Hey guys! I'm just posting a quick message to let you know that Boldie64 will be out of action for the next few days, as she's gone away. Until she returns, please let me know if there's anything I can do for you, or of any inquiries you may have. I'm here to help! Hugs to all. xx Ailsa I love that image! Symbolizes what people in D.I do best >.<

This is for everyone.... I'm sorry, but for January, we will NOT be having a newsletter. I sort of made one, when I mentioned all the crew mods, so I fear that's the only "newsletter" you're going to get. I'm sorry for this.....

Some changes could be in order to get things to run effectively. Somewhere down the line, the leader hierarchy got a little wierd. Now people are being appointed to positions without the right reasons. No offense to anyone but I just read a little earlier in this thread that a newbie with little experience was set to vice-captain. No offense to this user personally (so dont take offense, k?) but we should not be promoting people based on friendship or real life ties, but based on EXPERIENCE. DI needs experienced users with real tiime on their hands in command. As I have discussed with boldie, I do have the necessary experience, but no time, so I will try to help out by being the infrequent adviser and occasionally submitting DI related artwork.
And about the previous spat about me leaving, its settled. I was too hasty and assumed too much, I sincerely apologize to everyone here.
And on the subject of being hasty, perhaps you guys shouldn't be so quick to get rid of forums and posts. They do no harm in staying. In fact, having a lot of older posts shows the character of DI. One should only delete a post when it is in violation of reasonable rules. (Real forums dont delete ANY other posts other than rule-breaking ones) And as for getting rid of forums such as the debate forum, etc. Keep this in mind: Its better to have it, and not need it, than to NOT have it, and need it. My friend Rengato (Names changed now, as his account was compromised sad ) quit DI because of his rp thread (hadnt started yet, but he was talking about it in real life constantly) got deleted.
To keep a the largest amount of members satisfied, its good to never take quick action to a matter that is not pressing.
Also, boldie, did you ever get your account sorted out? You never replied to my PM.
Also 2: I am very PM friendly, so PM any questions, thoughts, ideas or anything to me and I'll gladly reply!
EDIT: Allright, after several angry PMs, I guess I'll have to spell it out for you guys: (sorry for being blunt, but) Im getting kind of tired of explaining that this is NOT a personal attack against the co-captain, so just take it easy. No need to aim WMDs at me. I apologise for a rude tone, but seriously, I had to make a point. *gets ready for another onslaught of angry PMs*

Hey D.I. Just taking the chance to say hello to you as your new captain. I know that many people have withdrawn from this guild, which is tough for us all, but I'm really keen to keep this alive. I'm going to need everyone's help, so please feel free to PM me, or comment my page. I'd really appreciate people's input! xx

Congrats, Ailsa !! I'm sure you will do really fine at this job. It's in yer blood, I think. And maybe, just maybe, cuz you're younger, D.I. will survive this little speed bump in the road. Seems to take its toll on "older" people, like boldie and Madralyn. I'm not trying to be mean either. I just know that they've been suffering with chronic health issues for 7+ years now. That can "wear" on a person. idk sorry... Maybe I'm speaking out of turn here. I don't mean to. I'm just saying that I think you'll do a great job being our captain. So ... congratulations !!
