Latin seems tough. gonk But I think it would make one well-rounded to learn it, even though they may not use it much.

I only speak English and Swedish. redface I speak enough Indonesian to get around.
But I'm learning Norwegian and Danish too (get the joke? wink ).
I'm also trying to teach myself Japanese. What I want to learn professionaly is Arabic and Chinese (both). 3nodding
And I must not forget Interlingua.
Oh, and I know quite a bit of Elvish. I'm not sure if that counts or not. xd
Edit: I'm currently being taught Persian by one friend (which is similar to Arabic) and Bemba by another. I'm not sure what use I'll have of Bemba but it's fun to learn. Plus I listen to quite a bit of music from Zambia and it'd be fun to understand it. xd

I speak English, I'm in Spanish class, and I know alittle bit of Japanese. I want to learn Latin, and German, mabe I'll take them up when I'm done with school.
Question, is it better to learn languages one at a time, or to learn them all at once, or does it matter.

English is my first language and I wasn't lucky enough to grow up in a multilingual household. crying I'm trying desperatly to learn Spanish but I can't seem to do good on the tests no matter how hard I study.
About how long does it take to "get" a language because it doesn't feel like it's happening.
