Obscurus The True Prince I have a question. Since Sodium Flouride is considered a poison in this forum. My question, is that why the Brand-name, Crest, makes me sick to my stomach after using it then sometimes vomiting my own stomach acids? If I brush my teeth on an empty stomach it sometimes makes my stomach upset. It might have very little to do with the actual toothpaste. Unless it only happens to you with Crest, but not with other toothpastes? Well, i use a special toothpaste that was given to me by my last denist before he died. I've used that since then. But i used Crest once and i just vomited up my own stomach acids, but i was on a empty stomach, i think.

Just it on your taste buds and in your mouth start the bodies digestion activities.. I wish I had a water filtration system for my bath water as well (because we all know your skin absorbs everything!), unfortunately that isn't do-able at the moment.... but my family at very least have been drinking non-fluoridated water and cook with non-fluoridated water for many many many months now. smile Every little change helps IMO. Start small and work your way up.. I will never go back to drinking fluoride and chemical filled water ><

Hm.. just came across this article. http://www.fluoridation.com/colquhoun.htmIt's fairly long.. but I can summarize a bit I guess.. This dentist turned -flouride advocate in New Zealand did a few studies... They added fluoride to the water supply.. Statistics looked good.. tooth decay went down in areas where F was added... but then stats started coming in that the teeth of kids in non-F areas were also having less tooth problems.. The dentist guy requested more info, and was told he shouldn't show it to the public.. had to use the freedom of information act to get some of the info. after longer studies, it showed tooth discolouring and mottling and pitting MORE in areas with F added.. They reduced the amount of F in the water.. Still more longer term studies showed it affects bone structure with increased hip fractures, etc and messes with testosterone and increased bone cancer in males as well. Also lower IQ levels. interesting read

Water doesn't have fluoride in it, tests would show there is and there isn't. Fluoride in small amounts can't do much anyway. What you should be worried about is how unhealthy your bottled water is.

What you should be worried about is how unhealthy your bottled water is. what water doesn't have fluoride in it? The majority of cities add it to their water... many cities have banned it (many in Europe, some in US and Canada too now. Just recently, the city next to mine voted to take it out of their water..) Fluoride in small amounts - but what is a Small amount of fluoride? what about people who cook, and drink, and bathe and brush their teeth with fluoridated tooth paste too - that all adds up, and especially for a growing child can be well over the preferred amount in the body - leading to messed up teeth as well as neurological damage... as stated in many newish studies popping up all the time... anyway yeah - bottled water is no better because then you have the increased chems leeching in to the water too. gross.

What you should be worried about is how unhealthy your bottled water is. It's a well-known fact that drinking water in the United States is fluoridated. There's even a website to check the concentration for your municipality (I believe I linked to it earlier in this thread).

Bottled water not only would have more fluoride, but also other chemicals due to being bottled. Not to mention all it is is tap water.

However, seeing on the content of fluoride in water and how much water people drink, I couldn't see it being too harmful.

The water itself isn't the issue, but the water isn't the only thing that has fluoride in it. The water and all the other sources of fluoride are causing fluorosis in children and possibly brittle bones in older people. Hence, the recommendation that water fluoridation concentrations be scaled back. I, personally, think that water fluoridation isn't a great evil. However, anything can be harmful in too large an amount.

A lot of great reads, thanks for the articles guys! To be completely honest, Gaia Online was the last place I would think to look for a Truth movement guild, and yet here I am. It's nice to have a meeting place of like minds. I actually just received my bumper sticker from http://www.fluoridealert.org/ and got questioned about it by my boss. -great website by the way, lots of online resources-
Anyhoo, I explained what research showed and how many countries have already banned the fluoridation of water. His response was, "No they didn't. They all have fluoridated water. The American Dental Association have shown the benefits of fluoride in preventing cavities. They're just trying to get your money." After that I simply commented I got the bumper sticker for free and told him to do his own research. Of course, my boss is a 57 year old man who has all us 'kids' do any computer work in the store, so I'm not expecting much to come of it. XD
