Niarah Z`Ress Chibish It's quite hard to believe how amazingly stupid people can be. cry I've had two and a half years of customer service for a job. The first thing you learn is that the majority of the public doesn't know their a** from their shoes. I often wonder how they dress themselves in the mornings, and, an even more pressing question: What do people that stupid do for a living? I can't fathom what they're suited for beyond burning themselves in hot, greasy oil whilst they flip burgers or something. I'd say block the imbecile, but it seems it's far more amusing this way. So he's born in 1991? Ahh, the future is bright, isn't it? stressed Oh no, please don't block him! She's right, it's much more fun this way.

zwill_1 i need some plz!! crying crying crying Bah, even the exchange is bombarded with crap like this. I really wish I'd quoted this other one though, before her thread was deleted; She created in excess of 2 diffrent threads, titles all in caps, her posts all in caps. In one of them she proceeded to screach she wanted someone to give her "100.000GLD" for 'an outfit' she wanted. The post was ended with about six crying 's. O.o Stuff like this makes me want to bang my head against the wall.

Today, I had enough luck to run into an obvious scam. Someone started a thread saying, “First 10 people to give me 10k get to be mods”. Needless to say, the thread was subsequently deleted a few moments later with obvious reason. The nerve of some people....

The horrible grammar and gaping spelling errors usually clue me in right away. I'm fairly trusting, so if anyone, oh, say, intelligent, decided to scam me, I might fall for it. Actually, no, I wouldn't.

They could use proper spelling and grammar, but that doesn't necessarily mean their scam is clever enough to work. Things like; “Mail me a horse and you'll get a Halo the next day” are just absurd. I'm sure none of you would fall for a scam like that though. 3nodding

If the person saw a thread saying "Bump 50 times for a free nitemare scarf" or somesuch, the honest player would run the other way. Why? Because the aforementioned scarf would have been won in a dishonest way. ::shrug:: I think that both the scammer and the scammed are at fault.

Anyone who is stupid enough to fall for an obvious lie deserves that little shock of reality when they find out they’ve been ripped off.

I said I was trusting. Not stupid. I have yet to see anyone who's tried to scam me use proper spelling and grammar. I've only ever met one idiot who could do it, and he wasn't scamming me. Of course, I don't go out much for fear of massive heart trauma from the utter stupidity of most human beings. So you're probably right.

SgtElias I have yet to see anyone who's tried to scam me use proper spelling and grammar. Question. I always thought that "he's" means "he is", and "he is" only. I've recently stumbled upon a sentence in my English book; "he's organised a campaign". Does that mean that "he's" can also be considered as "he has"?
Returning to SgtElias' question; yeah, I might just do that. whee

AudioHell Hi im new to Gaia and I would like some help getting on my feet here anything you can offer would suffice maybe some gold or an item you don't wear anymore or maybe just a little tip to keep in mind thanks for your time, `Dante -AudioHell P.s. I was telling the truth when I said you were cute wink 4laugh This is a PM I got not long ago titled, "New to Gaia and I think your very cute!"
Notice the close to perfect grammar. I don't know any new people who bother to punctuate or capitalize like that girl. I'm convinced it's just an older member on a mule account trying to scam people, but then I remember that that's obvious.
My real concern is that Aryu says that she's gotten a PM with nearly the same wording. How peculiar indeed.

Around the time of my birthday, my friend gave me a NM scarf as a present. I wore it one time when I went out to flame people and I haven't worn it since. I had to wade through several posts along the lines of "can i have your scarf its realy koolies" and so forth to get to the person I was initially flaming. I don't have the patience to yell at numerous idiots at the same time. >.<
