My Hollow Digital Malevolence My Hollow Digital Malevolence My Hollow I will settle for any decent aggrotech on bandcamp? I was really feeling Infekktion, tonight. Cult of Cadavers is bloody brilliant and I have been listening to their album while doing my poetry journals. AMAZING. I just checked out bandcamp, I've never used it before and I have no idea what bands are on it. But apparently Chaos and Terror are on there. Indeed. Cult of Cadavers is fantastic, I really hope they plan on coming out with a second album since their debut is so good. I think I'm feeling this more than metal right now. Bandcamp is nice because you can download debut albums/ lesser known band's EP's for free. So I'll check out the industrial section on Thursday when I can take a breather. But since I'm a newbie to agrrotech..... who would be good to get into? Well, I really cant answer who would be good to get into. It all depends on your taste, thats why I have plenty of links of the first page to bands myspaces so people can listen for free. However, I could suggest a few too look for/keep and eye out for on that bandcamp website. Look for: Nurzery Rhymes
Die SektorX-Fusion Havent listened to this yet--->Noisuf-X (different project of the guy who makes X-Fusion's music but without vocals and little bit more dancy.) Anything more along the lines of this? Say Just Words Control Alt Dues Reaver Hocico Suicide Commando Those are about the only ones I can think of that are kind of along the lines of NR and DS. @Ash: I really don't think Xentrifuge is even close....like at all.

Well, I can see they definetly have something going on, I just feel they aren't quite there yet, if you get what I mean.

Dob't be a hater, their first EP comes out in June. Give 'em some time to blossom into their own.

I wasn't hating, I just think they should really work and focus on getting their music better before releasing an EP. That being said, perhaps they will have everything fixed by then, who knows.
and everything Ash suggested is great, especially Panic Lift, Life Cried, and God Module. But Xentrifuge is nothing like what you asked for, and they get boring pretty quick, at least to me.

My Hollow I really liked Blackcentr. confused What's so hideous about what they did? Life Cried is amazing, I haven't listened to the others yet. Still enjoying Life Cried. I need to get my hands on hard copies of this. FAST. You really want to know? I'll break it down for you. They have a nice distorted kick going on creating the bass, which I actually like. Then comes in a very generic, boring 4/4 untouched up kick, followed by a trashy sounding crash on the 5th and 13th. Normally that sounds good, and I'm sure they could have made it sound good but the levels were just off. The actual bass gets in then, and its making the track sound better and more built up. Then it switches into what I assume is the chorus, but all it does is loses the distorted kick and barely changes the bass, which is actually my favorite part about the track. Then comes in the distorted vocals, which aren't too bad, lyrical content is somewhat bland but thats to be expected in most EBM bands. Then, it just repeats the same thing I explained through the whole track. Theres no variation, nothing, it seems like its leading up to something but just never gets there. They should have at least added a lead in there, mostly likely a detuned saw wave at a low octave. I like what they were trying to do, but they need more work.

The only things I have right now that I could send you is an intro I made, and bits and peices of songs I've made. But the bits and peices are only the computer parts...almost everything is played on my hardware synths.

Glad you enjoyed LC, Hollow. They're criminally underappreciated. Also, I'd recommend you check out Flesh Field, particularly the Strain album. I've been enjoying it a lot lately. Samples:

@Digi: I kinda gave pause to suggesting Xentrifuge first as well, but Converting Infinity actually has some similarity to what Hollow requested. Compare this and this, for instance. But overall, yes, I'd say they're probably a poor fit.

Shadowlit Facade @Digi: I kinda gave pause to suggesting Xentrifuge first as well, but Converting Infinity actually has some similarity to what Hollow requested. Compare this and this, for instance. But overall, yes, I'd say they're probably a poor fit. those two are WAY different songs, the only thing similar is the vocals style.
