"Is that what you were doing?" Ravi asked, amused. He had guessed as much, but he wanted to hear her say it. Well, that and he kind of liked the idea that she was playing a game with him. Sort of. Well, it meant that he was amusing her anyway, and that was good, right?

"You didn't know?" Selene asked, blinking innocently. If he didn't know, then she could have played the game with him again. It was more fun when the other person didn't know.

"Sometimes," Ravi answered, quickly deciding not to use the hated word again. He didn't want her to dislike him, but he did want her curious about him. He was finding that it was a rather fine line.
