Neko let out a long, exasperated sigh, not even bothering to turn around. As he walked off, two black masses leapt from the trees, landing behind him, facing the two attackers. They looked like panthers, except they were metallic, with a thick coat of black, stealth-grade paint. Their heads were anything but feline, or natural, for that matter. They didn't have eyes or a mouth, just a small bronze tube extending from a collared hole in the front of their faces.
One of the panthers looked to Reeve, white energy being brought to the tip of the barrel protruding from it's head. The other looked to Lina, a hatch opening on it's back, housing something close to a missile. With a bright white light it launched, zipping right past Lina before turning around and chasing after her.
~You sound a little bitter.~
"Can you hold up if we hurry?"

Reeve drops into a low crouch, sliding to a halt. He stares the pan-thing down, his fingers twitching slightly. ~Where is my son.~ It's a question, obviously, but there is no inquisitiveness to it, no curiosity. It was serious and tense, the words ticking off like the counter on a bomb.

Ishira heard her sister and spun. Her eyes pained, she threw up her hands, a shield of light forming, draining her energy quickly. If she was here then... Ishiras eyes found Reeve almost instantly and she sucked in a deep painful breath. Her chest tightened and her mind seemed to become a mess.
"Yes... Yes i think i can... Lets go.. please.." She could.. Couldnt she? Her body shivered, causing her words to stutter. She didnt want to look away but Ishira turned her head to Neko, like a lost dog, she ran to him. "Lets go, now!"

Lina left her barrier flying forward. A moment later and she generated an electromagnetic pulse to scramble the missile's control while dodging away.

Reeve's panther fired a solid beam of energy, about three feet in diameter, straight for Reeve, the force of the blast pushing it back a few feet.
The missile lost track of Lina and veered into a tree, shattering it's trunk and sending the rest of it falling down. The other panther jumped in the barrier's bath, pouncing on and grabbing it with it's front claws as it dug it's back feet into the earth, hoping to slow it down, even if it did destroy itself.
Neko nodded quickly to Ishira and looked over his shoulder at Reeve. No smirk, no grin. His expression was as serious as Reeve's
"He's safe."
Without wasting any more time, Neko performed a series of handseals, and shortly after, both he and Ishira were gone, leaving the panthers behind.

~Ishira. Don't leave. I've got your-~ Reeve throws up a sheet of foxfire, but not placing all his bets on one card, he rolls to the right and dives straight for the panzer's neck. Doing his best to give it a savage twist and end it, he shouts, giving full cry to his great frustration. "God DAMN it!"

Reeves mind entered her mind and she looked back to him. Her body quivered again and she had to look away. What did he have of hers? She wondered, before noticing Nekos hand signs. Oh great, she was being moved that way again.
Im sorry... She closed her eyes tightly bracing herself as they left.

Lina's machine flew backwards and crashed through a tree, struggling to get back up.
Reeve's panther's neck began to twist, but it fought back before he could get a good twist on it. Reeve made a good call. the beam had gone straight through the sheet of foxfire. In fact, he should recognize the ability. It was a much smaller version of Bardiel's cannon. The panther batted Reeve away with a massive arm before leaping backwards. They weren't trying to kill, just stall.

Reeve is batted aside, but he recovers quickly. Vehemently pissed, he charges an impressive amount of electricity upon instinct, answering his own question of if he still could. With a quick forward thrust of his hands, he shoves the chain lightning toward the panzer-beasts' barrel.

Lina was on-top of the machine before it could stand, running her non-corporal blade down the middle. She followed that by sending a strong current into it. Planning to overload it and either trigger it's self destruct, or just fry the thing.
She had a barrier dome surrounding it, between herself and it, before she leaped off to a safe distance.

Five orbs stayed on the edge of the forrest. They were large, and not as bright as the light orbs that Ishira used. They colors ranged but each were like a light mist and easy to see through. They moved in small circles, watching the battle they had just run into. Two people leaned against two trees next to each other, their stances mimicking each others almost perfectly. One foot propped up against their own trees, holding them up as their other was firmly planted infront of each other. They carried spears, with colorful feathers by the blades and intricate designs that went down their staffs. The two angled the spears in front of them, one end at the base of their own tree while the other end pointed to the opposite. They were close enough that their legs crossed each other and so did the blade of their spears, as if they were guarding a pathway of sorts.
The female had bright cyan blue hair, most of it short, but in the back part was wrapped in colorful string until it reached her mid back where it opened up to let an inch of hair show. This laid on her shoulder for the time as her scarlet eyes looked onward in a protective gaze. Her two blue wings tucked neatly behind her back. Her clothing consisted of a short tunic, that held tightly to the frame of her body, with the intricate designs that riddle their way on her spear. While her clothes were tan, the designs were blue that trialed the edges of her tunic and across her chest. "What do you think those things are Dja..."
Dja was her counterpart. His eyes were a bright, kind, green while his red orange hair was spiked. He too looked ahead at the battle but unlike the woman he displayed one wing, that was partly spread behind him, against the tree. His were a rain forest green that faded into a sunny yellow that matched his mood practically all the time. He worn almost nothing, but just enough to cover what was needed. Wearing only a leather belted loincloth with a tasset. Like the womans, they were covered with the same designs, his being dark green instead of blue. His muscular, young body was covered with tribal tattoos that he took pride in. She had the same, but she had covered the ones on her chest and firm stomach with clothing no one wore often in their tribe. He felt it was a waste, but was happy that he was one of the few that saw them. "Not sure Rain.. Was that lady Ishira we just saw?"
"Ishira!" A voice rang out from behind them and a cloaked figure of a girl jumped out, only to be stopped by the two. They exchanged looks to each other before taking their spears in so that their company could see. Multicolored eyes peeked out, only to be disappointed that they could not spot their target. "Where did she go?" A soft voice asked. The orbs came to her, one staying within inches of her face.
The lady Kioke has gone to find out... Just wait, we are talking to her... It sounded concerned but let out a small spark of a light before turning away from the girl.
"Then i guess we wait...." The girl sighed, looking out to this new place she knew nothing about. Rain and Dja fixed their eyes back to the battle, awaiting their orders.

Reeve has no way of knowing if his attack is enough. Maybe he shouldn't have hared off unarmed. Facing the panther-thing, he's still able to see the lights in the corner of his eyes. "Lina, do you see what I see? Apart from the Home Depot lions?"
