefully I will have them up by today though so it's not completely new))
Important note:James' Lunar Charge count is now up to 14, also James' Dash range has increased to the maximum 30 feet.

Louis offered a big smile and wave towards James, uncharacteristic of the usually apathetic individual, "Well, this is going to be interesting, gunslinging versus fencing. Seems I'm at a disadvantage." Louis paused, placing a bent finger to his lips as he thought, "I'll take it you won't go easy on me? After all, what is a rapier to do against the bullets of a gun?" Louis shrugged and dropped into a low to the ground battle stance with his hand gripped firmly around the handle of his seethed blade, "Well, let's get this over with."

James smiled in return, this indeed was going to be an interesting fight. Louis didn't have his daggers or his rifle this time. He was right, that could potentially put the edge in the Corsair's favor. But he also knew that Louis was crafty and unpredictable. Regardless of the outcome this was going to be a good battle. He rested his left arm against his back as Louis spoke and then slid into a defensive position. James had a surprise for the fencer and it was very much a fitting move of the pirate spirit that he really had. He was channeling energy into the hand behind his back, spinning the now softball sized ball in his fingers. He hoped that his coat would be sufficient to hide it.
"You're absolutely right Louis. I'm not going to hold back!"
He finished the last words in a yell and as he did so he quickly raised the ball of energy above his head and threw it down on the ground. The Flash Bang creating a blinding flash of light that would last for about a second. He hoped that the light would make it so Louis couldn't see for a little bit as he quickly "dashed" at a 45 degree angle to the right. He then turned and fired a shot at the hopefully disoriented Shadow Mancer.
((This is going to be fun, and I look forward to reading your reply when I get back from my backpacking trip on Saturday. Basically saying, I have every intention of continuing this so DO NOT pick new combatants.))

A flash bang is instant, bright light for a split second that blinds someone, if it lasted 30 seconds, you'd be blinded too right now.)) [[Cue: History of the Moon by Uroboros]] Louis covered his eyes when the flash bang lit up, but his eyes were open just long enough to set in a lasting irritation. Despite this, his mind was already elsewhere, That was the distraction, where's the-There it was, the gun shot coming from his side. He ducked underneath, the bullet flying barely overhead. Louis sprang to the side, cartwheeling and cutting a rift out of space with his rapier, a dark portal open for only a moment long enough to suck him in. Half a second later, Louis reappeared behind James, flying out with the same momentum he had entered. His heel came down, missing the corsair by a mile, the unfortunate side effect of only estimating his position. Louis wasn't done yet, with the flash bang still in effect he couldn't open his eyes. Instead, he'd just have to take everything out. Louis took his sword and spun on his heel, pushing off with his other foot aided by a burst of darkness so than he appeared to almost hover in his crouched position and continue spinning as long as he needed to. Darkness trailed off of his blade and extended his reach. Above the darkness might seem like a moving buss saw or hurricane moving right at James with no intent on stopping.

((edited it, but how can you hope to dodge a bullet? the bang comes after the projectile has been fired. Will attempt to reply now but not sure if I do have the time if I don't I will reply Saturday. Looks like this is going to be a battle of music too XD)) {cue: Pain the Universe} The corsair vision was unimpeded by his own Flash Bang and he was even impressed that despite the blindness that Louis was able to dodge the bullet and he saw how he did it thanks to his instinctive senses. He watches as the Fencer disappeared into a darkness portal. 'He's here somewhere... Behind!The corsair sensed the darkness as the portal opened but also with his enhanced hearing allowing him to hear Louis' movements behind him. When he quickly turned he saw Louis coming in at him, spinning like a saw blade, his rapier leading. He quickly brought up his left hand and focused Lunar energy into it. He then swiped his hand three times, once diagonally to the right, horizontally to the left and then last straight down. As he did so, claws of Lunar Energy erupted flew off. The Wolf Fang Fist strikes aimed straight for Louis. Hoping to either stop or at least divert the human buzz saw.

((Yes, I was only just informed at exactly how fast bullets fly. I wasn't aware that this was the case but it doesn't matter. We both made some mistakes, let's just keep moving and not get caught up on details. No fun otherwise.))
Louis spun like a top, not stopping for a moment until her felt the first impact of the wolf fang fist broken in two by his own attack and rush beneath by his feet as a heavy gust of wind and over his face throwing his hair into a short flurry. The Second struck hit, effectively stopping his momentum and creating the same effect as the first. The 3rd came in as a final blow, clashing with his rapier with enough force to blast it out of his hand and embed it in the floor some distance away. Louis instinctively tried opening his eyes but shut them again a moment later due to the immense light pouring in, Dang, I can't function like this. I can't see so I can't attack. Somehow, he can still see and shoot accurately with that gun of his! Dang it! I need to think of something now!
Louis thought of only one quick solution, he wasn't sure if it'd work, but he tried it anyway. Pulling hard on his sleeve, Louis tore off a shred at the end, a long strip of cloth due to the widened ends customary of the Spiran coat. Out of his hand and into the cloth, he saturated as much darkness as he could into the material. He took the cloth and pulled it back over his eyes. The cloth writhed like it was alive and wrapped over his temples and around his ears. He opened his eyes then, suddenly unimpeded by the immense light, instead, he saw a constant shade of gray covering all he saw, like the static of an untuned TV. However in the center of his vision he could see a black silhouette, only a blob by comparison, but it was the only thing that stood out that he could see.
I can't tell what he's doing, but at least I can "see" him. This will have to do till that light goes out. IF it goes out, and I'm still unarmed... well, his close range still seems unrefined, maybe I have a chance if I can just get in close! Louis was already running forward bringing up his hands as loosely gripped fists. In a moment, he was close to James, swinging awkwardly at where he assumed would be his chest with two, significantly slower, consecutive strikes.

James watched, focused as the three strikes hit the spinning fencer. Glad that the second one killed the momentum and the third one did far more then he expected as it disarmed him.
'I wasn't entirely sure if that would or not... glad that it did.'
He then watched curiously, his head actually cocking to the side slightly as he watched him tear off a piece of his sleeve and effectively made a blindfold out of it.
'So he pulled a Riku... interesting.'
Whatever else Louis did though seemed to work as he came at the corsair. Still unarmed though he tried to strike at him. However, the strikes seemed slow as he tried to hit him with two consecutive strikes. Due to the lack of speed though he was easily able to jump back to avoid the strikes and countered with another three strikes of the Wolf Fang Fist.

Louis felt his opponent move away and watched the silhouette contorted and shifted in front of him, Not a gun shot... then it must be-
Louis thrust his fists forward one after the other, impacting the wolf fang fists and blasting them apart by pushing out darkness with each blow from his arms. He pressed onward through the attacks and punched once at his opponent's chest again, only this time, a dark portal opened behind his opponent stopping him from going backwards, tendrils shot out and blocked off all other exits to the side.
Louis thrust his fist forward with enough force to knock his opponent backwards through the portal releasing a burst of darkness at the same moment, If I can't see, I can't judge what he's doing, but if I can command him movements in a way he can't argue, then I can still hold the upper hand!
A connecting portal opened behind Louis a second later as he drew back his arm. He spun around facing the knew portal and thrust forward with his opposite arm stained with darkness flowing to the edge of his knuckles like water.
((Note: Louis is assuming you went through the dark portal. This is because, with the darkness and tendrils surrounding James, his silhouette with the pure white backdrop before is no longer visible. If James were to have somehow avoided, he wouldn't have been able to see it.))

Before James could really react to Louis managing to overcome all three Wolf Fang Fist strike. He quickly jumped back to evade yet another slowed down attack from the fencer curious what the intent of this style was. However, he hadn't noticed until it was too late that the shadowmancer had summoned a dark portal behind him, the dark tendrils licking out at the sides of the corsair to prevent him from escaping. He jumped back yet again to avoid the direct blow of the second punch. However, he couldn't avoid the burst of darkness that erupted from the fist, sending him off balance as he was knocked into the portal. The corsair couldn't help but shiver as he entered in the darkness. He had never experienced a full dive into the darkness so to speak, nothing but blackness surrounding him.
He remembered all too well what had happened to him the last time he had dove too deep into the darkness unintentionally. He had lost control of himself, striking wildly at none other then his replica. Before he could absorb too much darkness though for that to happen to him, another portal opened and he staggered out backwards, only to receive a fist to his back that sent him staggering forward.
'I need to get away from him!'
James used the forward momentum to launch himself into a "Dash" Giving himself the full thirty feet of distance. When the blurred motion stopped he turned to face Louis yet again and raised his gun, unleashing a few shots at the fencer. At the same time though he was focusing Lunar energy into his left hand, preparing to unleash the Lunar Blast.

Louis felt his attack land solidly into James' back, a sure to be painful hit, soon to be more painful than before. His darkness would act like a poison in the body, corroding them on the inside. At first, it would seem minimal, but the more he managed to inject you with, the more rapid the effects would increase in intensity. On top of this, Louis was now capable of tracking James besides just by sight, but by the signature of his own(Louis') darkness. He called this ability, Seed of Evil. Before Louis could act, James dashed away and shot several times. The first shot was unavoidable, plowing into Louis chest and causing him to stumble backwards. The second, hitting him in the shoulder, and the last in the leg. His whole torso fell backwards, but to Louis time slowed down. Damn... gunner... I can't breath...A heart beat. I can't lose... I have something to accomplish. I have something too important to live for. I have a mission to accomplish.
Another heartbeat. It doesn't end here... not like this! I'm not dead! I'm not dead yet!Two heartbeats in quick succession. He moves fast... I'll just... have to move faster.Three heartbeats. But first...Six heartbeats. I must...Twelve. BREATH![[Cue: Till When]] Louis took in a gasp of air all at once before hitting the floor. His heart raced, the pace still rising with each passing second. The floor beneath him transformed into darkness and he fell through. Another portal appeared at a separate place in the room high above the floor. He fell out picking up speed and entering another portal at the floor. Again, and again. In a matter of seconds he flew from portal to portal in a blur then in the blink of an eye the portal changed angle. He flew out passing his rapier and tearing it from the floor with enough force and speed, the arena tore up in a line along his path before he entered another portal. He exited another portal at another angle, pulling his rapier along at his side. The rapier tore a rift in the realm of light, opening a linear dark portal from one corner of the arena to the other before he reentered another portal. He repeated this process several times in a matter of a couple seconds. A few seconds after cutting these portals they closed up like zippers blasting out black projectiles that scattered throughout the arena with James at the center. All the while Louis never stopped moving, cutting more and more rifts.

{{Cue: Tatakau Mono Tachi(FFVII AC version))}} James watched as his bullets struck true and for a second had hoped that that was being to the end of the fight as Louis began to fall backward. However, before he impacted he watched in curiosity as Louis fell not onto the ground, but into a portal of darkness, disappearing from sight but not from senses as he appeared from a dark portal and basically free fell just as he had, back first into portal after portal. The corsair tried to shoot him down as he repeated this process time and again, each time he did it he gained speed, building momentum that the corsair had no idea how to impede or stop. He could barely keep track of the fencer after all of the momentum that he had gained and then he started to portal after portal at different angles, black projectiles scattering through the arena aiming right at him. 'You've got to be kidding me!'Move!'He didn't need to be told twice as the corsair quickly "Dashed" out of the way, managing to dodge a few of the blasts. However, he couldn't avoid them all, taking several hits before he focused some of his Lunar energy to project a Lunar Barrier around himself. The continuing projectiles crashed into the barrier and it wasn't more then four blasts before the barrier broke and he was forced to "Dash" again. 'I have to do something...'He drew out one of his elemental cards, the heat from the fire card resonating into his fingertips as he focused on transferring the energy into the hexagun, pouring more energy then the usual Elemental Shot would. In the end of his barrel a sphere of fire began to form and he tried to aim it just right so that it was in Louis' current path and pulled the trigger. The Grenado traveled slower but when it impacted with the ground it would unleash a large explosion of fire that he hoped would catch Louis and hopefully stop his ridiculous momentum. Despite all of that though he had still taken a bit of damage from the dark projectiles. His breathing was getting heavy as he nearly fell to one knee. 'That took a lot more out of me then I thought...'

The fire would not have been as great a problem for Louis considering his speed, if he had seen it coming that is. Louis moved from one portal to the next, flying through the flames, catching fire to the tips of his clothes and blindfold. Stopping short of his next portal, Louis slid to a stop, concentrating with a blind hand to pat out the flames clinging to him and toss away the blindfold.
After a second of feebly attempting to put out the flames, Louis released a light blue flash from his core that expanded outward about 3 feet in every direction around him, effectively putting out the flames instantly.
His eyes opened hesitantly, squinting in reflex in case the light was still present. He was pleased to find the flare had burnt out and he was once more able to see his opponent. His now pitch black eyes locked onto James, the remaining projectiles flying out of the closing portals clouding the space between them. Can't let up! MUST.KEEP.FIGHTING!
Louis placed his hands over his chest, darkness flowing from his palms to the center of his ribcage. The darkness formed an orb, within it, a deep purple glow slipped through sending rays of the dim violet shade to pierce the air like spotlights drifting over a cloudy sky.
In response to this, several heartless gathered around Louis looming in the deep shadows this eerie light cast with their beady yellow eyes gazing greedily at the dark orb like a feast presented to the starving dogs.
