James' forward charge continued... out of the range of the missile blast, when they connected with whatever it was that they would hit. He ran as quickly as he could towards the behemoth, covering his face with one sleeve of his coat as he ran through what would have remained of the heat, smoke, and flames from the missile detonation.
He was trying to get as close to the machine as he could before he opened up that case.

The close proximity of the latest series of missiles made them easy targets. Stryphe, sent a blast of energy at each one, ready to let Sey's barrier sheild him from the explosions.

Ender watched, recognizing the spell from the time he had spent in the white mage's company. Truewind, you might want to know something... He sent an image spiraling down along the link between mage and spirit.

((Okay, last I checked both Stryphe and Anna were charging, but unless I missed something, they haven't attacked... have I missed something? sweatdrop ))
Even without Alber's help, Artillery was well on its way to falling forward. Alber sped up the process, though. In a frantic effort, Artillery launched four more RPGs as the ones it previously sent off exploded against Stryphe's energy blasts.
((I'm not even going to bother rolling Sey's shield against second-hand explosions. You guys RP it however you want. xp ))

Anduril The horse veered, avoiding her teammates, and Anna closed in. She leaned over in the saddle and swung her sword in a vicious arc into the side of the robot not being assaulted with Allen's motorcycle. Righteous Fury fueled Anna's already impressive strength, and the five feet of tempered steel reflected that.

(( Ja... there was an attack.
Anyways... This robot put up quite a fight. Our barrier-maker's got to be getting pretty tired after all this. xd ))

"Whoa!"
Seeing one of his comrades in danger, Allen made a quick dive, grabbing the guy and lifting him into the air. It wouldn't do to let him get crushed by the incoming robot, after all.
"Yo, Alber, you ok?"

((I never made an attack against you, just to clarify.))
Stryphe took after the tottering monster, now completely closing the distance between him and it. Taking advantage of it's disorientation and loss of limb and balance, Stryphe pushed away from the ground, leaping above the mechanical monster after it let forth another serious of missiles.
He came down upon the beast, aiming the tip of his halberd towards the gash in the top of the thing's armor. When the time came, he jabbed his weapon downward, sending it on a path that would lead the blade deep inside of Artillery's wound.
Hopefuly there was some sort of cooldown on the missile fire, or Stryphe was in trouble.

As he watched the robot fall Alber released the ensared blade, it returning to its locked position. At that same moment, he felt himself get hoisted into the sky.
"What in the-? Allen! Yes, I'm quite fine, thank you. And thanks for getting me out of there... I was running out of ideas."

((Figures. sweatdrop ))
Any bladed attacks bang up the armor somewhat, but what really seems to be hurting it is that it topples forward (Giving anyone in the way a fair chance to dodge, if they haven't already), landing upside-down. It's remaining legs begin to flail about frantically, as the missiles break off, each going after one final target.
One missile flew after Allen and Alber. Another went for Sey, a third went for Stryphe, and the final went for Anna. Even though Artillery knew it would take some damage, it already realized it was finished.

James dropped down to the ground at Sey's feet, skidding in the torn up earth and setting the briefcase down beside him.
"Someone concentrate on keeping those missiles from doing much!" he shouted, "It doesn't seem like this machine can do much else right now..."
With two clicks, he opened up the latches on the briefcase and opened it up; there were twelve objects inside. Six remote controllers, and six little boxes, along with one large device attached to the top side of the case. He looked up at Seyumi once, wondering if she was holding up alright... she'd only recently recovered, after all. Then, he grabbed one of the yellow boxes, and the corresponding remote beside it, and ran off to cover the remaining distance between himself and the machine.

He was usless up there, the robot was already falling. They had it covered all he had to do ********." He ground to a halt, skidding a few feet before desperatly running back in the other direction.
Never ever leave your healer exposed. Damnit damnit damnit. There were other robots and people in this city. Ones with swords and close range guns.

The missiles stopped steering automatically as Stryphe's blade entered Artillery's body, but instead just started going in a straight line.
Stryphe still had to deal with the fact that Artillery was rolling forward with the warrior still onboard.

"Dammit!" Dropping Alber, Allen kept himself in the way of the missile, leaving himself as it's only target. If someone else took care of it, cool. If they didn't...
...Allen would be wrapping his wigns around himself at the last second into a coccoon, and hope his armored scaled would provide enough protection to keep him alive.
